Friday Babies!

I know the world is going crazy right now. Yes...I know it! But instead of choosing to talk about the question of war in Israel, parade accidents and 'Hostess Twinkee' companies going out of business... O_O ...I'm choosing to talk about babies! :-) They are much less controversial, and waaaay softer and cuter! :-) Besides, 'Hostess' was my husband's old company he used to work for. I don't wanna talk about them anyway!!
I have a few friends and family with babies, or 'with child'...meaning they're pregnant, right now. Maybe that's why I've been noticing all of the baby items lately. And what I've been noticing is how many cute and new things there are out there!...Not that I've ever bought anything for "me"! I don't have any babies, and I've never been 'with child'! But in my 50 something years...Oh Yeah!...I've bought a baby gift or two...or 90!! ^_^
I'd just like to say right off the bat that if I had a baby girl, she'd be in a kitty hat 24/7 probably!! Ha! Ha!...

Can't you see it?!...Kitty diapers, kitty pajamas, kitty onesies, etc... ^_^

And, speaking of onesies, here's some other baby gifts I'd be surrounding myself with!...

Also an I Love My Aunt (Ant) Onesie from MeSoSmall...

      I 'am' a good auntie...I don't care what you've heard!! ^_^ ...So I really like that onesie!!

If I had a little boy he'd probably be wearing this shirt...

    ...Or this onesie (below)...

I love the graphics on them! :-)

And how about these cute little wearables...

Look at those gorgeous colors too!! :-)

But there are some baby things out there that aren't wearable too! Like these baby blocks...

       ...This sign...

     ...And this!...

So cute, right?!...Better than them chewing on the real thing! ^_^

And last...something to eat at the baby shower!! :-) ...

YUM, right?! ^_^ ... And cute baby gifts too!

I don't have any 'real' babies so that someone would buy these gifts for me, but I'm gonna keep them in mind for all of the family and friends I have who have babies, or who are 'with child', present and future. :-]

I'm gonna concentrate on my 'other' babies I did yesterday...Meet my new 'babies'....

If I can get them properly photographed and 'named', they'll be in the shop later today! :-) and my 'babies'....OUT! ^_^ Have a good day, Everybody!...Keep your heads high...And don't look at the news!...Wah! Wah!!!!!...I'm keeping my head down, and I'm not traveling...even though it's our 'Virtual Date Night'! O_O ...Scrabble anyone?!

Head High, Little Girl

Keep head high, little girl.
And your heart as an open book.
Think good thoughts of who you are,
so other girls can take a look.

Your self esteem, little girl,
should be pumped up wherever you can.
But shouldn't depend on prettiness,
or the sugary words of a man.

Your self esteem needs to be balanced.
Not arrogant or smug at it's core.
For the sun does not rise and set on you,
but nor is garbage dumped at your door.

So keep head high, little girl.
And your heart as an open book.
Your self esteem will then be lifted,
and the whole world will take a look.

  1. Deb, Thank you for sharing all the baby items. Great gift ideas. I like the shoes the best. You have been busy I see. Congrats on all the sales lately. Love the new lapel pins. Have a great day!!!!!! Hugs, Velma

    1. Hi Velma!...I'm glad you liked the baby gift ideas. And I see that you've been busy too, with all your crafting! :-) I haven't been commenting on your blog lately. It looks like you're welcoming more of a specific crafting group. But I do get over to read it a lot...By the way, good job taking care of your dad too! :-) ... Have a good rest of the day...and weekend!

  2. Those little crochet bootees are so cute! I like your little babies too. You have some great colour choices there.

    1. I thought they were cute too, Jo!...The crochet booties I mean.....Well, also my lapel pins! ^_^ And thanks for the encouragement about the colors!
