When Was The Last Time......?!

      It's 4:00 a.m. in the morning as I'm typing this, and I could sure use a happy mug full of hot coffee right about now!! ^_^ Although, I almost can't remember when the last time was that I actually 'had' a cup of coffee. I'm such a green tea 'aficionado' now! :-))

      In fact, coffee isn't the only thing it's been a long time since happening around here!...It's also been a long time since hubby was sick, but guess what?....Yep!...he's sick right now! Thankfully it seems to be just a cold. He has a sore throat, a slight fever with chills, and has to be forced to drink water, take his vitamins, and relax!...Well, the other stuff besides his sore throat and fever are just him being him! LOL But the other stuff having to do with the cold is clearly no fun for him.

      He went to work yesterday though....YES HE DID! (shaking my head)...All mopey and in 'slow-mo'. ^_^ I tried to get him to take the day off, but you know how that is...telling a working husband that he needs to stay home from work for a day 'when people need him'!! ^_^ So I relegated myself to being 'nagging wife' by yelling about chicken soup, drinking his water and fluids, and vitamin C!! :-)) ... And it worked!... *Check one... ✔ ... for nagging, loving, wives everywhere!! ^_^*

      He's feeling better this morning. He just got up. "Good Morning, Honey!" :-) Now I can move on to some other things it's been a while since I did...like looking at stuff in my activity feed on Etsy! ^_^ ...

      Sorry I missed my blog post yesterday. I have no excuse...except forgetfulness! ^_^ I kept thinking about doing it at different intervals yesterday, and then...kept putting it off because I knew that linking the shops was gonna take me a bit of time. And then...next thing you know...Saturday turned into Sunday, and the moment had passed! O_O

      I didn't want the moment to pass today though, so I'm up at five...a.m.!...on this Sunday morning, linking and talking about my Etsy finds like a big ole mature, non-procrastinating adult!! ^_^

Upsets And Blackness!!

      In light of the dark skies we're experiencing right now, I decided to go with black for today's post. ^_^ Besides...I don't have anything else to go on and on about! LOL...except for tennis. :-)) Speaking of which, there's a spoiler alert coming up below!...Anyway, in light of the dark skies I decided why not share Etsy's cute 'dark'...'black'...items?! :-)

      The shawl pattern in the header photo really got my creative juices flowing! Isn't it pretty?! It made me think that maybe that's what my next big crochet project should be....Not this particular shawl, but 'A Shawl'. And maybe 'a black shawl'. :-] ... After I finish a couple of other small projects, that is.

      I'm thinking about maybe bundling some of my lapel pins and boutonnieres into four to seven piece packages, instead of the one-a-piece way I'm selling them right now. Something!! The shop is as quiet as a mouse!!...sorta, kinda. :-)) I have to find some way to get my sales moving again!! O_O I'll be working on that on this dark day.

      ...this black dress really caught my eye! Not just because it's black, but because of the interesting way it's cut...with the one sleeve, on a kind of halter dress!...Soooo creative! (Although personally I would go crazy with just the one long sleeve! It's a symmetrical thing. My brain would be yanking at the other missing sleeve all night! LOL)

      I would have no problem what-so-ever with sitting in this though! :-) ...

      So, what is your weather like today?!...And what are your plans in it?! ^_^ My plans are to watch more tennis, and drink a cup of coffee!! ^_^ SPOILER ALERT: I already watched two matches this morning. Venus and Serena Williams both had matches that, if they won them, would put them into the third round...playing each other!! ^_^ YAY! right?!....WRONG! O_O They both were upset!!!!...Venus won her first set, and then politely got 'whooped' for the next two! :-( ...Then Serena's match started, and YIKES!!! O_O The girl 'put the beat-down' on Serena! It was the worst beating I've ever seen her get!! O_O

      Venus lost to 19-year-old Anna Schmiedlova, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. I had never even seen her play before! She was new to me. But not any more!! :-] I'll be watching for her in other matches now. She's good!!

      And Serena lost to Garbine Muguruza, in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2!! O_O It was a young lady that I have seen play before, but never the way she played today!! She just 'ran over' Serena!!

      So congratulations to Anna Schmiedlova and Garbine Muguruza!!! YOU GO GIRLS!!! ^_^ ... Now?...COFFEE!!!! ^_^

I'm Up.....I'm Kinda Here.....And I'm OUT!

