Hello 'Ugly Wuglyee' Tuesday!!

      Hi, Y'all!! ^_^ Sorry about the blog break...again!...but I just play it by ear these days. My intention is to try to post every day, but if that doesn't happen...uhhhhh...it doesn't happen!! ^_^ I've got a lot of balls in the air (so to speak) in my private offline life right now. So, I kinda just go with the flow.
      And, from now on out, I'm gonna stop apologizing for not being here...***smacking myself on the back of the hand!!***...I'm just gonna post at every opportunity. And when I'm not here I just want you guys to know that I'll be back as soon as I can! Okay?!.....OKAY!! :-)
      But I'm here today!...so...let's talk about that thick 'ugly wuglyee' cowl scarf I was making, shall we!! :-] ...
 

      I had a bag full of bits and pieces of yarn. Not enough to make a whole ANYTHING! And not enough to add a full row to ANYTHING (in most cases)! But I saw this multi-colored cowl pattern in one of the books a friend recently gave me as a gift.
 

       It's the kind of pattern that doesn't need an exact amount of ANYTHING, and therefore GREAT for this 'ugly wuglyee' work of 'mitchy-matchy' crochet art! ^_^ 
 

      Okay...so it's not the most perfect, most beautiful, most symettrical, scarf you'll ever see! But somebody will look at it and see perfection, beauty, and symmetry!! I just know it......PLEASE!!! ^_^
 

      All of the above photos were of the scarf in it's unfinished state. The photos below are all of the cowl scarf completely finished!! :-)

      It almost looks like two different scarves, depending on which side you're wearing it on! :-)
 

      One side is fit for the more tame side of your personality...sorta kinda! ^_^ And the other side is just 'OUT THERE'!! LOL
 

      I'd love some feedback on it...if you dare to tell the truth!! ^_^ Otherwise...I'm off to get some milk and cookies! And hopefully I'll see you tomorrow! :-) ♥

Off My Schedule

I've been off my schedule,
and I'm craving normalcy.
I wanna sleep six hours
and then plan my A to Z.

It's not for want of trying.
I'm a schedule making fool!
But putting things in writing
hasn't made them now the rule.

Things keep coming up.
Out of nowhere, things to do.
Obligations that keep pulling
at my "set in schedule" glue.

I've just been giving in,
like a pushed revolving door.
I schedule to do better.
I mean, what is a schedule for?!

      I really love the yarn bag above!!!...I ascribe to it's message too...whole-heartedly!! ^_^ In fact I just finished a purple scarf, and started a custom hat for a neighbor! :-) Nobody puts my crochet hook...or my crochet yarn...or my gnarled up crochet fingers...in a corner!! LOL

      The truth is, I was trying to get a lot of items ready for the craft show that was suppose to take place in December...but yesterday...*sigh*...I was told that it's been cancelled. :-( Something about legalities...blah! blah! blah!...But did that slow me down or stop me from crocheting?!.....Nooooooooo! ^_^

      I have to find some way to get all of this crochet stuff sold though!!! O_O So if you have any suggestions....I'm open!!...H-E-L-P!!! ^_^ Between the 'expired' items, and the ones listed in my wuglyees shop, I have over 450 items that need a new home!! Make me a good offer for all of it and it's yours!! :-)

I Like A Cuppa

I find I like a 'Cuppa' soup
when it's chilly out the door;
And I like a 'Cuppa' tea
every day around four.

And I like a 'Cuppa' coffee...
not a decaf 'Cuppa'...NO!...
any time of day or night
I like my steaming 'Cuppa' Joe!      

Things I'm Loving Right Now...On This Tuesday!

      YAY!...I know what day it is! ^_^ It's Tuesday!!!...{I missed Sunday, but I think I'm back on track now!! ^_^}......And in honor of 'Tuesday' I'm gonna spare you from having to look at a whole blog post full of my crocheted items from my Wuglyees Etsy shop! :-) But...uhhh...if you wanna go to the shop itself to look at them, click HERE! ^_^

and my feelings all set free.

I'm free of fondness now toward rain;
Yet I do love how the rain has focused
my creative brain.

Speaking of my brain,
With all this rain, I just say WOW!
'cause It's keeping me together,

It's A Soup & Crackers Tuesday!

      Hi Y'all!...It's Tuesday!...That's right, right?!...It is Tuesday, isn't it?! O_O I'm a little bit fuzzy about it this morning. It was a looooong night...and a looooong day yesterday. That's why it's a soup & crackers day for me today!

      I keep finding reasons to smile, no matter what happens, but my 'wonky, up and down feeling' body doesn't make it easy! And yesterday was no exception!...I must've eaten something that didn't agree with my stomach's delicate disposition these days, because I was 'tossing my cookies'...in other words, throwing up...over and over last night. :-(

      It started early yesterday afternoon, with an overly full feeling in my stomach. But as the day went on, it was a dull ache, and then a pressured pain, and then...queasiness...and then...UPSY-DAISY!!! ^_^ In other words...up she came!!! LOL

       So today it's me...some hot soup...

      Thankfully I already finished writing my talk for the meeting. All of my sold items were wrapped and sent off (one to Greece!)...And also, thankfully, hubby is home again today! :-) I need 'babying' today. :-] Tomorrow it can be his turn. ^_^ ...      "Yeah, I'm Up!"...but I'm not awake...yet! ^_^ But even when I'm not completely awake I can still talk! That's just how I roll! LOL...And this morning I wanna talk about this cute owl pillow!...

     Yes! Owls are still 'in'! :-) And they've been 'in' for a long time! In fact, my Etsy search every morning comes across at least one owl...usually more than one! But they're so cute...and Etsian's are so creative in the way they display them...that I don't mind at all. Bring on the owls!! :-)

      I also wanna talk about this bracelet!...

     I'm not that much of a bracelet wearer...that's just how I roll!...but I still can admire a beautiful turquoise bracelet...that's sharing the color of my latest crochet boutonniere set...just saying! ^_^ AND it has a flower!!! :-) 

     Also, I wanna talk about how cute 'Fall Inspired' jewelry is...especially this necklace!...

      Wouldn't this look pretty with a tweed skirt, or a plain white sweater?! :-) Of course, not everybody would wear it the same way I would. But if I was dressing for Fall, plain white sweaters and tweed skirts is how I would roll! :-)

      And lastly...as far as Etsy finds is concerned...I wanna talk about pincushions....Or should I say 'THIS' pincushion! :-) ...

     Okay...I'm MORE awake now. And I can tell you that hubby's sister is gone. He loved seeing her, and hopes it won't be that long before he sees her the next time. :-) ♥ ... I can also tell you that my hummingbirds are 'officially' gone now...I think. One flew up to the window while I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone yesterday!! 

     He totally ignored the feeder, and instead came over to the window and looks at me! He flew left and right, tipping his little head, trying to look in the window!! ;_; Yes...I teared up. It was sorta like he was saying:

        "Hi Poetesswug! I got almost all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico and remembered that I hadn't said 'Thank You' and 'Goodbye'! So I had to dart back and give you a little wave. Okay...gotta go. See ya next year!"

     Okay...so hummingbirds don't talk. I get that!...But I talk!...for them! ^_^ ...
