      I don't usually do blogs where I talk about products that I've used...Well, sometimes I talk about it, but not in terms of recommending something!...And let me say right now, I don't represent the companies of the products I'm gonna talk about today. In fact, they have no idea I'm writing this blog!...but I 'HAVE TO' talk about them!

      Before I go there though, let me say: "Ahhhhhhhh!"...I finally got my pork chops for dinner! ^_^ ...

       I've been craving them FOREVER it seems...I don't know why...Well, I know why, but it's not a rocket science answer. I'm a hormonally 'changing' girl now! ^_^ Craving comes with the territory! LOL...

     They were yummy!!!...And the whole kernel corn and home fries made it a 'comfort food' extravaganza!! ^_^ When it all was gone I was full...and happy! :-) And that, my dear people, is the point, isn't it?!...ME...Happy!! LOL

       Moving on! ^_^ ... Something else also made me happy!...and made me, this morning, wake up and go "Ahhhhhhhhh!" It was this...

      It's my new detergent!!! :-) If you've been reading my blog lately, you know that I've been having an 'itching like crazy' issue! Well...my hubby found this new detergent to try, because we were suspicious that the other one that we were using (I won't name it, because that wouldn't be nice!) was what was making me itch ridiculously!!...

      When hubby prowled the aisles of the grocery store and saw this "Arm & Hammer", dermatologist tested for sensitive skin, which was also FREE of perfumes and dyes, he said: "That looks like a contender!" :-)
      He brought it home and did a few loads of laundry...including our sheets and pillow cases... 

      When I got up this morning, realizing that I slept throughout the night without waking up once!...and that I wasn't itching!...*blink, blink*....WOOHOO!!!! I think we have a winner!!! :-) ... Had you seen this detergent before?!...Considering the fact that I'm itch free this morning, and that the sheets were so soft...more than usual!...I'm recommending it, Yall!!!!...HIGHLY!...

      I'm also recommending this!...

    Clorox has something NEW!!!...especially for us sensitive skinned itchy types!! LOL...It's Gentle bleach!! WOOHOO!!!!...

      The description on the bottle says it's gentle on fabrics, powerful enough for tough cleaning!...And it's also FREE & CLEAR of perfumes and dyes!!!! :-) ...
 

      These may be my new best friends now! :-)) ...
 

      Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!...I'm relaxed, clean, and not itching!...*blink, blink*.....Okay, now what should I do?!...Read a book?!...Eat something?!...I know!...Go and get my package ready to ship! :-) Yes!...I sold a boutonniere last night! YAY!!!! Keep 'em coming!!!!! ^_^

My Mind Has Me Twisting And Turning!

     You ever have so many things on your mind, and so many issues to figure out, that your mind tries to work them out for you...while you're trying to sleep?! :-] Well, that's what is going on with me lately!! It seems that just as I get one thing figured out, something else pops up to take it's place...and multiply!! O_O

      I think my brain is tired of me trying to figure things out, and it wants to do it all by itself now...in twisting and turning 'cat naps'! LOL I say that because all I wanna do is sleep!!...Nap!...Catch a few Zzzzzzs!! :-) And because of that, I'm always noticing all of the items on Etsy that would probably...at least in my mind!...make my resting and thinking time a lot more comfortable! ^_^

   I usually notice pillows!!...and those creative Etsians are making all manner, style, color, materials, texture, and size of PILLOWS!! :-) I can almost feel my eyes closing, and my head bobbing up and down, just thinking about them! LOL
    I especially love the colorful ones...big surprise right?! ^_^...like the lumbar pillow in the header photo!...I even like the grey corduroy back-side of the pillow (shown in the photo above).

     And, of course, along with color, I do SO love a pillow with flowers!!..another surprise, right?! ^_^ ... And if the pillow has flowers AND buttons.....Zzzzzzzzzz!!! LOL...

     ...(waking up)....Wait a minute!....What was I saying?! ^_^ 

    If you've already seen the photo below, you're probably thinking 'pillows with zippers? Wug likes those too?!!!' Ha! Ha!....No!...I don't like zippers on my pillows!...I just like zippers....period!...and I saw that somebody had them on sale and thought I'd tell you about it!! ^_^ ... 10 zippers for $2.90!!!...