       I know it's not morning everywhere YOU are, but it's morning here....EARLY morning! And Oh! I sure wish I had a cup of coffee the size of a bathtub!! LOL

      I had another one of those nights....sleepless. I've been UP trying to go DOWN ever since around 12:30 a.m.!!!!! O_O Yes, I did get SOME sleep. About an hour or so, if you string all of the minutes together!....UGH!...And my poor hubby was trying his best to help me out...he gave me back rubs...foot rubs...toted me water...emptied the trash can...(because once you're up and can't go down, everything that might be on your mind as something that needs to be done...needs to be done NOW!...Whenever 'now' is!! ^_^)

     Maybe it was the mental juice I got when hubby and I started going through, and laughing at, some of our old pictures...We're trying to figure out what we wanna do for our 30th anniversary...As a project for our 'Date Night', we did some Vlogging (video blogging) about some of the photos. You can see them on our 'couples blog -->  HERE.

    Thankfully, besides reruns of 'Storage Wars', I had crocheting to keep me company through the night! :-] ... This is one of my latest 'babies'...

       It's a kind of cornflower blue and orange, with a gun metal chain and a similar button...

      It's another tiny one. I may list it in the shop today. I already listed two of my newer tie-dyed necklaces last night...Striking while the iron is hot, so to speak. Or while the eyes are still open! LOL

       I have a meeting this morning, so I HAVE to keep my eyes open at least for that!....I'm not making any promises after that! Although this ring (below) is inspiring me...

No, But Really!....It's Good News!!

         It's another beautiful Fall morning in Massachusetts....

             Ahhhhhh!....Hubby took these photos when he went out on a run for me early this morning.  -_o I'll tell you about that in a minute, but first....I was in such a hurry yesterday that I forgot to tell you my good news! 

      Two things actually...One, my favorite scarf from my Wuglyees shop sold yesterday! :-]  The Candy Corn one! (below) {I don't know if you'll be able to see the actual link to it...but I included it anyway.}...

       If you saw my shop,...before my new banner that is,..you would know what a fan I am of orange. And this candy corn scarf showed my love of orange....and my love of candy corn...just saying! ^_^

        ...even though, in this scarf, I substituted the yellow for the brown!

      I've got a few other things on my "To Make" list, but I'm definitely gonna put some form of these colors together again.

        The other good news happened this morning. Etty2504 included an item from my Wuglyees shop in her new treasury...

       ...It was my Classic Black and White Glass Teardrop Crochet Button Dangle Necklace....WHEW! (I know....that's a lot of name for a necklace! But I'm battling 'SEO' for recognition....Gotta 'pump up the volume'! LOL)

      SAPPY ALERT!...The 'other' other good news is that hubby has been on vacation all week and I'm really enjoying his company. :-) No one makes me smile or laugh the way he does...And he's really good to have around as a 'Go-pher' too! LOL...You know....Go for this...and Go for that!! ^_^

       Hmmmmm...He found a long line at this stop though! I guess I'm not the only one needing a 'run' this morning! ^_^ 

      Oh No!! He definitely had to go inside! I couldn't wait this long!!!....*giggle*
     Alright, I'll get back to that......So, what have we been doing with our time?! Well, hubby and I have been playing Scrabble on a regular. {I been beating the socks off of him y'all!!! ^_^} And we've been getting some things done around the house that have been needing to get done for a while.
      Doesn't someone out there wanna pay my husband to stay at home?! ^_^ Just a small paycheck, because we don't need much...just a roof over our head, some night-gowns and pajamas every once in a while, and some occasional chocolate and candy corn.....That's all! LOL
      Oh Yeah.....and an occasional coffee! ^_^ Yep! I got me a cup this morning!!...

       Okay, so you found me out! ^_^ I woke up with a need for a 'cuppa' Dunkin' Donuts coffee this morning!

      It was kinda empty inside. Everybody was outside in the line! ^_^ They probably had all of the kids in the car, had their pajamas on, and had their pink curlers in their hair....What? You never left the house in a rush?! ^_^

       Nobody was standing at the juice refrigerator  either.  They were all waiting for their morning 'Cuppa' Joe, either in that ridiculously long line outside, or inside.....

