Hula Chicks...But Not In My Yard.

I thought I'd start the post with a little bit more of the Fall/Autumn color from our yard. :-) And while I know they're not, when I saw this photo I thought these flowers looked like strawberries and kiwi! ^_^ Can you tell where my mind is already this morning?!....Yep! Hungry! And I woke up like that. I actually have a growling hungry tummy!!
I'm gonna put something in it as soon as I can, but first I wanted to share a couple of cute things I ran across while doing some updates in my Wuglyees shop...No, they weren't "in" my shop! lol But the activity feed number kept going up and up and up.....and....okay! I got nosey!! :-)
When I clicked over there I saw dancing hula chicks! :-) ...

And then I found out that it was a greeting card, with blank space inside for all of your own precious words! :-) I love it!...And me being ME, I could almost here a ukelele playing! LOL

Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw these cuties!...

Now...I'm a nut already about a cute pair of shoes! I mean, there's nothing better for a pair of feet! ^_^ But what's even better than a cute pair of shoes for your feet, is a cute pair of shoes for your ears! :-)

After I saw these two cute things I dragged myself back to my shop...before I totally forgot what I was doing. A constant occurrence these days!...besides napping, which is also a constant occurrence. ^_^
While I'm still awake, I wanna share a few more yard photos with you. With 'the season of pops of color' upon us, hubby is enjoying roaming around the yard :-]

*sigh*...What will I do when all of this 'pretty' is covered with 'the white stuff'?!...

Note To Self: Do not mention 'the white stuff' again...until you actually see some of it on the ground!! LOL...Okay, I'm off to soothe the growling beast. In other words...get something to eat. ^_^ Have a good 'hump day', Everybody!

Hungry Stomach

My empty stomach's grumbling
was as noisy as could be!
So demanding in it's urging,
and it's "Hungry" symphony.

I awakened to it's music,
and the fluttering that it caused.
I tried to just ignore it,
with its twist and turning gnaws!

Like a 'stick-in-hand' conductor,
setting music to a riot,
I'll direct some food into it,
so that it will just be QUIET!

    1. Ha! Ha! Yes I did. I fed it with some oatmeal, peaches, and chicken sausage. YUM!...Hopefully it'll energize me so that I can get something crocheted around here!

  2. Love your backyard. Your garden looks so much better than mine, which I've dreadfully neglected this year. Maybe next year will be better.

    1. Thank you, Jan! :-) But I'm afraid hubby's garden doesn't look all that great at all. There's just some stray color hanging on all around the yard. :-) I hope your garden looks even better next year for you.
