So, What Does YOUR Saturday Look Like?!

      When hubby looked out the window this morning and saw that his flowers had bloomed he became a ball of emotion...but don't tell him I told you that! ^_^ Apparently when he planted these he wasn't sure they would even come up!...but they did! And WOW! They're so pretty!!
 

      Don't ask me what they are...because I have no idea! ^_^ They're pretty...and they're colorful...but they're not crochet! Sooooo.....my interest in the details kinda 'straight-lined' when he started talking about them! LOL
 

      Besides, I have other things on my mind this morning...like being able to do some talking about one of my other favorite subjects, the Bible! :-) And still having a hummingbird at the feeder...
 

      He, or she...O_O...no, I don't know the difference!...is very content to hang around near the feeder, sip a little every once in a while, and enjoy the scenery! :-) Occasionally...and you probably won't believe this...he'll see hubby walking near the window, and he flies over and 'dances' with him! ^_^
      Hubby does a back and forth head movement with the hummingbird, and makes rumbley whistle noises...*I think he thinks he's the head hummingbird, or something! ^_^*...The hummingbird isn't afraid of him. That's the surprise!! LOL I think if I was a hummingbird I'd be pecking at his eyes...making that crazy man noise!!!! LOL
      Anyway! ^_^ I'm off to eat a little somethin' somethin', and have my green tea. "HERE I COME, SATURDAY!!!!" :-) ... Have a good day, Everybody!

Do you ever watch the news...
then you find you get the blues...

Where the planes were coming from...
Or is it all now just 'Hum Drum'?

Did you say: 'Doesn't bother me!'...
'No! I really didn't see!'...
'Oh! That surely couldn't be!'?!

Do you ever want to cry...
Roll up your sleeves and give a try...
make all the children never die?!

It's hard to sometimes see the good
with all the damaged neighborhoods...
See things the way you know you should.

The T.V. news won't fill the bill...
Doesn't give our hope the needed thrill.
But God...I know he can. And will!

Oh YES IT DID!!!!

      YES IT DID!!!...AGAIN! Snow I mean...*smh*...Pictures like these make snow look so inviting, so serene and majestic....

         ......so....

        ....Arghhhhh!....Are those sharks circling?!...Okay, so it's not THAT bad.....yet! LOL But it's bad enough! And I just heard on the morning news that we may have piles more of it coming in our direction!!!....What happened to Spring?! O_0

       If you saw the photos on my blog yesterday you know that my backyard was almost completely clear of snow....But the above photo, and the next few, are what it looks like now!!

        You thought I was all done with winter photos, didn't you?!!...So did I!!!...*smh*...Oh Well...*sigh*...
      So, I've got to find something to keep me busy so I don't look out the window. I guess I'll make some more flowers for my "Crochet Supplies" section of my Wuglyees shop! Yes...Yes I did list some already!!! :-))

      I know they're only crocheted flowers.....but I had to do something! I couldn't believe it was snowing again!! And it snowed all day too!!...But Yes!...Oh YES IT DID!!! UGH! ... WHATEVER!!! I refuse to let snow or the news completely ruin my day.....even though....*deep sigh*....it's sure giving it a good try!

A Gift of Vintage Beads!!

    As much as I love to talk, today I'm not going to do much talking! I'm going to let my gift do the talking! A friend came over yesterday to help me do some housework and to play Scrabble with me (She's really good too!! I beat her 2 out of 3 games, but it was a dog fight the whole way through! ^_^ You know when I say dog fight....that means a lot of giggling, fooling around, and just plain fun!!!). Besides her fabulous company, she brought me a gift of vintage beads!!!! Plastic, glass, wood, etc....Take a look!!!

Maybe I can change somebody's mind about how great "OLD" is! If not in bodies......how about in beads?!! ^_^)

   On a completely different note, I wrote this poem yesterday. Or, I should say, this poem wrote me! The first line of it kept going over and over in my head for some reason. And I was in a good mood all day yesterday too, so WHATEVER! I hope you enjoy it!...And have a good weekend everybody!!