      ...Where there was only one guy standing between hubby and his waiting wife! ^_^

      "Hello, Joe!" :-) ... And good news for me....it was steaming hot! And hubby brought me a chocolate chip cookie...a big one!...to go with it! :-) Come on!! Doesn't someone wanna pay hubby to stay at home?!! ^_^ Have a good day everybody!!


I Like A Cuppa

Wanna Know What I Was Doing 'While You Were Sleeeping'??!

          I think the summer is finally really gone...around here anyway. It's Autumn scenery, Autumn weather, and an Autumn mood that's taken over...and I've got it! Not in a bad way either. I'm feeling very creative and like I need to be making something...N-O-W!!! :-]

       I've especially noticed that all the bits and pieces of leftover bundles of yarn are bugging me to no end! I find that when I sit anywhere near it my leg starts to jump....{that could be a spasm though. Just saying! LOL}...and my fingers start moving uncontrollably in the air, as if I'm knitting or crocheting something! ^_^

     The colors I have left hanging around though, don't have any rhyme or reason to them...until I put them into a 'Wuglyee' scarf that is! :-) This is the one I made yesterday... Yes....MADE!...

           In fact, I was gonna show it to you on Headless Tina (my mannequin, for those of you new here), but it's raining again...like it did all day yesterday. {That spitty, "I-don't-like-you" kinda rain. LOL}

         As you can see, it's got all kinds of colors in it! Reds, browns, blues, some gold...

         It's even got some greens in it! :-)

       It kinda looks to me like an Irish plaid or something...I found this Tartan plaid wrap in a shop called irish1010 on Etsy to show you what I mean...

        See all those beautiful bold colors!...Okay, so I know it's not for everybody. But by now, if you don't know anything else about me, you know that I'm not a girl whose afraid of color! :-)

     I have issues with an arthritis-aggravating constant rain, a hormonal lack of sleep, and an ever-growing affection for coffee...which I have got to do something about!...tomorrow, not today! ^_^...but I'm not afraid of color!!

      If the rain stops, I'll have hubby dress Tina up in my new boldly colored CIRCLE scarf...Yes I did!!! LOL...and show it to you witin the next couple of days. :-)

     In other news, I'm having a hard time figuring out what to Giveaway this time. O_0 I've noticed lately that I'm not getting a lot of entries for my Giveaways. Now, one of three things must be happening:

1. You're all sick to death of my yarn creations,...

2. I'm not making everyone enough aware of the Giveaways, or...

3. You guys and girls don't need anything, and would rather focus on giving your own beautiful creations away! :-)

      Which is it people?!! LOL If it's number one....I can handle it! (sobbing uncontrollably right now! LOL) If it's number two...do you think a little reminder at the end of every post would help?! And if it's number three...let me know so I can come and enter your Giveaways and don't have to keep photographing mine! ^_^

       Hubby is hoping it's not number one or number three. He's still determined to get all of my stuff beautiful creations out of this house, and out of his way! ^_^ He's on vacation this week. Maybe I'll be able to get him to take it all to a craft fair or something...and sell it all!! :-) If so, that'll be the end of my regular Giveaways! I'll just Giveaway something every once in a while......and STOP CLAPPING!! LOL

       Lastly, to entertain ourselves, hubby and I are thinking about starting a blog that we post in once a week as a couple. What do you think?!....And this week, we're gonna try to do a blog post video of him and I answering your questions...if we get enough questions to answer, that is! ^_^ So, if you have any questions for hubby and I, as a couple or as individuals, leave the question in the comments below.

     Oh Yeah, I also created my own banner for my Wuglyees Etsy shop! Check it out HERE and tell me what you think!...I couldn't sleep last night, so I went online and played around with my photos on Picassa and the idea came to me to try doing it.....Okay, it wasn't totally my idea alone. Hubby helped!..Thanks honey. :-)

      And I didn't create the original banner. I got it from Mariann of littlefoxphotos. It was a 'SALE' banner she made for me. And since I hardly ever do sales in my shop anymore...(never sold one thing doing it!)...I just altered it a little and put my Wuglyee bear on it! :-) My shop looks so different now! I like it and I'm getting used to it though. :-)

       Okay, off to get me some breakfast, and a cup of coffee....*shaking my head*....I know......!!...Have a good rest of the day everybody! :-)
