Terrific Tuesday Treasures!

Since nothing special is going on around here..except hubby going off to get a haircut yesterday, only to find the barbershop closed...*What's up with the Monday closing, Mr. Barber?!" O_O*...and, of course, his job hunting...*Oh! He looks so handsome in his suit when he heads off on his hunt! :-)...Yes, he's Jobless, but he's also good-looking! ^_^...Maybe that should be on his resume! Ha! Ha!*...I decided to show you some of the really terrific things I've seen while blogging, straightening things up in my shop, and going back and forth to Facebook...

First, while blogging...Do you see that gorgeous header photo?!...It's showing some beauty in a place you might not expect to see it...the Lexington Cemetery and Arboretum! Its on 170 acres and is known for its spectacular display of flowering trees in the Spring...Oh! The beautiful weeping cherry trees...and that cutie granddaughter of Vicki's!! :-)
If you wanna see the most gorgeous photos you've ever seen...and of a cemetery no less...follow the link over to Vicki's blog right now --> (2 Bags Full)!...And yes, I know you might not come back any time soon. ^_^ I spent forever over there oooo-ing and awwww-ing myself yesterday!...Just look at the gorgeous shot (below) she got of one of the artist's setting up to capture the beauty. The photo of the easel under the trees is a beauty all it's own, don't you think?!...

Then I was over on etsy and I saw this!...

Its a gift box with three individually wrapped delicious delectables!...10 Chocolate Orange Crinkles cookies: Belgian bittersweet chocolate, orange zest & almond flour....20 Vanilla Diamond Sables cookies: All natural butter with vanilla beans and a hint of lemon zest, sprinkled with crystallized sugar...and a Vanilla Bean & Dark Rum Mini Loaf : a cake rich with vanilla aroma and dark rum!.....Me calling this "Terrific" is a pretty good call, right?! ^_^

I also saw a couple of other terrific things on etsy...

            (Leather Travelers Bag by RCSmithLeatherworks)

       This bag is gorgeous....terrific.....GORGEOUS!!! ^_^

I can't afford it, but boy!.....do I wish I could!!! I'm already dreaming about how I would arrange all my stuff in there!! ^_^

I'd give it a name too! ^_^ I'm not gonna tell you what that name would be though..just in case I get it as a present or something. I'd wanna be able to tell you the story about the name while I was showing you where all my stuff would be put in it! Ha! Ha!.....WHAT?!!!...I "do" have a 30th wedding anniversary coming up soon! :-) If hubby gets a job...or robs a bank!...I might get it!! ^_^ ...Stop laughing!!! There's nothing funny about robbing banks....NOTHING!!! ^_^

Maybe this little terrific cutie would be more up my alley....

...Especially since all we may be able to afford to spare this anniversary is the price of a cup of coffee! LOL...Okay...its not quite 'that' bad!!! ^_^
Anyway!...the last terrific thing I wanna show you is a new treasury!...I didn't curate  it. It was curated by Michaela of MiniaturePeaces...

She included my black and gold almost bumblebee scarf from my Wuglyees shop in it...

         ....and also these terrific items!...

       ....and...

       Pretty Terrific, right?! :-)

Okay....I'm off! Hubby's homemade oatmeal with honey is calling my name!....I might need to change my name. O_O ..."Where are the pancakes and sausage? she whined!!! Wah! Wah! Wah!"...Have a good day, Everybody!

Whining

I'm cold. I'm hot. I'm helpless.
I don't want to eat that stuff!
I'm hungry...full..exhausted.
Why does life have to be so tough?!

I'm lonely...tired of people,
Need to find something to do.
Why doesn't someone call or text,
or email me...But who?!

I'm whining all the time
about one thing and then another.
If I had a dime for all that whine...
I could be rich just on the weather!!

No, I'm not a little kid.
I am a full grown "Whiney Mama"!
And I can whine, and list and list,
comma after comma!

I don't like waiting. I am bored.
And I've got so much to do!
Did I encourage you to whine?!
Don't want to hear it...Mine is through!

Thanks for sharing the lovely photos of that weeping cherry tree - and of the granddaughter in the flowers. Yellow and Black together are so striking and add just the right touch of color to an outfit - the necklace - gorgeous. Hoping you get the bag because I want to hear the story behind the name.
