I'm Keeping You Informed...Whether You Want To Be Or Not!!

I want to start today's post by reminding you not to forget to check out the --> GIVEAWAY <-- for May 15, 2011. Pictures of what it is and everything are there.
Now, as you can see in the header photo, I'm still at it with my Yoyos! Now that I've finished the 2nd set, I'm on to the 3rd. These have purple in the middle, then white, then brown.
I've got 2 more to do, and then on to the next! So exciting for you to read about, right?!....NOT! LOL But I'm gonna keep you informed whether you wanna know or not! That's how I roll! ^_^
Something else that you probably don't want to be informed about is my backyard. It's looking so beautiful and lush. The grass is growing so fast...But the other day....dah, dah, dahhhhh!
These started cropping up everywhere!...Yeah! You know what they are!!
Dandelions!!!...First there was one pretty one, and then......they were everywhere!!...So, the lawn guy came by with his 'trusty hose of sprinkley goodness'. (I don't know what he was sprinkling, but I'm sure the dandelions didn't like it...because now there's not as many of them this morning.) I'm not sure if I'm happy about it or not. They WERE some pretty flowers after all. :-]
On a most wonderful note...I saw the first hummingbird come to the feeder THIS MORNING!! You're probably not gonna believe me, but just as I was about to write that none had showed up yet, and I peeked out there just to make sure I was telling the truth, there he was!! So little! With his wings beating so fast!!
You can look close all you want, but he's not in the picture! LOL I tried to get a photo, but by the time I got my camera on, put it to the right settings, and pointed....he was gone. :-( The good thing though, is that now all of the hummingbirds in the neighborhood will know the feeder is here! Maybe he went to tell all his buddies the treasure he found, and he'll be back later today!! :-) I'm smiling just thinking about that! :-) I'll keep you informed...and hopefully I'll get a picture!
Last thing I wanna tell you about is the new Treasury one of my necklaces was put in! The Treasury is entitled Pea Green and Pink!
It was curated by MadeWithButtons. She has a cute shop herself, full of all kinds of things, made with buttons of course...including jewelry! Please click HERE and go and check it out!...I wonder if it was the glass button on my Pink and Green Victorian Inspired Crochet Necklace that caught her eye for her treasury!
Well, as you can see, not much going on in the Poetesswug household. Just a little bit of this and that. And I'm not complaining!! There's a whole lot of drama going on in the world. Enough without having drama from me!! LOL
I have a friend coming by this morning, gonna work on some more Yoyos, I have a Bible study to conduct...maybe two,... :-) ...and tonight is Date Night!! That's enough drama, don't you think?!....Well...Whether you care or not, I told you all about it anyway!! ^_^

You Probably Don't Care!

I know you probably don't care,
but I have to tell you anyway!
I mean, I have to talk about it.
It's what I do most every day!

I know you have your own things going,
and my things? You could care less.
But I have to spill it, talk,
share, converse, chat, or confess.

Don't you have some days like that,
when you just must 'let down your hair'?
Well, today was that for me,
and it's okay if you don't care! :-)

  8. Bee Happy, Thank you so much, for the nice words about the things I make. All the variety is needed for me because I get bored really easy. Variety of item and variety of color keeps me excited about whatever is next!...And you are so right about the dandelions!! Pretty...but prolific!! ^_^

  17. That reminds me, I've got to get my bird feeder up!! The 'lil birdies are probably wondering where all their food is ;-)

And thanks for the boston tips! I would LOVE to visit Springfield (had no idea basketball was started there) but it might be a little far for us. We are staying downtown and are not renting a car. But the other ideas are definately do-able!

  20. Jen, Yes! Get that bird feeder up!! Don't leave the little birdies out there with their heads tipped sideways, wondering when 'Chow time' is!! LOL And Oh Yes! Springfield's Basketball Hall of Fame is very near me!...And William Morgan invented volleyball in 1895 right here in Holyoke too!! :-)) We're just a Sporty State! {And by the way, The Basketball Hall of Fame is about 2 hours from Boston} You'll have plenty to do in Boston though! Quincy Market and the Copley Square area are a couple more places of interest in the Boston area. Hubby and I even had Breakfast at Tiffany's, across from the Copley Hotel! :-)) Have a good time!!
