You Probably Don't Care, But......!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/100603965/crochet-pattern-ladies-crochet-slippers?ref=favs_view_2

Today's post is gonna be cut and dried...sorta kinda. :-] All I'm gonna do is show off a few items that caught my eye on etsy today. There will be no bacon, eggs, and pancakes. No new artsy crochet hats...*that's for tomorrow maybe! ^_^*...No long conversations about........nothing! :-) Aren't you happy?!!...You stop that nodding of your head up and down!! LOL

https://www.etsy.com/listing/190749913/womens-socks-slipper-socks-heart-socks?ref=favs_view_7

Anyway! :-) ... While you're looking at these adorable items I'll take the opportunity to tell you a couple of random things. Like, for instance, that my mother-in-law is back home now. She had to go on a long journey south to her sister's funeral. She passed away last week. :-( She was driven there by my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. It was very loving of them to take the time offfrom their jobs to get her there...especially considering that storm 'Hektor' gave them a few problems when they were coming back through the Virginia area! O_O
Now that they're back though, I'm sure everybody is physically tired, mentally exhausted, and looking for the first stationary pillow they can find to lay their heads on!...and, of course, a little  sumthin' sumthin' to throw in their mouths!! ^_^ Roadside eateries have much to be desired in the way of real sustenance! ^_^

https://www.etsy.com/listing/119217569/seaglass-earrings-water-blue-lampwork?ref=favs_view_8

Just for ha has, I took a little nap and ate a little sumthin' sumthin' today too! ^_^...but it was just my normal routine! LOL I didn't take a long trip anywhere...unless you call the crochet trip in my mind 'anywhere'! :-)) I'm working on three...count 'em...THREE crochet hats all at the same time right now!! ^_^ The reason is because I got bored waiting for hubby to find the 'persimmon' colored yarn...*why is it that stores are always out of the exact thing you're looking for...just saying?!!*...so I started a purple hat, and a sunshine yellow one too! ^_^ And then the persimmon yarn came!...Now I'm working on three of them!! LOL

https://www.etsy.com/listing/217437600/big-handmade-plush-whale-stuffed-animal?ref=favs_view_6

Okay...lastly, is anyone else watching 'Downton Abbey'?!! O_O I am just amazed at where the storyline is going this season! It's clearing up some things, but making me worry about some other things!! LOL Good thing it's just a tv show. It's just a tv show. It's just a tv show!! LOL What can I say?....Oh, I know! I can say it's not tennis or football!! ^_^ Stay tuned on the tennis front though. The Australian Open is coming in about a week! Woohoo!!!!! :-)
Okay...nighty night! Or have a good rest of your day, Everybody!! ♥

You Probably Don't Care!

I know you probably don't care,
but I will tell you anyway!
I mean, I have to talk about it.
It's what I do most every day!

I know you have your own things going,
and my things? You could care less.
But I have to spill it, talk,
share, converse, chat, or confess.

Don't you have some days like that,
when you just 'let down your hair'?
Well, today was that for me,
and it's okay if you don't care!

As you see, it didn't stop me.
I'm still talking, cracking wise.
You don't have to read about it.
You can cover up over your eyes!

Goodbye Melbourne......Hello East Rutherford, New Jersey! :-)

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151978019186026&set=a.456161351025.251362.64822581025&type=1&theater

It's another Monday. A day following a great sports weekend for me. And a great 'virtual' date weekend too! ^_^ We went to Africa and looked at animals and played in the water. Then we popped over to Australia to see the women and men's singles finals of the Australian Open tennis matches. :-)
In that sense, it was a great weekend...except for some moments of sadness.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152223341533615&set=a.165541748614.147377.48160623614&type=1&theater

Rafael Nadal's moments of sadness were different from mine though. 'Baby Boy' was sad because once again an injury stopped him from being able to play to his full capacity. Although, frankly, I'm not sure his full capacity could have stopped him from being beaten this year! Stan was on fire!!!...I'll tell you more about that in a minute.
First I wanna mention my moments of sadness. :-( I thought of my friend Nancy all weekend. (Her memorial talk will be this coming weekend.) :-( I thought about how much she liked to have fun, and travel....And I also thought about what a spiritual woman she was, and how she threw her everything into doing things for people. And how sad her former Bible students would be when they heard of her death. :-(
Thankfully it was only moments of sadness though. Somehow whenever my mind would drift to a sad moment,  it would be followed by a happy or funny moment...like when her and I went pre-wedding shower shopping for negligees for her daughter. ^_^ Oh!...we had so much fun in that store!!!!
And in between all of the 'moments' there was tennis. :-] ...

