Ugly..........Or Beautiful?!

       No, I'm not talking about that gorgeous flower...or whatever it is...in the header photo. :-] Even though I don't have a clue what that is, I still think that, with all of the gorgeous color and flare that it has, it is beautiful! :-)

       What I'm talking about is this...

    This is a photo I got from The Weather Channel Facebook page. It's of the volcano that erupted in Guatemala the other day, September 13th...33,000 people were evacuated from the area!

      It's strange how things that are so destructive and cause so much ugliness...can be so beautiful in appearance...The photos of the volcano are mesmerizing!...Here are a couple other ones of it that I got from the WWLP Facebook page...

      In this picture (above) you can see that even from a town south of Guatemala City, Palin, Volcan de Fuego, or 'Volcano of Fire', with all of the lava flowing, looks beautiful even at night!...especially so at night!...It almost seems like it shouldn't be so. O_O "Fox News (dot) com" did a story about it, if you wanna read --> HERE.

      The major t.v. news stations here didn't give it much attention. 33,000 people evacuated, and it seems that it was just an 'old hat' story...With all the ugliness already in the news, I guess this story wasn't all that important. :-( Kinda sad...They are people, after all. O_O It's kinda strange to say, but imagine how much different the story would have been if 33,000 dogs or cats were being evacuated!...just saying. :-( ...It's a strange world we live in.

       Anyway, I'm speaking as someone who knows that sometimes ugly 'is' ugly, but sometimes ugly can be beautiful! I'm the owner of 'Wuglyees', where nothing is wasted - not even the ugly! :-] ...I know 'ugly - beautiful' when I see it!....or else I'll make it that way!! LOL

      Case in point...

         ...my chocolate leopard button crochet necklace! :-) I know it's kinda unique....Okay, ugly!...At least that's what I know some people think of it!...But I love it.....and I love the whole shop full of it's buddies that I have too! LOL

     I know I'm not completely alone in liking it, because Monika, of MonikaDesign, added it to her 'Hot Chocolate With My FB Friends' treasury just the other day...

      How my ugly 'baby' ever got in there with these beauties (below)...

      Maybe some of the 'beautiful' of Monika's treasury will rub off on it, and it'll sell! :-)) It's starting to get a jealousy complex with all of the lapel pins leaving the shop as soon as they arrive. My crochet necklaces are starting to feel like that expression that people use...'ugly red headed step children'!! ^_^ Me?!...I love red heads AND step children. And what is 'ugly' anyway?! :-)

     Ugly is NOT Monika's treasury...And it's NOT Guatemalan volcanoes either...That's one nappy headed 'ugly beautiful' black girl's opinion. :-)) ... Don't mind my silliness today. I felt like whining and this came out instead..it's raining..I'm in pain. I have an excuse! LOL...Be thankful I didn't start whining, for real!! ^_^ Have a good weekend, Everybody!

Whining

I'm cold. I'm hot. I'm helpless.

Why does life have to be so tough?!

I'm lonely...tired of people,
Need to find something to do.

I'm whining all the time
about one thing and then another.
If I had a dime for all that whine...
I could be rich just on the weather!!

No, I'm not a little kid.
I am a full grown "Whiney Mama"!
And I can whine, and list and list,
comma after comma!

I don't like waiting. I am bored.
And I've got so much to do!
Did I encourage you to whine?!
