Hurrying?....Nahhhh! Uneventfulness.

There's nothing major going on around my area right now...except for people scurrying and hurrying and driving each other crazy trying to get a DEAL! But the fact that not much else is going on is a good thing! ^_^
I spent a little while watching the news last night and I know that some people 'are' having major things going on...and it's not pretty! I'm happy for the nothingness and calm that is my sleepy crocheting life right now! :-)
Besides...why would I need anything major going on when I can crochet?! ^_^

I asked the question on Facebook the other day about what color scarf I should try next. The answer included these colors...black, gray and yellow!
I was very tempted to add another color, or to make the colors into stripes instead of blocks...Mario Andretti stripes! Varoom! Varoom! ^_^...but I resisted the pull to overdo it, and I'm very happy with the way it's turning out! :-) I haven't gotten very far with it yet, but I have all day!
Yesterday I was suppose to start some fingerless gloves or start working on the pillow to put under my pink and white crochet frame....remember that?!...
...but I still have headbands and scarves bouncing through my head...and hey! I'm selling scarves!...not headbands...and not pillows! :-(
I did make a sale that gave me a big smile though....And not because it was a lot of money either! It was because the customer loved it! :-) She loved it so much that she sent me a picture of her wearing it!...
The flower brooch and the customer...both cute! :-)

The only other thing going on in my happily uneventful life at the moment is that hubby hasn't had any more accidents,...Woohoo!...and we're gonna have time to go on a long 'virtual Date Night' trip this week because he's getting a string of time off from work! ^_^ I love time off from work!...By the way, he still hasn't been able to find out about the lady that got hurt in the accident. Maybe today.
Last, let me show you the treasury I found by accident...
It's entitled Beige + Blue Jean. It was curated by ONLYme2u. She included one of my fly button brooches in it. And even though there aren't very many other items displayed, she chose some cute ones!
I'll leave you with this beautiful photo that Kamana took (Jounalling through photos blog)...
It's from her post entitled 'The Simple Life'...pretty good, this simple life, isn't it?! :-] The only thing missing is a backyard!...I don't have ocean and beach, but I also don't have to hurry anywhere! ^_^
Don't forget to enter the Giveaway for the key chain HERE...and Have a simply great day! :-)

Hurry, Hurry, Hurry!

Scurry, scurry, scurry!
Hurry up to go nowhere.
Rushing, rushing, rushing!
Faces with that worried glare.

Bob and weave and dart!
Pulling children by the arm.
Scurry, scurry, scurry!
As if they heard a smoke alarm!

Flitting here and there,
in and out, up and down.
They wake up and they're going
from the time feet hit the ground.

Speeding everywhere,
at an aggravated pace.
Pushy and annoying,
as if they are in a race.

So, really, what's the hurry?
Slow it down. Find a chair.
Is it time that you are chasing?
Because it will still be there!

  12. Alittlesprite, Thank you! :-) It's a crocheted frame right now, but I'm about to work on converting it into a pillow I think. I hate that it's just sitting around here now...unfinished...Stay tuned. ^_^ ...And I'm not 'cruising'...just 'staying the course' right now. Keeping it calm until the next wave hits. :-))