      Now...back to my sleep! :-) ... Oh, if only I had the proper place to hang this hammock!!...

       But then...knowing me!...I wouldn't get an ounce of sleep, worrying about falling off of it!! Ha! Ha!...which brings me full circle, back to me twisting and turning, and not getting any sleep because I have too much on my mind!...*sigh*...I wish I could tell you the details, but some things are just not 'blog-able'...even for me!! ^_^

      I can tell you that my blood-work turned out fine, and...supposedly...I'm great!...considering the condition I'm in!! LOL...Don't you just love 'doctor/nurse speak'?! :-) ... And I can tell you that hubby started training for a new part-time job....We're not too excited about it yet, because we're not sure it's gonna be what we need to keep ourselves going. But we're trying to keep it positive, and in prayer!

     The other stuff on my mind is too detailed and too specifically personal to talk about. Suffice it to say...I think it would keep you awake too!! ^_^ I'm just thankful that I still have my crocheting...for all of the awake hours! :-) Twisting and turning my hand to crochet is much more comforting than twisting and turning to try to sleep!! ^_^

     Of course, if my business doesn't pick up soon, my Wuglyees shop is gonna be another one of those things I have to start my mind to figuring about!! O_O I don't want that!!...UGH!...Maybe I should slow down on the crocheting for a bit and read another good book to 'take me away' for a while! Another Jane Austen, or 'The Help' type book! :-) Any suggestions?!...Oh Well, Time to go back to sleep!...Have a good day, Everybody! :-)

Jane Austen Might Have Liked This Herself!!

         I mentioned in my post yesterday that the movie 'Pride and Prejudice' caught my attention some years back, and I thanked Jane Austen. Then, after a little thought, I realized that while I have watched and loved a number of movies based on novels by Jane Austen,...Pride and Prejudice,

           ... Sense and Sensibility,...

              ...and Emma...

            I have never actually read a book by Jane Austen! O_0
       I've got to remedy that oversight soon!! I just hope it doesn't end up being the same way it was when I read 'To Kill A Mockingbird'! :-( After seeing the movie 'umpteen' thousand times...and loving it!...I was very disappointed with the book.
       Anyway....I'm all about getting in the Jane Austen mood today...after I watch the final mountain stage of the Tour De France, and finish the black crochet hat I'm still working on (now that the red one is finally finished), and planning for hubby and I's trip to Paris for our 'Date Night' tomorrow! Yep! I'm finally gonna get there!!! LOL {He wants to eat Escargot!!! O_0 I'm trying to talk him into 'French' fries!! LOL}
        So how do you get into a Jane Austen mood?! This is how!...

          Okay!! Now I'm in the mood! :-) Now I just have to figure out which book to start with...Have any of you read any of her books?! Do you have a recommendation for where I should start?!...If I don't get any suggestions I may just start with the one I love the best from the movies...Pride and Prejudice. After all, and I think I've said this before, 'I'm a sucker for a love story!' :-)

Reading Is Fun.....Or Mental!! :-)

        As you know if you've been following my blog, I'm reading the book To Kill A Mockingbird. 

 

          I spent most of yesterday morning reading. I'm getting really close to the end now!...I'm enjoying it, but I keep finding myself thinking that I wish I had read the book first, before watching the movie umpteen thousand times!! I'm having a hard time keeping myself enthused when I know what's coming next!..So, I've been doing stuff to keep my attention....like reading out loud, and pretending to be the characters I'm reading about. It's pretty funny to do sometimes. ^_^
      The southern accent parts are not that hard, being as I'm from the south myself. (Georgia) As a matter of fact I have to make myself NOT read it with as heavy of an accent as I'm familiar with from 'my parts'! ^_^ I recorded myself reading a little section of it. I tried for a long time this morning to upload it so you could hear it, but it wouldn't let me. There was a whole long list of stuff I had to read, and some stuff I apparently would have had to agree to. My thinking brain is not in good enough shape to be agreeing to anything that long and involved this morning, so....NEVER MIND!!!
     But I did want to show you what else is keeping my attention!

     It's the "O" magazine! Remember I won the Giveaway on SnowflakeDream1's blog?! Well, as kind of a substitiute for some of the other gifts, she gave me a year's subscription to Oprah's magazine instead. I got my first issue a few days ago!