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152220987373615&set=a.165541748614.147377.48160623614&type=1&theater

I saw Li Na raise the woman's singles trophy, after beating Dominika Cibulkova in straight sets.

And I saw Stanislaw Wawrinka, the 'Stanimal' he is now being called, beat my 'baby boy', Rafael Nadal, 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in his very first Grand Slam title!! :-] And although I would have liked a different outcome, I have great respect for a good player. And Stan is a great player!!...In fact, he was putting the royal 'beat-down' on my baby boy even before the injury!
So congratulations to Stan!! :-) ...

Enjoy your victory!...for this year! ^_^ You absolutely deserve it!!! (By the way, if you wanna go to the Facebook page that the photos above came from, just click on the photos themselves.)

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152225170433615&set=ms.10152225171373615.10152225170493615.10152225170433615.10152225170498615.10152225170608615.10152225170703615.10152225171053615.10152225171383615.10152225171388615.10152225171478615.bps.a.10152225170278615.1073741921.48160623614&type=1&theater

With no more tennis to cloud my view, I have to move on to other sports! ^_^ And thankfully there's no shortage of sports to worry about! :-)) Next weekend is the Superbowl...football!!!! (American football...Not soccer, which is called football in other countries.)
I'm already packing my bags for East Rutherford, New Jersey, where the Superbowl is being held this year. And I'm setting aside Superbowl finger-food and slider recipes for game day!! ^_^ It almost feels like the weekend already!!! ^_^ ... But it's NOT!! It's Monday. And don't I know it people!!! :-)) I'm like the white rabbit in 'Alice In Wonderland' already this morning...."I'm late! I'm late!...for a very important date!!" LOL
I have some studying to do...a brooch to crochet...a package to ship out...my hair needs washing...etc....Monday stuff!...YIKES!!..Have a good day, Everybody!! See you tomorrow! ^_^

I only have one brain

There have been times when I felt I needed
an extra brain to remember some stuff.
An extra 'noggin' to handle the chaos,
when my life and my schedule got tough.

A much bigger cranium for non-essentials;
Somewhere to go when my brain wants to bail.
An extra universe inside my skull space,
where I could place all my 'Mental Junk Mail'.

But, knowing my thinking, there's no use
having two places for my mind to stretch.
Two places to toss around ideas.
Just more balls of ideas I can't catch!

My one brain is an occupied scramble.
A pink-celled, forgetful and frustrated mess!
Do I need another brain somewhere,
holding problems that I must address?

No, I have enough things to focus on.
Things so confusing and numerous to do.
So it's a good thing I only have one brain!
What in the world would I ever do with two!

Kangaroos On My Fingernails?!

https://www.etsy.com/listing/174482141/green-gold-kangaroo-nail-art-wraps-water?ref=favs_view_2

What do kangaroos on your fingernails say about you?!....They say that you really love either kangaroos...fingernail art...or Australia! ^_^ But considering that yesterday was the beginning of the Australian Open tennis tournament, I'd say that if you were wearing kangaroos on your fingernails while sitting in a very large sports arena in Australia, with ball boys crouching and running back and forth along a net, I'd say you love TENNIS!! :-)
I'm not really a kangaroos-on-my-fingernail type of girl, but I do love tennis! ^_^ So I understand kangaroo nail art...in Australia...while you're watching a tennis match!! ^_^ It's subtle, considering some of the outfits Aussie tennis fans have worn!! LOL
I'm already up at five O'clock (a.m.), watching Serena Williams play someone I've never seen play before, Barty...I don't even know her first name...yet. And before I went to bed I watched Venus Williams lose :-( ... and Djokovic win :-) their first round matches. I think it's gonna be a great tournament...and a welcome distraction to the end of a long week and weekend.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/174087151/australian-open-tennis-sports-art-poster?ref=favs_view_3

This is the time of year when I have to put a sports disclaimer on the blog. :-) Please forgive my distraction over the next couple of weeks. There may be lots of tennis talk...football and basketball jargon...and who knows what other kind of sports updating!...and a sad lack of crocheting going on! ^_^
And my 'Friday date night' destination is already decided...on a Monday! LOL...

https://www.etsy.com/listing/114654570/melbourne-australia-vertical-skyline-8-x?ref=favs_view_1

In the middle of January, with 40 or 50 degree weather in Massachusetts, and no more snow in my backyard, (it was totally washed away by torrential drenching rain all day the day before yesterday) where else would I go besides Australia?!! ^_^ ... And who else would I bring along for the ride besides my hubby, but YOU...some of my favorite listeners and readers! :-)
Have a good week, Everybody! :-]

My Favorite People

My favorite people listen well,
and talk almost as good.
They like to eat good food,
and hang out in my neighborhood.

