Have You Ever Seen One Like This?!

Another week of crochet and life is starting...Hello, Monday!!...And Hello to new followers too! :-) Welcome to the backyard!...I'll try not to bore you to tears or talk your ears off....Who said "RUN!!!" LOL
So when I stopped and thought about what I might wanna start this week of posts with, I thought about posts that I've done in the past. And I realized that I've shown you a lot of things over the last couple of years....A LOT of things! I've shown you things that I personally made....one of those things in particular being something that I'll never make again!....Sorry 'Baby Wuglyee'. :-] Ooooo! Whee! He was just too much trouble for Mama!! LOL...

In the course of my blogging and yapping,  I've shown you a lot of the things I've found on Etsy...Vintage items like this...

     ...beautiful jewelry, like this...

...fun and wordy things, like my poems...and other things "with" words...like this...

...And I've even shown you some of my own crochet projects,...like my latest key chains (which will be going into the Wuglyees shop later today, by the way)...

But I don't think I've ever shown you anything like this next thing before (below)...even though I know I 'have' shown you vases before! This one is different...When I saw this one, and the photos showing how it was made, I was enthralled!

What do you think?!...Did you see it just now and start immediately thinking about people and occasions you could buy this for...like I did?! :-)

Isn't it the cutest vase?!...And knowing how much work goes into it makes me love it even more!...

I can see some of hubby's backyard flowers in it right now! ^_^

It's a handmade vase from an Etsy shop called MaidOfClay. :-) You can click on any of the photos above and go and check out the full shop if you like. And it'll be worth it...especially for those of us who are always looking for interesting and new wedding or anniversary gifts to give to good friends.
Have you ever seen a vase like this one before?!...Good job, MaidOfClay!!...In my mind I can see it in all kinds of colors too!....but that's me....COLOR is my thing! :-)) ...Colorful yarn, colorful words, colorful weekends, and colorful Mondays! Here we go again, Monday!...I hope you all have a good week! :-)

Monday, Monday, Monday

Here comes another Monday!
Your frantic work week has begun!
Say goodbye to 'Take It Easy',
and all those things you haven't done.

Four more week days are ahead,
seeming like they'll never end.
But just think, before you know it,
"weekend" will be round again.

Lift your attention, all you mothers;
Week day workers, "Out The Door!"
Time to file, and diaper babies,
walk and scrape things off the floor.

Here comes another Monday!
Whether you want it to, or not!
Say goodbye to 'Take It Easy'.
You've got things to do...a lot!

Monday, Monday, Monday!
Why do you have to come so fast?!
And you stay so long! Why can't
the weekend 'Take It Easy' last?!

  8. Hey Kelli - How sweet of you to feature my vase! Great blog; I have a fondness for crochet because of my mother, and I absolutely love your little bear. I completely understand about not wanting to do one again because it caused so many problems; that happens to me all the time :-)

    1. Hello! :-) ... I love your vase!!! And if you read the comments you'll see that I'm not alone! Your work is fabulous!...Thanks for the understanding about my 'Baby Wuglyee' bear too. I'm sticking with NON-animal crochet things from now on...but he is still dearly loved. Of course he is. He's a "One-Of-A-Kind"! ^_^

  9. Thank you so much for sharing the wedding vases! My cousin is getting married in August and my family hasn't decided on what we were going to get her and her fiance and we think this is the perfect solution for us to all chip in on. They live in a small apartment complex and there's not a whole lot of room for tons of big, bulky things. One of those vases would be perfect for them to sit in their bedroom or in their living room. It's even be perfect to sit in their kitchen as well.
