Is This A Disney Film?...Or 'Tired, Run A Muck'?!!

      Why share a little wooden two drawer heart box as my header photo today?!...Uhhhh...because I could!!...And because it was too cute not to!! ^_^ Oh Yeah, and because it was something I could talk about without having to use too much brain power. :-)

      Yep!...I'm low on 'muster-ability' right now. So, I guess I should be thankful that I could muster the ability to write about 'anything' this morning!...Frankly, I almost didn't do the post!...because I was E-X H-A-U-S-T-E-D!!!!! O_O

      You were almost subjected to my husband doing the blog post instead of me, and him giving you a play-by-play of the silly conversation we were having... ^_^ ...Or should I say the silly conversation "I" was having!...He was just "Uh huh"-ing his way through it as I was rambling. LOL

      I can't remember everything I was saying, but I know it was something about the dream I had last night where the local morning show ('Good Morning America') hosts were staying with us...*like that would ever really happen!!^_^*...And 'Josh' (one of the hosts) was giving his little girl a bedtime bath and reading to her before she went to bed. :-)

      Then, in the dream, I got upset with hubby...*somehow a running theme of all of my dreams! LOL*...because when I went into the kitchen I noticed that our refrigerator and kitchen table were missing! O_O Somebody said something about him not paying the rent on them...*Uhhhh...we don't rent our refrigerator or tables! LOL*

    As I was telling hubby about the dream, a wave of exhaustion came over me, and I just kept talking...like I do! ^_^ I told him how he should write the blog this morning while I dictate it to him. LOL Here's what he would've been writing, if he had been able to keep up with me:

    "Hi Y'all...I'm so tired this morning. I almost didn't wanna write the blog this morning, but hubby is being me today. Ha! Ha!...I don't feel like being me today. I don't know who I feel like being...Hmmm...*long pause*...I think I feel like being Barbara Stanwyck...Not "Double Indemnity" Barbara Stanwyck. She was mean!...I feel like being "Big Valley" Barbara Stanwyck...

      ...I just don't have enough energy to be "Big Valley" Barbara Stanwyck...Wow! I'm really tired...*long pause*...Are you following this honey?! O_O"

     "Uh huh!"

     "What did I say?"

      "I don't know...but I got it." ^_^

      "Is that a good enough conversation to have with somebody...You know...Ooh! I'm so tired...You know, before you're pre-dead."

O_O "Pre-dead?!!"

    "Yeah....no. I mean, when you're too tired to be yourself, and don't have enough energy to be "Big Valley" Barbara Stanwyck?"

   "I think it's too late." LOL

     I'm gonna stop here, because the rest of the conversation was the 'really' silly part!! LOL And besides...I'm still tired! ^_^ The only thing left in this brain now is bills I have to pay, laundry that has to be done...

A Little Doze'll Do You!

I enjoy my sleeping, and a doze,
a nap, and such.
In fact I might enjoy a snooze
entirely waay too much!

At any time of day,
you'll find me like a weeping willow.
Head hung low and dragging,
looking for the nearest pillow.

No, there's nothing wrong.
I'm not depressed. I've still got bounce!
And I can stay awake and be
quite witty when it counts!

But I have been awake for things
when I could have been asleep.
And now my time's so valuable
I don't treat it like it's cheap.

My sleeping, dozing, napping,
is to my life a special key.
It unlocks and refreshes
and dispels anxiety!

Most people try to fill up
every hour in the day.
But me, I'd rather be asleep
and waste it all away.

There's plenty hours left
for all the flit and play and chore.
An hour for a nap right now?!
Why not?! There's 24!!

       I think I've told you all how some abstract works 'speak' to me...especially when they have color...so you won't be surprised to hear me say that looking at this beautiful piece was a sight for my tired eyes this morning!...Tired eyes...Tired fingers...Tired body...I'm just TIRED!