They like a chuckle now and then,
and dance when music's played.
And give nice complements...
and no! they haven't all been paid!

Some 'favorite people' are, I'm sure,
still ones I haven't met.
But until then, my favorites are
ones owed a 'loving' debt.

They've loved me through some heartache,
and the hardest, roughest time.
They're my favorites for a reason,
and deserve this 'Debbie' rhyme.

Lights....Camera...Hook....Ball....and Eye!!

No surprise as to what I'm gonna talk about this morning, right?! ^_^ The Australian Open is almost over. There's only one more championship match to play...Novak Djokovic versus Andy Murray. That match will be tonight. Or should I say in the morning...because we'll get the match at 3 a.m in the morning!
3 a.m. was what time I was awake this morning to see Li Na...

        ...versus Victoria Azarenka...

(The photos of the match are all from the Australian Open page on Facebook --> HERE.)

What a good...wild...wacky....match it was too!...An ankle sprain, a head whack with question of a concussion, a ten minute delay for fireworks, and a boo-ing crowd! O_O Wild.....wacky!
But the tennis was fabulous!!....Let me just say right now that if you don't wanna know who won........click away from the page NOW! ^_^ ...It's what one of the female commentators would affectionately refer to as "Big Babe Tennis!"...In other words, two heavy hitting, talented female players whacking away at the ball! :-)
Oh! The angles!.....Oh! The power!....Oh! The unexpected!! O_O It went three sets, and the whole time you could've held your breath! Sooooo good!...except when Li Na fell and twisted her ankle, and then later in the match...she fell again!, seemingly to avoid twisting the other ankle...and ended up whacking the back of her head on the court!! O_O
Li Na won the first set. Victoria Azarenka won the second. But in the end...

...Azarenka took home the trophy! :-) Congratulations to Victoria!!

Truth be told...she wasn't hubby and my pick. We really wanted Li Na to win...Not because we didn't think Victoria Azarenka was talented...because she clearly is! But because we like the talent and personality of Li Na.
Even through a twisted ankle, and a whack on the head, Li Na was still fighting and smiling. She was even smiling during the doctor's examination of her on the court after she whacked her head! The doctor had her following his finger with her eyes and she just started laughing and smiling. :-) How can you not like that?...especially considering how much stress a situation like that can cause!
Anyway!..."Maybe next time Li!!! :-) You're so talented that we know you'll be back!!"

In other news...we still have lights and power. YAY!!! ^_^ Clearly we do...because I'm here talking to you and not suffocated behind my C-Pap machine!! LOL...All jokes aside though, I feel sorry for the people in the area that have lost power...some of them for days!..and with us having such cold temperatures too! It was eleven degrees (Fahrenheit) this morning!! Brrrrrr!...Bundle up and put on your 'long Johns' everybody!!

And last for today...an update on hubby's crocheted scarf! :-)

His speed is not that great, but as you can see...his technique is still good! :-)

But even for a slow crocheter, he's coming along nicely...don't you think?! :-) ...

He says he's even gonna put fringe on it!! :-) ... Ambitious!!...But I'll be sure to show it to you when and if it happens! Count on it! ^_^ ... In the meantime, I'll keep encouraging his wonderful breakfast making abilities...This morning he made me bacon, eggs and grits, orange juice and green tea. YUM! I sure wish I could share it with you! ;-)

Have a good day, Everybody! And I hope the sun is shining brightly...or is about to...where you live too! :-)

Just When You Think...

Just when you think you've got it bad
you see someone that's worse!
You complain: "My aches and pains...",
but some folks need a nurse!

Just when the weather's got you mad
and the snow's too deep to run,
you see the melting everywhere...
You look! and there's the sun!

