Tote, Tote, Tote.......That's All She Wrote!!

     Say "Bye, Bye!" to my latest wuglyees etsy shop sale, one of my crochet totes! *waving my hand!!* ^_^ It was sent off to a 'soon-to-be' bride. And she loves it!! :-) Her friend referred to her as a lover of handmade items, and kind of hippy-dippy! O_O WHATEVER!!!! If she's a customer for my 'style' I love her!! ♥
 

     Hubby is manning a spot at our friend's 'Tag-Sale' today to try to see if we can have some more of my crochet items taken off of my hands!...along with a few other things too...."Scarves or pocketbooks, Anyone?!".....I said: "ANYONE!!" LOL
 

     I'm working on a 'funky-colored' hooded baby blanket at the moment. I was gonna try to share some photos of it with you today...*In fact, that's why my post is so late! :-))*...but, due to my amazing abilities to organize....Uhhhh...I can't remember where my camera's 'Home' is!!! *Blink! Blink!*....And stop that laughing too!!!...(This is all your fault, Peter Walsh!!!!) ^_^

     In other news, I still have battling hummingbirds at my feeder! :-) Although, why they're battling for a feeder this late in the season is a puzzlement to me! O_O Aren't they suppose to be slowing down and fattening up for their long trip to Mexico, or something?!!...Oh well, they still are a lot of entertainment for me...in a 'why-you-enjoying-those-bird's-misery' kind of way! LOL

     Hopefully tomorrow I'll find my camera...and my favorite ink pen...and my crochet needle case.....! O_O ORGANIZING!!! Grrrr! ... See you then! ^_^

Daily Trends...And Slippers With Personality!

      I've decided that no matter how much I love it...talking my head off I mean...there's just not enough time in the day to do it the way I used to! There just isn't!!...*sigh*...Don't get me wrong, I'm still talking!!...I'm just not talking with my typed words!...I'm doing most of my talking to my personal care assistant these days! :-)

      Just like YOU all, she's a very good listener. ^_^ She lets me ramble on, talking to my inanimate yarn and crocheted projects in between sentences to her. ^_^ I have to admit that it's gotten to be such a habit that when I sit quietly to type here on the blog I find myself hesitating because I've already talked about...whatever it is...to my personal assistant!!

      It's become a daily trend to 'NOT' write my blog, but instead to do my talking to my PCA in person! O_O I still find that I 'WANT' to write, but I hesitate more about it than I ever did before...Clearly though I still have a desire to write, because here I am! ^_^ But I'm afraid I let the times I write now 'find me', instead of me finding them! Like, for instance, right now I'm up at 4 O'clock in the morning because I couldn't sleep! O_O

      I laid in the dark...singing ^_^...for an hour, after abruptly waking up for no reason. Finally I thought: 'Ooooo! This is a good time to do your blog!!'...So, here I am!...I'm really tired, but I have songs and words zooming through my fully awake brain...as you can see! ^_^ Unfortunately there aren't any 'deep' thoughts, or clever words. Just words. :-)) And a few pictures...

Mixed Report...Of The Weather And Me!!

      Hello from 'rain and snow mix' central! :-) Or as hubby and I call it, 'sleet meets mess' central! LOL...Do I dare go missing for days on my blog and then come back and talk about the weather?!.....Yes!...I dare! ^_^

      I'm not complaining today though! I told hubby that I was gonna pick a 'fruitage of the spirit' to work on today. (Galatians 5:22, 23 = "...the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control.)  The one I'm working on today is self-control...i.e., I'm gonna control my tongue from complaining. Or should I say...that's the aim! :-)

      In solidarity hubby decided that he's gonna work on patience. :-) Of course, if I'm not gonna complain, his working on patience oughta be a piece of cake!! LOL I'm the one that complains his patience away!! LOL...Whatever!! ^_^

      In other news: I am still alive!! :-) I still don't know anymore, health-wise, than I did the last time I posted...even though I've seen many nurses, and the doctor, and am due to see more of them this week!!...My body is a puzzlement right now. And as many tests as there are that say all is well...there are as many weird things going on in my body! ^_^ The good thing is that whatever it is doesn't appear to be life-threatening. Unless strangling doctors and nurses is considered life-threatening! LOL

      I've been feeling good enough to crochet a bit. YAY!! :-)I made a few tiny lapel pin brooches that I plan to list in the Wuglyees shop today...