    I'm sure 'this too shall pass', but I'm going through another one of those 'lady's times' that's zapping every bit of my energy. The only thing I did yesterday was nap.....and crochet......nap.....crochet....watch t.v.......nap.......sleep!! LOL

     I wish I could show you some pictures of it, but trust me...you don't wanna see it anyway! LOL Instead I'll show you what tired looks like from my eyes outward...by sharing what my tired eyes feasted on when the only thing I was moving was my mouse!...These things made me feel emotionally un-tired, even though I was physically exhausted...

        There was no particular reason why these coasters caught my eye...Well, except that I would've loved having a cup of hot coffee to sit on top of them! And that they're so pretty and well-made!

       I love the scarf!!!...But, of course, it was Mr. Cutie Pie Poochie's 'mug' that was the reason my tired eyes were so smiley when I came across the photo!...After I smiled until my jaws were tired too, I looked more closely at the scarf and realized that it was a ribbed scarf! I know how to do that too! I love ribs!...even crocheted ribs! ^_^ Very pretty!

            Thanks to my computer speakers getting fixed, these dancing bears were being accompanied by music that I was listening to in my room! :-) It wasn't waltzing music though. That would've put me back to sleep! And I was TRYING to stay awake! Otherwise the days just go by!...

      Okay, I have some things to do today that I didn't get done yesterday! And a meeting tonight!...Tomorrow I'll show you what I finished...crochet-wise...and hopefully I'll be able to show you what the next Giveaway item is too! :-) I'm trying to make it something special, considering how close I am to 300 followers and all. :-)

I'm Tired!....But Before I Head Back To Bed.....!

         For those of you who get my blog in your 'Google Friend Connect' feed, I tried to give you a 'heads up' by using this header photo....I'M TIRED AND DRAGGING today. :-( Truth is...I've been tired and dragging for a few days now. All I wanna do is sleep!

      I'm having such a hard time motivating myself to 'get-the-lead-out'!...'move-it! move-it!'...or -get-a-move-on'!!! I hate to whine about it.....Okay, I usually like to whine about it. It gives me something to write about! ^_^ But I didn't wanna whine about it TODAY! What I wanted to do today is show you the next installment of things I received from my Giveaway win.....Okay, I'll still do that...since you twisted my arm! LOL

      It's a head-band! The tag says that it was hand-knitted with 100% hand-painted wool yarn by Donna Rose Derrer. I tried to find out if she had an Etsy shop, but I couldn't find it...if she has one...

       It's so well-made! And it has this gorgeous large handmade ceramic button on it too! She put a lot of work into this gift...and I'm very appreciative. :-] The tag also says that the yarn colors are called 'northern lights'...

        Greens, blues, purple, reds, browns and hints of gold. Soooo pretty! A sky full of these colors would be just breath-taking...And it's soooooo soft too! This will definitely be mine!! ^_^

      I also got a couple of things I can use in my crochet pocketbook making!...

       This one is sorta like a long pocket insert that you could use for compartments inside a purse!...I'm not sure if that was the intended purpose, but that's what I think I'm going to use it for. You know how much I hate doing pocketbook linings!! Any space that's covered...CHECK! :-))

       And who couldn't use a little extra place inside their purse to put their credit card, lipstick, change, gum, car keys, extra crochet thread......Okay, so maybe that last one is just 'me'! LOL

      Speaking of pocketbook linings though, this next gift is DEFINITELY gonna come in handy!...

      It looks like a pocketbook, but it's light-weight like a lining. Hmmm...I think that's exactly what I'll use it for!! ^_^

      I love it!! And why didn't I think of this before! If all I had to do was sew in an already made lining, I could have been in the crochet bag-making business long before now!! :-] Anyway!!...The bag comes from an Etsy shop called AStonesThrow. She has the cutest handmade and pleated bags!

      Wasn't this a great Giveaway box?! :-) And guess what?! THAT'S NOT ALL!!! I know! You can't believe it either! ^_^ There's one more post coming up tomorrow with the last of my items I won in it. Hopefully I'll be feeling well enough to show it to you. With all this exhaustion and dragging, I'm starting to think that maybe my body is trying to come down with something. :-(

      Wouldn't it just figure....as soon as hubby gets the 'all-clear'...I get sick!...*shaking my head*...Hubby had his check-up at the doctor yesterday, after being on a new cholesterol lowering drug for the last six months.....He had blood-work done last week in preparation for yesterday's visit, and after the doctor looked at the results he was amazed! 