Just when you think I'll just move on,
and find something else to do,
there's another blog post about snow...
and another poem too! :-]

What?!!....You Can Be Distracted Too!

The header photo, a gorgeous abstract photo of Flinders street in Melbourne Australia, was the perfect photo to start this post off with today...because it is 'me' today.....abstract....and distracted!
Of course you probably already knew that would be the case, seeing that I'm sitting here again this early morning watching the men's final tennis match of the Australian Open! :-) ... Yes! I'm terribly distracted...with TENNIS!! ^_^
Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are really going at it! It's the beginning of the third set now. Nadal won the first set...7-5...and Novak won the second set...6-4. Djokovic won the first game of this third set already, and Rafa is serving for the second game. He's having a harder time holding his serve though...it's a nail-biter every time! O_O
Please be patient with me. I'll be back to my 'non-score-calling' self tomorrow. :-) I venture to say, though, that given the right subject you could be distracted too! For instance, if you were tootling along doing something, and you saw any one of these (below), would you be distracted?!...

See there!! ^_^ You're distracted right now, aren't you?!!!...Okay, so maybe it's not tennis! But we all have a point where focus is not our strong suit. And for me, in January, with no snow on my Massachusetts backyard lawn, and with nothing but lots of time...and 'in-the-bank' naps...on my hands......it's TENNIS! :-)

Of course I do have a meeting this morning also. Nothing's gonna distract me from making that.....not even my beloved tennis! Even I draw the line somewhere!! LOL
Okay...it's 2-2 in the third set. I have to go and enjoy as much of it as I can before the meeting.....Bye!........Oh Yeah! Have a good day everybody! :-)

 Distracted

I'm terribly distracted.
Watching tennis all the time,
I don't even wanna talk.
And it's a struggle writing rhyme.

And I'm wonderfully distracted.
Doing what I love to do.
Whoop and holler at the T.V.,
while I blog a bit for you.

I'm sorry I'm distracted.
And I hope you will forgive
that my mind can not be wrangled.
All my thoughts are in the sieve.

What I'll try to do tomorrow...
which I clearly can't do now...
is to give my full attention
to those who won't get it now!

I'm Just Gonna Be Honest With You.......

I'm just gonna be very honest with you today...I've got only two things on my mind this morning. Tennis...and my crocheting. As you can see from the header photo, which I thank australian open (dot) com for, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal headed off to the court to begin their battle...and I was right behind them!! ^_^
You can't see me running behind them, but trust me...that's where I was! ^_^ And right now...at 5:08 a.m. in the early morning...I'm sitting with all of Australia...and any other country's crazy tennis fans, like me...watching one of the best matches ever!...Ever!! :-) It's the men's semi-finals!.........SPOILER ALERT:....... Roger Federer, at this moment is up one set...7/6...but Nadal is up in the 2nd set...5/2! :-)
After this match there will be another great match! :-) Andy Murray versus Novak Djokovic! :-) ... So, needless to say...and I know that any regular readers of this blog are not gonna believe this!... ^_^...I'm not in the mood for much talking today! O_O In fact, I'm doing my blog early so that I can just sit and watch my matches in quiet, without talking, and without worrying about what time I'm gonna get my blog up!...Enjoy the lack of 'going on'. It won't last past the weekend...The Australian Open will be over. LOL
As I said though, there is one other thing on my mind...crocheting...I wanted to show any of you that were reading my blog yesterday, that I finally decided on the color thing for my "sack" hat...
I decided to keep it kinda low-key. I made the flower gray also, and I added a sea-foam green pinwheel type button in the center of it.

I realized that I didn't have any all gray hats or scarves in the shop, and since all gray items fly out of the shop really fast, I decided to put a basic color in there now, and later I can do another one with some COLOR!! :-) ...By the way, if you're interested, I listed it in my Wuglyees shop yesterday HERE.
I'm working on the scarf right now. I'm putting a new pattern in it. It has a section with a pretty double crochet stitching. I made it up. :-) I probably should write it down, in case I wanna repeat it in the future...You know how my brain remembers things these days...or not! LOL
Anyway!....Here's where I am so far on the scarf...
      Do you like it?!

Okay....I gotta go! Rafael Nadal has leveled the match in the 2nd set...7/6! Now Roger and Rafa both have a set a piece, and the score in the 3rd set is 1/1! All even! :-) ... I like y'all and all, but I don't wanna miss any more of it!!! LOL
     Have a good day!...See you tomorrow! :-)

I Wish I Could Wave Off The Time

I wish I could wave off the time
the way you wave off a fly about to land.
Just 'poo poo' appointments I'm dreading
with a flick and a wave of the hand.

