Sleepy 'Stream of Consciousness'!

      Why am I up at 3:02 a.m.?!! ^_^ Aargh! Hormones!!! Oh well, since I'm up anyway!...let's talk! ^_^ Just random 'stream of consciousness'...like, for instance, why is it that I can cut and file my toenails and fingernails, but there's always at least one toe or fingernail that wants to be a problem!!
      I know you know what I mean!...it's the toenail or fingernail that imbeds just a little too deeply into the side of your finger or toe, resisting the clippers and the fingernail file at every turn!! LOL Inevitably you finally get it just right, then you look at the rest of your fingernails and toenails...and this one now still looks 'wonky'!! LOL Oh, the things we do to have pretty nails!!!

      How do you....nicely...tell your husband that you don't ever want him to make you a certain dish ever again....EVER?!! LOL Is there a nice way to say to your husband (or whoever is doing the regular cooking in your household) that their cooking of a particular thing has much to be desired?....like....you desire that they get someone who knows how to cook it, to cook it for you!...with them way.....waaaaaaay...away from the stove!! LOL

      Maybe you could say: "I'm sorry honey, but I don't want to fake smile through another tasting of it!! It's really awful!!!! YUCK! Turn the stove up to a decent temperature, or down to the heat level of the sun, or.....OFF!!!!...and back away from the stove!...or away from the kitchen all together!!!" LOL
      Okay....no! :-)) I guess there isn't a nice way to say that! ^_^

      Have you ever fallen 'out of love' with some of your relatives...sisters, brothers, cousins, etc....and then years go by and you 'fall back in love' with them again?! :-) That's happening to me these days. I'm re-starting to see why I thought they were adorable, funny, smart, and my dear relatives! ♥

      I wonder if music will ever get old to me. I mean, I wake up happy to listen to it, hear it randomly on t.v. commercials and start wiggling my toes, go to sleep with it peacefully, and just generally never get tired of it!! Is there gonna be a day, like when I'm 97 or something, when I say to myself: "WOW! I can NOT hear that song one more time!!!!"...I suspect not. :-))
      Even when a song has almost worn me out!...meaning it's on every station being sung LIVE by the artist, it's the song that's being used for every commercial, it's the song some friend of mine falls in love with (thinking it's a new song, but it's 2 years old), it's the song playing over and over on a loop in my head when I wake up in the morning, etc....I STILL can hear it and be in love with it all over again!!!

      It may be one of those kind of loves where I'll have to be deaf and brainless before it ends...sorta like the love I have for my God, for crocheting, for napping, and for my hubby!! ^_^ I guess that's alright. Right?! :-)

       My skin is so dry!!! O_O I'm slathering lotion on myself like next week lotion is gonna go off the market forever...and STILL...two seconds later...my skin is dry again!! Ugh!...I've turned the heat down, slept in moisturizer, turned up the humidifier, exfoliated, used moist towels, etc...but invariably, shortly afterward, a little itch starts...I look down...and I'm 'ashy'!!! LOL Maybe it's just a 'dark-skinned girl' thing! Ugh!

The Perfect Perch For The Day!

      Isn't this a great perch?! :-) I thought so! In fact, this is the only thing that was missing from my relaxed and somber day. A perch to curl up in and stare out into the backyard would've been a good addition to it! 

      Other than lazing around, all hubby and I did was listen to a audio tape of a recent assembly of our spiritual brothers and sisters, Jehovah's Witnesses, and watch tennis, and eat! :-] ... As I think about it, it would've been considered by people in some circles as one of the best days ever!! ^_^ So much so, that I almost forgot to post a blog! O_O But...consider it done now!! LOL...And I'll see you tomorrow. I'm off to transfer this body from a perch...to a bed!! ^_^ Goodnight!

       It's Monday!!! Yes, People, we made it through another week!...and here we go again!! ^_^ Well, actually we aren't going anywhere again right now!...I don't celebrate it, but it's a holiday here in the U.S. So nothing is going anywhere today...including me!! ^_^ The Post Office isn't even shipping anything from my Wuglyees shop. It's closed! :-) You can still put your order in, but just don't expect for it to go anywhere until tomorrow. :-)

Pancake Sunday Is On Hold For Today

      As you can see, there's no pancakes on the blog today. Yes, I do still love pancakes! :-) And I may still have some this morning. But we lost a dear friend this weekend, and I decided that instead of 'fluff' on the blog today I'd put some images up that make us think of her.

      Unless you knew her, these images won't bring memories flooding to your mind. But these are images I pulled together after listening to stories of her from her close family. I won't explain them. But you can probably figure them out. :-)

I'm Seeing Dots This Morning...And It's A Good Thing!

   Do you see the rain clouds...on the earrings, I mean?!...Yeah. I do too! And thankfully I'm ONLY seeing them on the earrings this morning. It finally stopped raining here. Woohoo!!! :-) ... I'm trying to be happy about it for the small amount of time I have to be happy about it, because we have some kind of rain storm coming tomorrow...*sigh*...as if all of the rain we've been getting so far was not enough...But WHATEVER! It's not raining right now...except on earrings! ^_^ Although I am seeing spots!!!