       His cholesterol level, six months ago, was 183. As of yesterday...123!!! It dropped 60 points in only six months!! :-) Frankly, I was kinda amazed too! Especially since I've been prying pastries and fast-food from his white-knuckled fists for the last six months!! LOL He is so bad with the eating habits!...I mean, he gained 2 pounds, but his cholesterol dropped by 60 points!! It NEVER would work like that for me!! ^_^ *wheeze, wheeze...cough! cough!*

       Okay....that was a wee bit of an exaggeration. I'm not wheezing or coughing...yet! LOL The way I'm feeling though, I'm gonna have a serious 'whine'-fest going pretty soon!!! ^_^

      Before I move on and head back to my covers though, let me show you my 'secret' project that I was working on! ^_^....

       Okay...you caught me again! *Teehee* That was another wee bit of exaggeration...This is NOT my 'secret' project. This is what my secret project turned into!! LOL What it was going to be was a 'T.V. Remote Control caddy'! You know..the kind you hang over the arm of your favorite chair. The kind that will hold your T.V. remotes, pens, T.V. Guide puzzle books, and stuff like that!

       I was all into it! Then I kept having to take it apart because I kept getting the dimensions wrong...

        Then it didn't feel heavy enough. Then it wasn't colorful enough. Then it didn't look good....

        Then the 'tired' started to set in...Then it was pulled almost all apart, folded in half, some buttons was added, and WALLAH...a bracelet cuff!! ^_^

      "What are you looking at?!!" LOL...I still may work on the T.V. Remote control caddy another time. But right now....I'm tired! I'm not doing much of anything today...except sleep.

      The sweet lady that's coming to clean the house today can entertain me with the sound of the whirring vacuum cleaner! ^_^ 

      I did do something else with my brainless tired self...

        I crocheted a quick and 'Ugly' brooch hat...

       ..just because I liked the square button that was sitting there staring me in the face! :-)) Okay.....I really am tired...And this little guy sitting on the wall staring at me is not helping the situation one bit!!

        *Yawn*.....You can guess where I'm headed. I hope you all...*yawn*....have a good day!....*yawn* ......Zzzzzzzzzz!

Pooped, sucked dry,
out of gas, can't try.

What Do I Talk About When I'm Tired?! Well.....

      I talk about how nice it is to wake up in the morning, look out the window, and see sunshine, greenery, and my hummingbird feeder! :-) And, as I'm really exhausted, that may be the extent of what I do today!...Lay here and watch for hummingbirds! LOL
     I know the nice weather has a lot of people thinking of sitting near the pool, soaking up some of that long awaited sun...

       ...gardening, or just looking at the growing flowers...

     ....or just getting outdoors and.....doing something!!! LOL But me, today?!

      I'M TIRED!!!...I'm just gonna LOOK at the backyard. LOOK at the robins hopping around. LOOK at the trees and flowers.

      I'm not gonna LOOK at much news. NO MORE!!!! I LOOKED at enough of that yesterday! {That could be part of why I'm tired, in fact!} 
     That doesn't mean that I don't have anything on my mind! I mean, the French Open Tennis Tournament is upcoming!! The first rounds will start May 22nd!!

     I can't wait!!...And I also have something else on my mind. My crochet Yoyo bag. I'm hoping to get started on that this week. I'm giving deep thought to what colors I want to use in it....OKAY!! I'm just too tired to do it today!! LOL
     I got a gift of some other yarn too though. My girlfriend gave it to me. She had it for a while and has now decided that she's never going to use it, so she gave it to me!

     Any ideas about what I can THINK ABOUT making out of it?! :-))

       Clearly, it's not gonna be one of my more ambitious days. But....so what?! I've got hummingbirds to look for anyway! :-)