If only the time went unnoticed,
like 'extras' on some movie set.
One shot it's as if they were coming,
the next shot they've not gotten there yet.

I'm dreading the phone calls and chatting,
as if time has somehow just stood still.
I wish I could wave off the ticking,
and hours of quiet to fill.

I know soon the day will be over.
The consciousness is in this rhyme.
Still I'm dreading the fact that it's coming,
and I wish I could wave off the time.

When It's January, And You Can Go ANYWHERE In The World.....

(Large Wheelthrown Stoneware Textured Sphere by blueroompottery)

I am beside myself with frustration right now...at Blogger!! Grrrrr! I did a whole blog post, with links and everything, about my 'Virtual Date Night' trip to Melbourne Australia, and then when I went to post it everything disappeared except the header photo and link!...UGH!... I don't have the energy, and I'm not in the mood to do it all again now. :-(
      I'm just gonna say...We had a good time. If I muster up enough 'want to' later, I'll come back and upload the whole story. But NOT RIGHT NOW!!! Grrrrrr! Sooooooo frustrating!...I need breakfast...and a nap! {The poem below is my attempt at changing my brain chemistry right now....See you later.....maybe! LOL}

I will Be Happy!

Today I will be happy!
I've decided, and so "There!"
And it won't depend on clothing,
or the way I wear my hair.

My 'Happy' has to be
from my head down to my toes.
And not coincidental,
but because that's what I've chose.

I am trying to be happy
when there's always such bad news.
But the good news is that happy
is a way to squash the blues!

So today I will be happy!
I've decided. Enough said!!
There'll be plenty of time for sadness,
and for taking to my bed.

Are you thinking that my poem
is too 'Optimistic/Sappy'?
Okay, you could be right.
Don't burst my bubble. I am happy!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, after breakfast, a nap, and a little chat with the hubby, I'm back. ^_^ I just had to come back. I mean...I found these great shops on Etsy with beautiful photos of Melbourne, and I just had to share! :-) ...{Unless labeled otherwise the shop I shared most of these photos from (the black and whites) is called FlashPhotography.}...Come along with us on our 'Virtual Date' as seen through the eyes of these shop owners. :-)
Come along with us and see early morning Melbourne, looking out to Port Phillip Bay. An ordered maze of roads snaking their way around the sprawl of the city...

...and early morning Melbourne from the clouds...

...Then come with us and take a walk through Melbourne's most interesting and quirky Webb Bridge, a pedestrian and cycle bridge, designed to represent the fish traps used by the original Koori inhabitants of the city's Docklands area...

And "Everyone who's ever been to Melbourne has surely taken a free ride on Melbourne's famous Route 35 City Circle tram!"...she says!...
...We hadn't!!...What was wrong with us anyway?! LOL Too much time spent watching tennis, no doubt! ^_^

Okay, back to our tour!..."Up these stairs is another world ... the bustling, frenetic world that is Melbourne! Taken at the edge of the Yarra River looking up the flight of steps that leads to the Princes Bridge, walking up brings you to Melbourne's famous Federation Square and Flinders Street Station..."
Once we got to the top we were at the place where Melbournians say: "I'll meet you under the clocks". :-) Meeting under the clocks with the bustle of people...delightful! :-) ...And then we went and took in some of Melbourne's culture.

Did you know that Melbourne has many cultural institutions, such as museums and galleries, events and festivals, public and street art, popular and live music, independent music and film, and fashion?!...Well, it does!...And some famous modern day actors from Melbourne include Cate Blanchett, Rachel Griffiths, Olivia Newton-John, Guy Pearce and Eric Bana!

We had a little something to eat...I'm not gonna talk about it! ^_^ Suffice it to say that I'm not a fan of EVERYTHING I ate in Australia! But.....they've got meat. I like meat!...And even if I'm a little picky about what I put in my mouth, they still have one of my favorite things...hands down!....tennis! :-)) So who cares if they have Vegemite! LOL...Wait! I said I wasn't gonna talk about it! ^_^
After thoughroughly being entertained, we got away from the bright lights of the entertainment precinct, and took a walk down Melbourne's Yarra River at night. Soooo quiet and calming...
A pretty great place to go for a 'Virtual Date', don't you think?! :-] ... Especially if you don't let Blogger bug you so much!...Thanks to FlashPhotography for allowing me to share the photos from her shop, which are for sale right now...just saying! LOL
Thanks to the other Etsy shops in this post also. Melbourne would not have been the same without you! :-) We thouroughly enjoyed our trip. The only thing that would have made it better would've been if we could stay until the end of next week...when the Australian Open was over...