       I don't know why polka dots are catching my eye so much! Last week it was stripes! So maybe I'm just going through 'a-thing!' LOL...I have to say though, that the love bug diaper above would have caught my eye even if it didn't have dots! ^_^ Can't you just see your little toddler 'toodling' around the park with that cute bug on his 'booty'!! :-))

My Computer Brain Can't Take No More!!

      Yep! My brain has decided that it no longer wants to play!...not in any kind of speedy way anyway!...And in case you haven't figured it out by now, I'm not talking about my 'brain' brain...you know, the one that's rattling around in the top of my poetry filled skull! :-)

     I'm talking about my computer. The one with the typewriter letters on it's lap, and waaaaay too many lights, numbers and arrows and stuff! LOL...It's operating sooooo......slow.....sometimes!!

    I think the problem may be that I'm trying to save too much info on it these days...All of my shop photos, family photos, Etsy transactions, customer conversations, Facebook interactions, Twitter, bomps, boings, and a partridge in a pear tree!!!! LOL

      Yes, I know something has to go!...Or does it?! ^_^ ... That's what hubby and I were talking about this morning when I told him how aggravating the slowness of the computer was making me. He, with his usual 'Mr. Let-Me-Fix-It' self, said: "Why don't you erase some of it. You don't need all of the stuff you're saving anyway!"

       When I assured him that 'That Ain't Gonna Happen!' he said: "Well, what you need is external hard drive?"...O_O...There he goes with that gadget talk again!! ^_^

     Of course I had to get the whole explanation...from A to Z...whether I wanted to hear it or not!! LOL But I'm actually thankful, because now I know what I need...I need some more brain space!!! ^_^...I'm talking metal here...not 'matter'! LOL

     So, as soon as I figure out how to hook up a wagon to the 'free money' tree...Ha!...I'm gonna be looking for more brainage! ^_^ ... I peeped around Etsy...like I always do! ^_^...and found that the creative brains there are all working on it!!...

     Just so you don't think I'm a total 'brainless' person though, I can tell you that I do have a 'flash drive'!...My girlfriend talked me into getting it to put my poems on, in case my computer crashed. O_O I also don't understand why she's worried about my computer crashing. It's always in a safe place...and we don't really get earthquakes here! LOL

     Just kidding, people!! ^_^ I know what she meant!...But honestly, I still forget to put my poems 'on' the flash drive!! So what good is it really doing?!...Maybe I need a cute flash drive like this one...

My Morning Looks Like.....

       I suppose the first thing I talk about this morning shouldn't be what my morning 'looks' like!...because that's not the first experience I had when I woke up! First was the 'waking up craving' for a nice hot cup of sweet cream-filled coffee! :-) ... Yesssssss! A nice 'Dunkin' Donuts' coffee, with sugar and hazelnut creamer, would taste sooooooooo good right now!...But, alas, I'm not gonna get it!...Why?...Because 'Dunkin' Donuts' (the local coffee shop), and everything else around here too I might add, is closed this morning because of the holiday. 

    So instead of talking about coffee, I'll tell you about what the house smells like!...It smells like sausage...

          ...Noooooo! Not that kind of sausage!! ^_^ I'm talking about the kind of sausage you sink your teeth into and chew!! LOL.......Ummmmmmm!...Hubby is making one of his 'world class' breakfasts again this morning...Sausage, eggs, cheese grits and toast! :-)

       So what that I don't have coffee to go with it...;'_';...Okay, I won't try to put a good face on it. I REALLY want a cup of coffee!! O_O And the brand new can of 'non-instant' coffee that we were given as a gift a while back is 'not gonna cut it'!! LOL We no longer have a coffee maker! (I gave it away because we never used it! Ha! Ha!)

      Before I take off to eat though, let me show you what else my morning looks like!....

      Yep! It looks like snow!!...It apparently started falling after midnight last night...

      It's still lightly coming down right now, but you can't see it in most of these photos...As YOU know, I'm not a big fan of the 'white stuff', but I must say it does make for a nice quiet blanket on the backyard...

      It even makes hubby's barren garden area look kinda cute! :-] ... I don't know why I was so surprised to see it!....Well, yes I do! It was because for days the weather people were saying it wasn't gonna snow. Then they started the whole 'maybe we'll get some snow for Christmas' thing...which I thought they were saying because of their wishful thinking. So I dismissed it. O_O Then I wake up this morning and BAM!!!.....snow!...

     Hubby's footprints on it confirmed that it indeed was not the weather man's wishful thinking! LOL It really is snow! ^_^...I really should have known yesterday. It was a 'snow sky'...

      Anyway!...

       So that's what my morning looks like!...Peaceful....What about yours?! :-)

      By the way, hubby 'jimmied up' a cup for coffee for me. ^_^ He strained the coffee grains with a chicken grease splatter screen. LOL....That's my husband!! :-)
