A Saturday 'Sit-In'!!

I've got a pretty busy Saturday ahead of me, so I thought I'd stop by and share just a few of the things I'm loving right now on Etsy. Then I'll holler at you all tomorrow! ^_^

      YES! This chair 'is' gorgeous!!!! :-) The only problem I'd have with it...is sitting in it. I don't think I would!! LOL It's too pretty for sitting. It's more for looking at! :-)

      And here are a few other things that, if I owned them, I would also not sit on!! LOL

I Haven't Shared For A Few Days...So Here Goes!!

     It's been a few days since I shared anything from the shops on Etsy. I've been too busy crocheting my fool head off! ^_^ But now that my wedding bridal shawl is all done...YES IT IS!!...I can go back to my regular habits, which include talking my head off!! LOL

      Well...talking my head off AND sharing the creative wares of fellow Etsy shop owners! :-) Sharing is at the top of my list of things I have fun doing! ^_^ And that list keeps getting longer and longer the older I get!! ^_^

      Among the other things I love to do is sipping on my green tea...which would no doubt taste even better in a birch tree coffee mug! ^_^ ... And eating good stuff!! :-) ...

     No!...I don't eat donut soap!! :-)) But I 'do' love the creativity it took to make it look so real...and eatable!! :-)

     I also love sleeping....ummmmmm!...Although I don't think I'd rest my head on these pretty pillows!...

      They would be to pretty!! ^_^ But they'd make great decorative conversation pieces!!

      I also love planning! So a cute calendar like this one...

     ...would be great for planning!...'virtual Friday dates, crochet projects, old movie times, dinnertime, etc!! :-)) And it would be a great reminder to never forget to get ice cream too!! :-)

     Speaking of shawls...as I said earlier, I finished my wedding bridal shawl that I was working on. :-) But since I haven't had an opportunity to photograph it yet, I thought I'd just share a fellow Etsian's beautiful wedding shawl!! :-) ...

      In more personal news, the bad storms we had over the weekend, into Monday, produced hail, thunder and lightening, and even a tornado that touched down right outside of Boston!! O_O We only got the thunder and lightening and pouring rain here in Holyoke, but the surrounding towns had quite a scare it seems! We're still trying to get in touch with a family member that lives in the area where the tornado touched down! O_O But I'm sure she must be fine. I would just like to be sure!

      Otherwise, all is about the same...tons of things to worry about if I had a mind to, but I choose to pray and let the worrying be done by those who want to!! ^_^ And crochet! :-)) Crocheting always give me something smile-worthy to put my mind on! :-)

    Oh yeah!...This August hubby and I are considering some special activity with our congregation. We still have our situation and circumstances in prayer to see if we'll be able to reach out and help some other people a bit more. So far it's looking good! :-) I could sure use some Bible students though, to help me make the time!...And yes! That was an invitation!! ^_^

      Okay...off to look at the rest of the show I'm watching..."The Waltons"...and then look for some red thread to start another shawl!! ^_^ Or pink...or mint green...or rose...or gray...or....etc! LOL Have a good rest of the day, Everybody!! ♥

      YAY!...I know what day it is! ^_^ It's Tuesday!!!...{I missed Sunday, but I think I'm back on track now!! ^_^}......And in honor of 'Tuesday' I'm gonna spare you from having to look at a whole blog post full of my crocheted items from my Wuglyees Etsy shop! :-) But...uhhh...if you wanna go to the shop itself to look at them, click HERE! ^_^

      Hello, Y'all! :-) It seems like ages since I've talked to you!...AGES!! :-) ...Actually, it's only been two days. It just seems like longer because I rarely go for long periods of time without 'running my mouth'! ^_^ In truth though, I'm still running my mouth. Just not here! LOL

      So, what's new, you ask?! :-) ... Okay, so you didn't ask! :-)) But you know I'm gonna tell you anyway, right?! ^_^ ... What's new is hummingbirds...LOTS of them now. :-) And they are the cutest little things!! :-)

      I don't have the same ones, or the same species of hummingbirds, as I had last year. This year the ones I'm getting are kinda dark...almost black...with a band of color around their necks. Red or green. Still very cute!...just different than last year. And still fabulous to watch!! ^_^

      They're already dating too! :-) Or at least I think that's what they're doing!...soaring high in the sky, and then diving at each other! :-) And there's a kind of clicking when they get near the bottom of the dive. :-) I read somewhere that this was dating behavior...hummingbird style! ^_^ At any rate, it's cool to watch!

      While there's dating going on outside...there's cleaning going on inside! ^_^ Not me! I'm not a lover of cleaning fumes right now!...But hubby?!....Oh! He's got the 'bug'!! :-) I think it's the sunshine and nice weather. I think it's gone to his head!! LOL

      You should've seen him on his knees cleaning the floor tiles!! O_O It was inspiring!!!...Inspiring me to look out the window at hummingbirds!! LOL...The smell of his cleaning supplies were giving me a headache!! LOL

      I already have an ear ache that I've been trying to get rid of for two days..."THANK YOU, ALLERGIES"!!! Ugh!...and now I have the smell of Pine-Sol, or something stringent, up my nose!!...Don't get me wrong! I'm not complaining! I mean, if he wants to clean...more power to him!! ^_^ 

      I loved the look of satisfaction on his face too! :-] He says he wants to make it a regular thing. Especially since our income has really decreased and we can't afford the cleaning lady anymore.....But uhhh...yeah! We'll see how long that feeling lasts! LOL

      Okay. Enough of that!! :-) Let me share some really cool items I found on Etsy. Ones I don't think you can find everywhere...or maybe anywhere!!...

      Don't get me wrong...I have things to do. But the things I have to do are not anxiety-ridden, or schedule driven. They are things all about love. ♥ The love of my God Jehovah...that I like to talk to people about on a nice Saturday. :-)

LOL...He's made breakfast three times already, and still...it's making me nauseous. O_O Sorry, honey. I suspect that green tea with honey and lemon, and maybe a toasted raisin bagel may be the only solution this morning...Of course...he can't hear me through my typing fingers. So....gotta go!! LOL {It's a good thing he already has a practiced thirty plus years in, with my hormonal moods I mean! ^_^}

Things I'm Loving Right Now...And They Are NOT Pancakes!

     I wish I could start off 'Pancake Sunday' talking about how much I'm loving pancakes right now, but.....NOPE! That's because me and pancakes aren't friends right now! :-)) I woke up in the middle of the night having an itching fit because of eating a sandwich late yesterday evening!...UGH! Apparently the yeast level in my body is pretty high...again! Ugh! Ugh!

     Anywayyyy!!!...I'm gonna find something to love this morning if it kills me! ^_^ ...Actually, it wasn't that hard. :-) ...

     I'm loving these flowers!! (above) They kinda remind me of hubby's flowers in the backyard right now...sorta....kinda. ^_^ Except that these are more organized...more colorful...MORE!!! ^_^

    I'm also loving our weather right now. It's been practically rain-free for days! And not too much humidity either...We are due to get some rain tomorrow and Wednesday or Thursday, but that's okay. It's still getting that cozy Fall feeling in the air...