...and if we didn't have snow staring us down outside our window right now...reminding us that this is Massachusetts in January, and that there's a warm climate and nice people far far away, in Melbourne Australia, right now. :-( Probably people who aren't enjoying the high heat, but thoroughly enjoying the high drama of the tennis! :-)
We miss you already Melbourne, but thanks to you...we still have our 'happy' intact! ^_^ (See poem above) Okay, now I'm gone for real!! LOL

It's A Hot Chocolate Kind Of Day And An Australian Kind Of Week!

It's four degrees Fahrenheit outside, with a wind chill factor of...UGH!...I don't even wanna talk about it!!...The weather has been wacky here. But we're not the only ones dealing with the weather! I heard on the news that even the search for survivors in the Italian cruise ship disaster was suspended because of bad weather...So sad. :-(
I would say that it's definitely a day for some comfort, wouldn't you?!...Well, let's start with hot chocolate...

And then let's go to some comforting, warming color....blue! Blue*Dark blue******* in the way of a new treasury that was curated by biesge...
I was surprised to see my blue and black crochet beret hat in a treasury!...
I thought the time for this retro looking 'baby' was gone!...Nice to see I was wrong! ^_^

I liked these comforting blue things from this treasury too!...

Thank you biesge, for the include into your comforting blue treasury! :-) Now my eyes are all warmed up, but outside?....It's still...

Inside though, I also have some blue to feast my eyes on. I'm crocheting hats. No kidding...I started five of them yesterday, in all kinds of colors. I got them all started so that I wouldn't be having to count stitches while I was watching tennis this week! ^_^ I know....I'm a mess!! LOL
Theses are two of the ones I started. Notice.....one is blue! :-)
       Turquoise blue...and heather gray...

The heather gray one is replacing the one my sister-in-law bought. :-) Actually she bought four items from me!...The gray ribbed flower hat; the gray and multicolored specks sweater scarf that I had made with the yarn and threads crocheted together (she really loved that one! If you wanna see what she looked like in them, you can see the post on my couples blog HERE.); and the cream colored hat and scarf with the fun fur trim on them.
I'll show you the other hats...black, white, and navy blue...as they're coming along. They're gonna be my tennis companions this week! :-) Yep! It's that time again!! The time to irritate all the non-sports lovers who read my blog! LOL...HELLO!!!!...Anybody out there?!!! ^_^ Oh well, if you're reading it or not, you know I'm gonna be talking about it!!! ^_^
Hey! What else do I have to do?!...especially now that winter has decided that it really wants to come? I mean...I got no birds in the backyard to watch...

And I got no more out-of-town company! :-( My sis-in-law went home yesterday......But what I do have is crochet!!
      I finished this hat now...
I'm gonna list it in the Wuglyees shop later today...

Lastly,......and stop that clapping!!! LOL...I'd like to show you the photo I got from a customer wearing the scarf she bought! :-)

She looks beautiful!!! :-) And the scarf doesn't look half bad either!....Okay, so it's not the same kind of warmth that you'd get from a cup of hot chocolate, or from a warm blue treasury, but......it's got me feeling all warm and fuzzy...so that's something! :-)
Now....on to putting up the new Giveaway...and seeing me some TENNIS!! Did I tell you?...It's AUSTRALIAN OPEN time again!!! Woohoo!!!!!! ^_^ Have a good day everybody!! :-)

The 'Racket' Men

Playing tennis with 'Hewitt'
is more like playing with a wall;
Just when you think you've  hit a winner-
Oh No!-Look Out!- Here comes the ball!

'Roger Federer's'  shot
changes fast-and that's his key;
But for steady, angled shots,
there's no one else like 'Agassi'.

'Roddick's' serve can part your hair;
It comes so fast across the net.
He just gets stronger every year.
(Don't think we've  seen his fastest yet!)

These guys are good as good can get.
I watch intensely-set by set!
