Red..And Fog!

      It's pancake Sunday...without pancakes. :-) Actually it's without a lot of stuff today, including words!...I'm not in the mood to do a lot of talking today...I know!...Call the newspaper!! LOL

      It's no 'biggie'. I just woke up with a headache...for the first time in quite a while...and I don't feel like doing much of nothing...including talk!...And the fact that the backyard is fogged in just makes the 'no talking' thing easy.

      The backyard is black and white and gray...darkness...snow...and fog! O_O SO I was happy to see some color in the Etsy feed this morning. Especially the red! :-) ...

     Look at this backyard and you'll see why the red was so welcome this morning!...

      There weren't even any birds at the feeder!...They probably couldn't find it through the fog!! ^_^ They probably could've used a bit of red too! :-)

It All Went Away In A Fog

I dreamed I was writing my blog,
in the middle of an old Irish bog.
There came a woof! woof!
and the pounding of hoof,
and it all went away in a fog.

The next night I was out for a jog,
and again heard that same old dog!
I took off down the street,
hid in golden high wheat,
and it all went away in a fog.

I awoke eating just like a hog,
having wine with a spicy cheese log.
Giving numerous naps,
and the dog all my scraps,
it all went away in a fog!

      Happy Saturday, Everybody! ^_^ For all of you who had date nights with your spouses last night, I hope you got a chance to relax and laugh. I did! ^_^ That's why my mind is in a much better space this morning. I'm relaxed...thinking creatively...and ready to get my weekend on!! LOL

      Sorry I'm so late getting my blog post up today, but I was off falling in love with some sweet little baby feet!! :-] They stopped me in my tracks this morning when I was scrolling through my Etsy activity feed...And so, a change of blog subject was necessary...I won't tell you what the 'other' blog post was gonna be. But I 'can' tell you that it was all about 'jibberywasheret'! ^_^ I'll explain some other time. (But I'd love to hear what YOU think 'jibberywasheret' is!!        Can you feel the slight lift in my mood today?!...It's because I got some news from the doctor that may mean the my road to the hospital may have a slight curve in it! ^_^ I'll have to tell you about that later too...when more developments arrive. :-]

      Good Morning!...(or 'Good day' to everyone in other time zones of the world. ^_^)...I wish I could show you how good my morning looks, with the Wug bird sanctuary in my backyard right now.  ^_^ We have chickadees, cardinals, blue jays, woodpeckers, etc. What we don't have is pictures of it!! LOL
      Considering how sad my pictures of the sweet little birdies have been lately, I figured that you'd do better just visualizing the little birdies flitting and chirping and fighting....Oops! LOL Don't visualize the fighting!!!! LOL
      Anyway!!...I'd rather spend my time talking!!! ^_^ ... Talking about how good my green tea tastes this morning... and talking about the state of mind I wanna be in for the rest of the day!

      I've got some thinking to do about what I need to have with me at the hospital...It's now a definite "Go!" I'm gonna need some specific tests done, and a hospital stay to get them done is in my future...*sigh*...I'm not exactly sure if it will be before the new year or not though. We'll see...But either way I have to do some thinking about what to take with me...besides my hubby. :-) ... He's definitely a "Go!" now too!! :-)

     It's not TODAY though!! ^_^ So, today I'm looking for positive!! :-) POSITIVE!!!... And I just saw 'positively cute' on the news...a pair of hamburger ear muffs!!! ^_^ ...I'll have to look into getting some photos of them for the blog some other day. The only photos I feel up to inserting today is ones that I don't have to do too much linking on.....MINE!! :-) {If you're interested in any of them give me a holler. I'm even willing to negotiate the price!}

     There's other positive news too!...It's not raining or snowing! YAY! ^_^ And rising temperatures are on the way for the weekend. YAY!...Not like I'm planning a vacation or anything. LOL Just a date for tomorrow. :-) A date where we may just skip going to somewhere in the world, and just go 'back in time'! ^_^ Hey!...'Virtually' you can do that!! ^_^ I'm positive!!!

Disappointment

Yes, I've danced with disappointment.

But I've dealt with all of it
because I've always had my God.

He, for sure, is disappointed
at the things that men will do.
But if he can suffer through it,
then I know that I can too!      

I'm Still Here!...Cold...But Talking!

