Date Night, With A Pause From Blankets And Tag Sales!

     So, how's your Friday going so far?!...Mine?!...It's 'Virtual' Friday Date Night!! ^_^ Does anymore need to be said?!...I wait all the whole long drawn out week for Fridays!!! LOL

     Part of the day was spent trying to sell something...ANYTHING!!...at the 'Tag Sale' today. I mean...the end of the month is coming, and the end of the money was long since gone!! ^_^ ***Tell me, why doesn't someone want to send me a million dollars?...or at least a few thousand?...Tell me!! LOL*** But after three days of long hours of waiting for people to roll by, and listening to their endless reasons for why they needed everything else but what we were trying to sell, and having nothing much to show for it except a whole $6.00, a Grandpa T-shirt {for my dad}, and a pretty sign that was lovingly made for me to put next to my scarves...
 

     ...we're THROUGH with 'Tag Sales'!!! O_O On to more smile-worthy things...like Date Night with my hubby! ^_^ So what if, because of the lack of sales, if we can only afford to stay at home and eat peanut butter crackers!! LOL A date is a date is a date!! ^_^ And besides...we both could use a good long uninterrupted NAP!!!! :-))

     While hubby was at the 'Tag Sale' in 'salesman' mode, I was sitting here in 'finish-this-hooded-baby-blanket' mode!! :-) ...
 

      And after a few extra colors, and a well-placed hood, I'm done with it!!! :-) 
 

      'Baby Wuglyee' loves it!! ^_^ In fact I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to get it back after the whole Peter Walsh and 'everything needs to have a home' thing!! LOL I had to sneak this shot of him wrapped up in it watching TV. Notice.....he's NOT in his 'HOME'!!! LOL

      Thankfully though, hubby is in his home!! ^_^ So he helped me get this picture of the hooded baby blanket all done!!...
 

     I'm hoping to get it listed and in my online wuglyees etsy shop tomorrow. That's if I'm not too tired from my 'Napping Date'!! LOL

     I started it today...when I was on a slight break from the baby blanket. :-] Can you guess what it is?...
 

     I'll tell you about it tomorrow. Hubby's ready to SNOOZE!!! :-)) Have a good weekend everybody! ♥

A Little Doze'll Do You!

I enjoy my sleeping, and a doze,
a nap, and such.
In fact I might enjoy a snooze
entirely waaaay too much!

At any time of day,
you'll find me like a weeping willow.
Head hung low and dragging,
looking for the nearest pillow.

No, there's nothing wrong.
I'm not depressed. I've still got bounce!
And I can stay awake and be
quite witty when it counts!

But I have been awake for things
when I could've been asleep.
And now my time's so valuable
I don't treat it like it's cheap.

My sleeping, dozing, napping,
is to my life a special key.
It unlocks and refreshes
and dispels anxiety!

Most people try to fill up
every hour in the day.
But me, I'd rather be asleep
and waste it all away.

There's plenty hours left
for all the flit and play and chore.
An hour for a nap right now?!
Why not?! There's 24!!

I Feel Like Talking...But About What?!

      Howdy!...I'm here to talk! ^_^ There must be something to talk about right?!.....but for the life of me I can't think what that might be! LOL Right now my life is full of a lot of 'same old, same old'. Crocheting, eating, napping, exercising, bathing...incidentals, incidentals :-)) ...watching tennis, blogging, trying to get something sold in my Etsy shop, and music! ^_^

      What is there that's new in that to talk about?...Not much!...other than the same old things I always talk about...with an added hummingbird siting and a leaf turning occasionally brown?! ^_^

      Speaking of brown... :-)) ...this (below) is the brown crochet flower pin that got chosen for the treasury in the header photo!...

      I don't know why my shop is the focus of so many etsy treasuries lately, but I'm not complaining about some traffic to my shop or some extra views! Instead I just wanna let the treasury curators know how much I appreciate the attention. So that's why you keep seeing the treasuries featured here! THANK YOU, CURATORS!! ^_^

      Eventually I'm sure I won't have any more treasuries to show you and I'll be here rambling on at the face like I always do!! LOL...WHAT I'll be rambling on about is anybody's guess!! ^_^ For now, it's about etsy treasuries, and my latest crochet projects.

      Speaking of which...*don't you love it when I say "speaking of which"? LOL...this is what's on my crochet hook right now...

      It's another crochet hat. Not the cowboy style this time. I'm taking a 'one hat' break from the cowboy hat! ^_^ The color of this yarn was calling to me, and I didn't have enough of it for a cowboy hat! :-) The cowboy hat is done with double strands throughout....I already have a color to work on for the cowboy hat as soon as this one is done though! :-)
