A Nap, Mustard, And All That Kind Of Stuff!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/196999735/duvet-cover-deep-ocean-blue-coastal?ref=favs_view_2

This duvet cover almost talked to me last night when I saw it! It was saying: "Napping......under water, sorta kinda......YES"! ^_^

https://www.etsy.com/listing/196999735/duvet-cover-deep-ocean-blue-coastal?ref=favs_view_2

What a wonderful way to combine bedding with photography with napping! :-] And I have one out of the three things mastered!...Guess which one! LOL

If you're looking for a 'cutesy' all pulled together blog post....uhhhh...sorry! :-)) This is not that blog!!...This blog is just a mish-mosh of things that are on my mind to mention, before I forget! ^_^ Unfortunately I've been doing a lot of that lately...forgetting, I mean.

      So here goes...

https://www.etsy.com/treasury/Mzk5Njg3ODZ8MjcyNDQyNTQwMQ/mustard?index=0&ref=l2&atr_uid=

My little lapel pin was chosen for Shlomit's Etsy treasury!! :-) I was flattered and thankful. My little lapel pins don't see the light of day much anymore...

https://www.etsy.com/listing/181204764/tiny-clutch-back-lapel-pin-1-inch?ref=shop_home_active_11

I haven't been making many of them because I have soooooo many still in my 'expire' section of my shop! :-( I really need to start selling some things or else my whole reason for being online is gonna go away!
I wouldn't be doing this much talking online if it wasn't for my wuglyees Etsy shop...I don't think. I mean, who wants to hear me going on and on about what I had for breakfast and what animals are in my backyard, without an occasional crochet project or showing off some of my fellow Etsian's shop items?!....Huh?!
      Let's see!....Yesterday I ate a lot of these...

...and over the weekend I watched a lot of football...

...and after the rooms were rearranged, my crochet projects all had a nice place to reside. :-] Even Shequita (my bald head model) had a place to hang out!! ^_^

Wait a minute! O_O I started talking about crochet stuff, didn't I?!.....So, there you go! I cannot talk without mentioning crocheting!...And a normal 'Wug' day, that would also include  napping, poetry, or music! :-) So, needless to say...I need to get-to-selling some stuff, or else I'm gonna have to change some things!...It's very expensive paying taxes, fees, and buying yarn, when I'm not selling anything!!!

Oh Yeah...here's one of the 'Ugly Wuglyee' scarves I'm working on right now! ^_^

Okay...time for a nap! ^_^ Have a good rest of the day, Everybody!! ♥

A Pause....For Some Other Stuff I Like!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/173872859/typography-print-tote-bag-but-first?ref=favs_view_5

       I'm taking a pause from tennis...Australian Open tennis...WOOHOO!!! ^_^...Or I should say, I'm taking a pause from talking to YOU about tennis! :-) I saw a few things on Etsy that I wanna share!...but first...coffee! :-)
I love that bag (in the header photo)! It's such a great sentiment. Especially for someone who is having jet lag...without ever getting on a jet! ^_^...because of changing my sleeping pattern to watch tennis. :-) Yes, I could watch it during the day. They replay all of the matches on 'The Tennis Channel'. But I like to watch my tennis LIVE!! ^_^ So...3 a.m. to early morning....I'm on it!! ^_^
So, before I go to bed!...LOL...let me show you the cuties from Etsy!...

I could find a place in my wardrobe, and house, for every single piece!! :-) I'm partial to the watch and earrings though...just saying....in case my hubby is looking. ^_^
Pause Over! :-) Back to my regularly scheduled viewing...without the talking....for now! :-)) Have a good day, Everybody! ♥

This Reminds Me Of 'Show And Tell"!!!

I'm probably gonna date myself with this post, but do any of you remember back when you were in Elementary School (if this was something your country did), when they use to have 'Show and Tell' day?! I used to love it! It was always an experience getting to see what other people were interested in.
Well, just looking around Blog land is like that for me sometimes. You all are a very interesting and crafty bunch! :-) I wanna show you and tell you about a couple of people...and I have something to show you of mine too. But first, just look at the photos from two blogs that I read regularly. One is Vicki's blog, 2 Bags Full. Her and her husband took these photos on their recent trip to Sulphur Mountain...
They're breath-takingly beautiful photos! And these few are only a 'drop in the bucket'. You have to go HERE and see the rest!! When you read her descriptions you'll see how good she must have been at 'Show and Tell'. :-)

Another blogger who's a great photographer is Kamana, of Journalling Through Photos blog. Her photos of the islands, with sandy beaches, sun and fun, are also usually quite breath-taking. But this photo on her blog got to me the other day! :-) ...
It's full of the "Awwwwwwww!-factor". ^_^ So sweet!...But this photo is only a 'drop in the bucket' of all of the photos she shares too. You can go by her blog almost any time for beautiful photos HERE.

