Tuesday Is For Baby Music!

     Two days in a row....YAY!! ^_^ And I have something cute to share too!...baby music! :-) Cute Etsy items for baby, or about baby...and music!...Why?!...Because I came across the cutest video yesterday on Facebook and it reminded me of how much some babies....including myself when I was a baby!...love music!!

      What I remember from when I was a baby...and granted, I don't remember much from when I was a wee babe...was that I loved music!! I gravitated to it wherever it was being played. Guitar, flute, violin, tambourine, etc....WHATEVER! As long as some kind of musical note or beat came out of it!! ^_^ And this baby (below) seems to have the same sentiment! :-) ...

      Considering how many musical baby items there are on Etsy, I guess I didn't corner the market on loving music as a baby! ^_^

      Hello Y'all!...Today marks my first day getting back to a regular daily routine. I have to....I HAVE TO!! ^_^ I miss talking too much! LOL

      And I miss sharing my flowers with you....thus, the sharing of the flowers on the pretty wall hanging plaque in my header photo! ^_^

      Otherwise I've been really, really busy crocheting....for a few weeks now. I guess the weather is the reason for that!...mostly anyway. But I've also been making some crochet beaded necklaces. So, maybe it's not ALL about the weather. ^_^

      Here's the last custom order I finished:

      It was 4 crochet striped scarves and hats. :-)
 

 

      The only buttons I had to apply were to the soft pink and white hat (above)...{By the way, if you want me to make you a set, scarf and hat, in your choice of colors, just leave me a message below. Only $38 for the set, plus shipping.}

      The only other things I've been doing lately is making cookies...and hubby made cheesecake yesterday. :-) 

      Was I mad about him making the cheesecake?...NO!! ^_^ It was delicious!! But we definitely had to share it with other people! I couldn't leave all of that cheesecake in here!!!! LOL

      Okay...for today, that's it! ^_^ I'll be back tomorrow with SOMETHING else! Who knows what!! I'm just playing it by daily ear at this point. :-)) Have a good day, Everybody!! ♥

What Have I Been Up To?...Crunch Time!!

      I know...it's a dirty trick for me to be tempting you with my peanut butter chocolate chip coconut almond cookies!! But hey!...it works!!! LOL I haven't been posting much lately, and I wanted to see if anybody would still come by to read what I was writing...and here you are!! ^_^
      I'm in a talking mood this morning, and I was in a baking mood yesterday. Let's roll with the 'good' while we got it, right?! :-) ... As to my cookies, I could've eaten that peanut buttery yummy dough just as it was after I mixed it up!...

      It looked SOOOOO GOOD!!!...but I reminded myself that it had raw eggs in it, and that my cookies taste much better when they're golden brown and crispy, with those fabulous old-fashioned fork marks dipped in sugar up on top! ^_^

      It was well worth the wait for them to be done!! ^_^ 

      And just in case you're wondering, it's my own recipe! :-) I'll give it to you...my blog followers...if you let me know you want it and send me an email address.

      Baking isn't the only thing I've been doing lately...as you no doubt know already!!...I modified this necklace a bit...

      In other words, I changed the crochet flower. :-) I had a much bigger and chunkier flower on it, and I changed to a small one, one and a half inch, black and white flower. It makes the necklace look much chic-er. {Is 'chic-er' even a word?! LOL} 

      With all of the chic detail...black and clear sparkly crystals, and decorative spacers and everything...I think it'll be much prettier to wear now. :-)
 

      I've also been making hats! :-) The one below is one of my crochet tube hats...
 

      It's burgundy, with a black thread crocheted along with it...just because I like the look of it with the black thread. :-)

      Thanks to a great customer's idea...."Hey, Kelly!!" :-) ...I made it with stripes on the edge, and with a sports team colors inspiration...the Green Bay Packers football team for this one. :-) 

      I already have plans to make ones with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys colors!...as soon as I finish all of my custom orders I'm working on right now....By the way, you can wear this tube hat in different ways too if you want. :-)
 

      It works for skiers too...just saying. It's very warm! ^_^

      The necklace below is another custom order I recently finished...
 

      Oh! I could tell you some stories about how I think I'm going blind from looking at seed beads and jump rings...but I'll spare you!! LOL
 

      Besides, the look on my customer's face when they saw the work I put into it was priceless! :-) 

      I'll actually be making more seed bead flower necklaces too soon! ^_^ I love the mixed medium of glass beads and crochet flowers. :-)
 

      Last, but not least...for today anyway! ^_^...I wanted to show you a couple of the hooded scarves I made...
 

      They were suppose to be for a customer, but the customer no longer had the money for them, so she decided that she didn't want them anymore! Grrrrr!...So they're available for sale in my Wuglyees shop now!

      So, that's what I've been up to! ^_^ I've also been making some decisions...like, for instance, I miss blogging daily, and I'm gonna be going back to it very very soon!! It may not be very long posts most of the time, but I just miss having the routine of 'spilling my brain' every day! ^_^ I've got all kinds of poems, music, ideas, and just general STUFF, floating too loosely in this cranium!! LOL
      One of the ideas I'm working on is selling some 'loose-leaf' type booklets of my poetry. I'm already sorta, kinda, working on it. You'll see the 'come-together' of it when it...comes together!! LOL
       In the meantime, I'm getting ready for the 'Superbowl'! {football, People!! ^_^} I'm crocheting 4-sets of custom-ordered hats and scarfs. And I'm sipping on green tea while eating waaaaaay too many peanut butter chocolate coconut almond cookies!!! LOL It's a good thing all of my friends are picking up their cookies today!...That's why I made them, by the way, as gifts of love to those who have been giving me so much love lately. ♥ 6 dozen cookies!!!!...and I'll be down to ZERO around noon today!! ^_^

I live my life every day,