       This is the thickest magazine I've ever gotten in the mail, I think. There's so much in it! The only thing that's disappointing so far is that my first issue wasn't the April issue! Apparently that issue had her first poetry entries, a new series she's suppose to be doing. I heard that there was going to be a lot of poems in it and an interview of Maya Angelou! :-( 
      Oh Well!....Maybe hubby will be able to find it somewhere for me. He's already been looking, but nobody seems to have any copies anywhere so far. The further we get away from April, the less likely I am to get it too! Guess I'll have to be happy with my own poetry! ^_^
     That's alright. The magazine has other things in there to keep my attention! :-) 

     Being a girl from the south who used to run around barefoot all the time, you'd think that shoes wouldn't get my attention so quick! Well...you'd be wrong!!! LOL Although, I do think I like looking at them more than wearing them these days! And with the weather around here, who NEEDS shoes?! Might as well have flippers on my feet, with all this rain! ^_^
      I'm just being my usual silly self!....Maybe I WILL get this print by candidate after all!! LOL

     It definitely fits me, don't you think?! ^_^ Have a good day Everybody!!

A Free Gift, Even Though It's NOT A Car, Trumps The Weather!

      You're probably wondering what the car reference is in my title. I'll tell you in a minute...UGH!....but first I need to show you my free gift! Or should I say free gifts! They came in the mail last night. And where I thought one free gift was good, trust me, two free gifts are better! ^_^
       Remember the earrings I won about a week and a half ago on planettreasures blog?! Well, they're hereeeeeee!

       Please forgive my bad photos. The light was really bad in the house last night, but I just had to show them! I love my new Peruvian Opal earrings!! I'd never seen or heard of Peruvian Opals before. I googled them so I could become more knowledgeable...I like learning new stuff! :-)) ... and little did I know, but apparently Peruvian Opals are the new gem!...Have you seen or heard of them?!

     I love the natural shape of them, and the fact that I don't have any like them....because you know I have a ton of earrings, right?! LOL {I should do a blog post on them....or two...or three blog posts! ^_^}

       And if these weren't good enough, she sent me another pair too!! I didn't know that it was another pair of earrings though, until I opened the other little package...

      ...and got a big smile on my face when these came out, in all their colorful, flower-ful glory!! :-]

       Aren't they beautiful?! :-) I came online this morning, all prepared to just talk to you and show you my earrings....and as I was editing the photos the phone rang.... O_0 It was my hubby!
      He was sitting on the side of the road. The car completely shut down on him!!...GREAT!!! We just got rid of the 'ghetto-mobile' a little while ago, and now our only remaining car wants to 'act up' too!...He called to get a ride to work, and then...

      ...had to call the towing company to come and tow the car to the car repair shop...*sigh* {The Tow Truck Wall Print above is from an Etsy shop called SweetpeaKidPrints} Something tells me that "there goes our nice tax refund!" 
     I have no idea how he's getting home today...but I'm sure there's going to be a conversation about buying a new car soon! He's about had it with our 'Piece of cars' as he calls them. LOL Considering....I might not argue about a new car at this point...*smh*
     In other news, the backyard is almost clear of snow again!!! It's like a bad Roller Coaster ride!! Snow one day....No snow the next....Tons of snow the next day.....then the sun comes out and now? Hardly no snow!....But we're due to get a 'Spring-time Snow Storm' starting today!!...I feel like quoting Bette Davis: "Fasten your seatbelts...It's going to be a bumpy night!"
      On a good note.....finally, right?! ^_^ ...me and my girlfriend were having a conversation about books to read. We have lots to read anyway, but we wanted something else to sink our brain into too. Something light. I told her about how much I enjoyed the book I recently read, "The Help". That's the one she's going to read now, I think. I told her that I always wanted to read "To Kill A Mockingbird".

       So she got it for me!! :-) So you'll be hearing me talk about it soon......that's your warning! LOL I've seen the movie too many times to count, but everybody always says "You should read the book!" So now I will!! :-) I hope it doesn't disappoint....because I LOVE the movie! I hate it when movies don't live up to books. This could be a bad case of the reverse!...Anyway, I'm excited to get started on it sometime this week. Maybe I'll start it this afternoon....when the 'Spring-time Snow Storm' starts....UGH! Have you read it?!