I could be here all day...sincerely...because y'all are such interesting and creative people. But I'll stop there...for now...and show you what I was working on all day yesterday...
I know!...you're thinking Yawn!, Yawn! Another soft blue headband. ^_^ ...I forgive you! LOL
But this one is a little bit different. My creative juices were pulled into play when my friend 'Bead' (Cindy) received the Giveaway headband for her granddaughter and mentioned that it kept sliding up on her head...even though she wore it and didn't mind anyway. :-) Little cutie!
I contemplated what 'Bead' said about maybe making a thinner section in the back. I didn't want to make a section TOO thin, because I make my headbands to cover the ears in the cold weather. But she did make me realize that there could be a slight adjustment made.

Meet 'The Ponytail Headband'! :-)

In the front it looks exactly as it did before, with the ridges, the crochet flower...

       ...and my vintage button.

But in the back of it now...

...I scrunched it up some. :-) I made it so that if you have a ponytail, or you want to wear the headband with your hair over it, instead of under it, you can!

I'm gonna have fun with this one I think! :-) I have to say though, this makes the crocheting of them a whole lot more work! So I don't know how many of them I'll make. What do you think of it?!

     Wheeeeeeee! ^_^

So there you go. I showed you...and I told you! :-) ... I also can tell you that my hubby is home on vacation with me. YAY!!! He's already made me breakfast in bed...grits, English muffins, bacon, and eggs, with a green tea chaser! LOL
We also stayed up late last night and I beat him in a game of Scrabble. :-) Ha! Ha!...But it was only by about 20 points! O_O He's getting better! I have to really pay attention now!!
We've got a bunch of things on our "To Do" list for the week...including reorganizing and regulating some things in our lives. I'm looking forward to having my buddy underfoot. :-]
       Okay...off I go! Have a good day Everybody!! :-)

It's A Lemon/Lime Kind Of Monday!

Hello Everybody! I hope you had a good weekend,....but it's Monday!! The start of another prelude to a weekend. {I look at things my own way! LOL} And since Mondays, after a good weekend, can be kind of tough, I thought a bright, cheery, lemon/lime-ade kind of start to the week was in order. So.....here's my ode to a lemon/lime kind of good week moving forward!! Starting with the Juice-Felt Rose Flower Grapevine Wreath by KnockKnocking in the header photo.

Speaking of juice, how about this Tangerine Frosted Pitcher and Tumbler Set by ClubChartreuse!
It's a perfect set for the summer, right?! Well, so are all of these other things I'm gonna share with you now. Be prepared to be Lemon/Limed to the 'eenth' degree!! ^_^

      A medium-sized lime-colored Bangle by BlackbirdChic.

Some Citrus Fruit hand painted magnetic Clothespin Set by SugarAndPaint.

A Lemon/Lime Crochet Kleenex Tissue Cover by YCAF.

Citrus Trio Hair Pins (in green, yellow and orange) by foreverandrea.

ShireKat yarns (dyed to order) by yarns2dye4.

      Butterfly Earrings by MoonWillowJewelry.

Yellow Poppy Fine Art Photography by AnneSolfud.

Lemon Yellow Chalcedony Lotus Petal Custom Earrings by madebysam.

And last, but not least, this decorative over-sized Lemon-Lime Switch Plate by upcyclecreate.

So....are you feeling cheerier?! Energized to start your week?! Peppy?! Smiley?!....Like you need something to cut all of the sugar?! LOL Okay! Okay!...Well, I tried anyway! :-)
Please go by these shops and see all of the cute things they have besides these few I shared here. And go create some stuff of your own so I can share yours next time. You are a pretty crafty bunch! And I'm always looking you know! ^_^
And now I'm off to do some creating of my own....now that I don't have to sit and hold my finger on the camera button trying to catch a picture of my hummingbirds! :-] I think they're happy about that too! They've been in and out of here like crazy!! I guess they figure there's no reason to play coy anymore. I already got 'em!!! ^_^
Have a good day Everybody!!! :-)

ARTery Craft Show in Northanpton Massachusetts

As you guys know, I don't have a good track record as a "Team" player. Not on purpose, but for some reason whenever I have associated myself with a "group" to promote my business...something went wrong. That didn't stop me from trying again though. The Artisans of Western Mass was my recent "try".
If I'm being honest I have to say that I'm still not sure it's a good fit for me. That has nothing to do with them though! They are amazingly organized in the local Massachusetts area, and they are a wonderful group of down to earth people. It's just that they are very much centered around craft shows and exhibits and so forth of which I can't attend.
I found out from one of the group members this weekend though, relayed to me through my hubby who attended one of their craft shows in Northampton Mass, that they have meetings that are 'skyped' (some kind of online LIVE videoing system...I think) and at times will put items in a show from those not physically able to be there! How wonderful is that?! I've definitely got to look into that more.
But anyway, hubby met quite a few of my fellow group members. He took pictures of them and their items.  I'm going to show you the pictures, with their websites on them (added by me), and with a poem I wrote just for this occasion! Here goes....

If there's anybody still here...*giggling*...let me just say, I'm going to try to be a better group member. First, I've got to figure out how to stop missing my emails, and figure out how to know what's going on at the meetings, and get familiar with the Facebook website, and check out all of the other group member's websites, and.........*sigh* It's very hard and very tiring being a good team player.  :-)
