'Back To You', Baby Wuglyee!

     Me and 'Baby Wuglyee' are taking a break today...to recoup. We're not feeling our best, but after a bit of rest and relaxation of the mind, we should be back to ourselves soon...Maybe even tomorrow....*Yawn*...hopefully!...See you then.

How Do You Feel About Nurses?!

           YAY!!! Strike up the band!...Jump for joy!!...Slap yo mama!!...Tell the fat lady she can sing now!!...I'm still alive!!! LOL....What?! Too dramatic?! ^_^ Okay...Okay! It's not that big of news. But I am happy to report that even though the nurse tried to turn me into a contortionist...and a human pincushion...I survived the medical tests!! :-)

       That was not fun, Y'all!...But that's no surprise to anybody that's ever had to have blood drawn and fluids taken...and who would rather have had tea in a silver cup, finger sandwiches with shrimp sticking out of the side of them, or a hammer to the head at swift speed!!..ANYTHING would have been better!...ANYTHING!!! LOL

     Oh Well, it's done!...At least this round is done....YEP! One of the tests may have to be repeated later...*sigh*...but I'm hoping not! I'll have to wait for the results of the blood-work I just had taken.

       The positive thing out of all of this....and YES! there was something positive... :-) ...is that my faith in nurses was renewed once again! :-) I love nurses! They make it 'all better' somehow with all of the smiles, chitter chatter, giggling, sincere sympathy, nurturing demeanor, hands-on comfort, and attention to detail. I felt thoroughly cared about, and cared for. :-]

      Nurses should be getting paid doctor's wages...just saying!!...They have to 'make happen' everything the doctor is too chicken to tell you that he's making them do, and explain all of the details of what the doctor told them to do to you!! ^_^ And they're the ones left to try to explain 'why'...without being disrespectful to the doctor, or showing their annoyance that they're being made to do it!!!...Oh, the conversations nurses must have about doctors and patients after they leave them!! LOL...Whatever!...They sure never let on while they're contorting and sticking you!! LOL

     On a personal note, I had to be stuck 'A LOT' yesterday! O_O By the time the nurse left me I had band-aids on my left arm, on the back of my left hand, on my right arm, and on the back of my right hand too!...which was where they finally were able to get blood from me! O_O It was a painful, slow process. But at least they were finally able to get it!...That needle seemed to be growing bigger and bigger with every new stick!!!...You ever have a baseball bat injected into your veins?!...YIKES!...NOT fun!! :-))

     On a really good note, the nurse said my temp and oxygen levels were normal. And although my blood pressure was a little low...Yatta Yatta Yatta and Blah Blah Blah...there was nothing that will stop me from singing, writing, or crocheting...So I'm good! ^_^ In fact, after I un-pretzeled myself and was able to chat with the nurse, she seemed quite pleased with my overall health!...Or she might've just been saying that because she wanted to calm me down because of the inquisitive "Am I dying" look on my face! LOL

 Only time will tell if the doctor is as happy with me too!... :-) ...after the results of my blood and fluid tests come back! So, the story is "TO BE CONTINUED"! :-)

       Yep! I found out after my doctor's appointment yesterday, that he wants a couple of other testings done now. One is bloodwork!...YUCKY!...I really don't like the needle! I have veins that are hard to get at...like my 'pleasing' personality the last couple of days!! LOL

      I'm tired...mentally overworked...and I need a nap...24/7!!! LOL

No Cutesy Title Today....Just Straight Forward!

       I was gonna try to get all cutesy with my description to try to encourage you to come over and check out the two new treasuries with items from my Wuglyees shop chosen for them...but I decided against it. I decided that there's no need to be 'cutesy'! The treasuries can speak for themselves...and you're gonna say whatever you're gonna say about them after you see them! ^_^ I can almost guarantee that the word "cute" is gonna come up though! LOL

       The 'cute' basket....Yeah "I" said it...."CUTE" basket...in the header photo gave me some ideas too! People on Etsy are such creative and 'out-of-the-box' thinkers! Why didn't I think of crocheting baskets to sit your window box plants in?! O_O I hate it when an idea is so obvious and 'cute' and I miss it!!...Oh Well!...And look at the 'cute' treasury it was in...

       It was created by oenopia. It's entitled "Natural". There are so many 'nice'...Ha! I didn't say 'cute' that time! LOL...items in this treasury. Guess What, World?..............

        ....me and Matt are both dancing today! :-)) ... I don't exactly know why Matt is doing it, but I'm dancing because I FINALLY GOT SOME SLEEP LAST NIGHT!!!!!!! ^_^ And, in fact, I'm only half awake right now! :-) Hubby said he had to wake me up 3 times this morning before I actually seemed awake! LOL 
       And...NEWS JUST IN...this bounty of sleep has confirmed what I suspected all along as to why I wasn't sleeping.....Turn your head, men......I also got my 'friend' last night!....Ugh! (Sorry if that was too much information....You know me! ^_^)....Soooo....the old lady, hormonal story, continues! Ha! Ha!

        Guess what?....I'm going back to bed. I've got a lot of sleeping to catch up on, and apparently my body wants to do it....NOW!!! :-] After I eat a little something, of course. I've got to eat! I'm sleepy....not out of my mind! LOL

NOTE TO SELF: Grab All Those Rocks You've Been Collecting, Girl...!!