      I listed a tiny white one this morning already.

       And I listed these flower pin boutonnieres yesterday!...
 

      The white boutonniere sold last night...along with a black and white one too! :-) YAY! I'll be making new ones today to replace them.

      Well, other than these few things, nothing else is going on around here...except for a really cute new etsy shop I found!! :-] I'll share a few of the items that caught my eye tomorrow....And yes! I think I'm back to my daily posts now. Don't quote me though, just in case! LOL

Time To Spring Into Pancake Sunday Talk!

      Don't worry. Even though I used the word 'talk' in the blog title for today, I'm not gonna talk your ear off. Promise! ^_^ In fact, I'm barely awake after 'springing our clock time an hour forward'!...for daylight savings time...Too bad I can't spring my body clock ahead an hour!! LOL

      Considering that the extra hour is a sure sign that Spring will actually be here soon!...at least, in our neck of the woods! (because some of you have 'been there/done that' with Spring already! ^_^)...I'm gonna share some Spring-looking items I found on Etsy!...At least they reminded 'me' of Spring! :-)

       Well, the pencil holder didn't remind me of Spring...

      Flowers and Spring colors!...YAY!...Apparently Spring really is going to come this year! LOL...In the meantime, I'll be keeping calm and trying to get the vision of piles of snow and ice out of my head!!

      And just because it's Pancake Sunday, I'll let you know that no pancakes are on the table this morning...My choice. I wasn't in the mood...What I was in the mood for was a raisin bagel. So I had one!... ^_^ ...along with some green tea, with lemon and honey!

      Hopefully...barring any curbs jumping up to attack our car...or any other mishaps this morning...it's gonna be a great start to the beginning of the upcoming day of Spring! ^_^

Custom Made Baby Sweater And Hat...FINISHED!!

       
      It's been a long day, folks!!!!!! And I'm very glad that it's almost over!! Phew! :-] But before it's completely over, let me share the finished baby outfit that I finished!...

      The customer sent me the yarn, the buttons, and the pattern! She just needed someone to crochet it up for her! :-] I was happy for the chance to do something besides a flower for a change! ^_^
 

      It was an easy pattern to work too!...AND as a bonus...the customer gave the pattern to me! :-)

      I love the shell pattern on the outfit!...It really looks cute on the hat...
 

      And what a great idea to add a button to the top of the hat, right?! :-) I'd never seen a baby hat pattern that called for you to do that before!...It's a cute addition for sure!...
 

      Speaking of additions...I just had to make a flower for her! ^_^ I couldn't help myself!!!...
 

      I added one of her adorable buttons to the center of it instead of a flower bud, like I usually do...

      My photograph of it doesn't look so hot!...It's tough getting the lighting just right to take pictures, now that it's getting dark earlier, and the sun is rising and setting in a different position in the sky around here this time of the year...Or at least that's what it feels like! ^_^

      Okay...I'm out! :-) I hope you all had a good day...and I'm hoping mine is better tomorrow!!! Ugh!

        It's dark outside...again!...about to pour down rain at any minute! With that, and all of the other things I could be complaining about right now....and trust me, it's a LOT!!!!...this post could go on forever!!...But don't worry, I wouldn't do that to you! :-)) I WANT to!...but I won't!

        Instead I'm gonna forget that there are any problems in my life, or in the world, at this moment...and I'm going to mentally revert back to childhood!...That's a good idea, right?! ^_^ Childhood...with it's playfulness...it's dancing like a ballerina...it's enjoyment of flowers, which are on everything!...

     Yes, I'm reverting back to those things...instead of complaining about the rainy, dark weather...the lack of regular sales in my Wuglyees shop...or my health.

     Childhood thoughts are better to focus on, rather than sitting around shedding tears over 19 fire-fighters that lost their lives in a wildfire yesterday...or fretting over where next month's money to pay household bills is gonna come from! O_O ... because 'OH YEAH!' I could do that!...but I won't!!!

      Sorry I'm not in a better mood today, Y'all!...Maybe tomorrow.