      Hello Bloggers!...Yes, it's still me! ... No, I haven't gone anywhere yet! ... Yes, I still have things to talk about! ... No, I will NOT stop talking my head off...no matter what they do to me!!! LOL
      The only real thing I have to talk about today though, is 'white stuff'...piles of it that we got last night. Or should I say MORE piles of it! Because we got about 6-8 inches over the weekend, and last night another 4 or 5 inches!! O_O
      This morning the snow that had fallen on the ground is all frozen too! YAY!...NOT! :-)) It's frozen because the temperatures are in the teens!!...Brrrr!...Can't you tell how much fun we're gonna have today?!...*rolling her eyes* ^_^
      But I 'can' say something positive about the white stuff....At least it's not rain!! LOL And at least I don't have to be out in it, trying to shovel it anywhere!! ^_^ I'll leave that to the people paid to do it!...and to my hubby, who has to shovel a bit of it off of the car so that he can take my package to the post office. ^_^
        That's one of the other things I can talk about today...I got an international sale last night, in my Wuglyees Etsy shop! :-) It's been a while since anyone 'across the pond' bought anything from my shop...And I can talk about the cute items I found on Etsy...after I avoided all of the Christmas trees, reindeer, ornaments, and so forth. (All respect to those who do, but I don't celebrate Christmas.) ...

A Pause From Blogging???!!!

      Clearly I'm not talking about taking a pause from blogging TODAY! But unfortunately it looks like a pause might be inevitable soon. :-( And if you are a regular follower of my blog you might have seen it coming.

      The reason is because of my health. More specifically, some tests that need to be done for my health. I 'may' need to be hospitalized for a bit to get them done...I say 'may' because we're still in the process of talking about options. So, nothing is set in stone yet.

      After the tests, depending on circumstances and stuff, there may be other options for health care. Options that may include a length of time at a facility with proper equipment to help me get more mobile. 

      Needless to say...*sigh*...there's not much to smile about in these kinds of decisions. Well...nothing except that I'm making the decisions with my God, my husband, and my friends solidly in my support camp. :-]

       There's all kinds of stuff that has to be worked out, barring the decision turns out to be a "Go!"...which is still up in the air right now. Stuff like: whether hubby will be able to stay with me at the facility (it's kinda far away, but he's my 'real' day-to-day care-giver, and he's kind of afraid to give the job over to somebody else. :-) That's my love-bunny alright! ♥)

      Also, we'll have to decide about finances, hubby's job, whether I'll be able to hear my meetings regularly at the facility, whether I can take all of my supplements while I'm there (Oh No! I'm not giving up my acidophiles and green tea! No! ^_^), whether to give up my Etsy shop until I'm back home, and whether continuing to try to blog every day is feasible. :-(

      I've been talking my head off almost every day since back in 2010 when I started this blog!...Well, the truth be told, I've been talking my head off, in one way or another, since I was actually able to form sentences!! ^_^ In fact, even when I was quiet there were poems and songs going over and over in my over-active brain!!

      So, even if I do end up taking a pause from blogging, rest assured I will be talking to somebody somewhere!! Ha! Ha! The pause will only be a public pause. :-) ...

      Hello Y'all!...I'd love to tell you that I'm all peppy and ready to start the new week...but the reality is...I didn't sleep well, and I woke up with a headache, and 'wah wah wahhhhhh'!! ^_^ You can see where this post is going, right?!!...It's gonna be a blog post full of this and that, and whichama whatsit, and me trying to find something to smile about through the 'whiney' pain... In other words...it's Monday...*sigh*

      What do you talk about on a Monday when you wanna just be in bed, with the covers pulled over your head, and your back being rubbed?!...You talk about something pretty...like the pretty ruffle scarf in the header photo...And then you talk about something that somebody else, with a reason to smile, can smile about!...

Do you find that you have lulls?
Times when life just has no 'Pings!'
Times when all that you've been planning
has been done! ... and nothing 'sings!'

You don't know what you should do.
Taking naps seem so sublime!
Knowing, when you look around,
that No! You haven't wasted time!

Lots of things have all been done.
But many things that you could do.
But nothing 'Pings': "Let's do this next!!"
The lull just gets the best of you.

Right now I'll try to ride the wave.
No expectation. Just relax.
Keep flipping books for inspiration.
Enjoying colors, brights and blacks.

Soon I know I'll be off again,
deeply engrossed in some new thing.
I'll get such satisfaction from it.
And that familiar little...'Ping!'