     You ever have one of those times where you're just sitting somewhere and letting your mind wander, or where you're sitting somewhere trying to wrangle your mind back into control...*Teehee*...and you see something that totally grabs your attention and gets your creative juices flowing?! 
       Well, that's what happened to me last night. I was so tired from a busy, busy, day and I needed to go to bed...but my mind wouldn't slow down enough for me to put it into sleep mode. {Note to self: In your next 'spare time and mental sleepy moment', work on creating a "sleep Mode" button for humans! LOL}  
      As I was scrolling through Etsy pages, nosing around in everybody's shops, I saw this stone covered in Lace Crochet by Monicaj and it stopped me in my tracks! {Or as Mario Andretti would say: it threw my brain out of "Race" mode, and into "neutral". LOL} WOW!! It's a smooth stone covered in a little lace crochet doily...kinda!! And it's so pretty!! :-)
    Is it just me, or is this the cutest thing you ever saw?!....or, at least, the greatest idea for a paperweight you ever saw?! :-))

      Okay, so I fully admit that it was probably the flower in the middle of the lace that initially caught my attention! But when I saw that it was wrapped around this black smooth stone...I was fully invested, mentally creatively-speaking. :-))
    I had never seen anything like this before...So then I asked myself: "Is this another unique Etsy shop, or is it a trend that you are just the last one to find out about...like the "Angry Bird" thing! {Speaking of which.....WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!! Why is the bird or duck angry? Why is it okay for kids to be trained to sling them across a room? and How is it that adults are getting addicted to the video version of the game of 'Angry Bird'?!....HUH?!! O_0 I don't get it! LOL}...But I digress. :-]
       So, I went on an Etsy search for stones laced in crochet and this is what I found:

     ...Some more covered stones, this time a set of 3 Black Crocheted Lace Stones by Monicaj. In fact, she has a whole section in her shop dedicated to these...what she calls: Lacestones.

       And then I found this Bronwyn's Crochet Covered River Rock...by StitchHappens7.

     And found out that she's got a whole beautifully colored section in her shop with these crochet covered stones!
      I looked some more, and Lo and Behold...found these 3 River Pebble Stones, Nature decorated, hand made, covered with vintage lace flower motif in the shop of Mintook!

    And guess what?! She's got a section in her shop dedicated to these nature decorated stones too!
     Now my mind is reeling over all the different crochet possibilities there are for these little crochet covered stones or rocks!! And the fact that I have a ton of rocks myself{My presumed black diamonds-*Teehee*}, has me thinking that maybe I should start making some of these babies with my crocheted flowers on them for my generous friends! What do you think?! :-) Hence, the title of today's post!! LOL
    By the way, I saw something else in my search too.

     It's a Pottery Bird Feeder by JimAndGina. My backyard would look Sooooo cute with one of these hanging in it!....Okay, so it didn't have anything to do with crochet....or rocks, for that matter! But it did catch my attention! ^_^ Just goes to show you that a wandering mind gathers no moss....or a sleepy girl needs to just GO TO BED!!! LOL

I Am Plain 'Wore Out!'...And I'm Not Alone.

    I'm more than a 'WEE' bit tired this morning. And after looking at the backyard, I can see that I'm not alone! The sunflowers are trying to hold on a little while longer...Well, some of them are. (Hubby, and his eyes, were pretty tired this morning too, so forgive the un-focused camera work.)

    Now, the above ones are the ones that I consider "tired". The ones below are, just like me, just plain "wore out!"

    Poor things!...It seems like everything around here is 'wore out'! Our washing machine, all of a sudden, decided that it doesn't want to keep swishing and swashing throughout the whole wash cycle. So it stops about half way...and doesn't move until you stick your hand into the machine and turn the agitator to a particular point! UGH! Who has time for this....every load?!!
    We had the repairman come by to fix it and he says we need a new timer. "Great! How much?!"..."Only $240.00! You want me to install one?!"...."NO!!!!!!"...."Well, there's this great store where you can buy a washer called...You can get a used washer for about $150.00!"..."Thanks for telling us about that."...."No problem. That'll be $60.00 for the visit."...UGH! The washing machine is still wore out, and now I'm more worn out from that encounter!!!
  The dishwasher isn't much better! Look at what it's doing to my forks!

    I mean....SERIOUSLY?!

     Every one that comes out of there lately looks like it's been in some weird rotater battle, fighting all night for it's life!!!

    Do I want to call another repairman?...NO!!!!! Hubby and I will just have to learn how to eat sideways, or R-e-a-l-l-y slowly, so we don't start a puncture wound. UGH! and....*sigh*. I've got worn out flowers, worn out forks, hubby's worn out socks, (I'm not taking a picture of them!! I refuse!!! :-))...And trust me!...you don't want to see them!!)...AND his worn out BRAND NEW shoes!!! Yep! You heard me right! The shoes he just bought, that I blogged about last month,

     ...now have one toe part underneath that looks like this!...

     But that's not bad. Look at the sole on the other one!!!

    Completely, unequivocally, and..."stick a fork in me. I'm done!....WORN OUT!!!! UGH! I guess this goes to prove, without a doubt, that the statement: "You get what you pay for" is surprisingly TRUE!!!
   The only good thing is that he hasn't worn the other pair yet. He loved these so much that he just walked and climbed them into the ground!!! In fact, HE SAYS he didn't even realize this hole was in them until he accidentally turned them over! Seriously?!!!! How could that be?!! UGH!...
   Now I'm worn out from talking about it. Now, you know if I get tired of talking......I am truly WORN OUT!!
