Hello Y'all!! ^_^ I know you probably figured that, with me being gone from here for a whole week, I was gone for good...BUT NO!! I just had to take a break for a little while to get some other things done, and get my 'want to' back in order!
A few things had gone on that took my mine off of writing my every waking thought...because if I told you my every waking thought you'd think I was going crazy!! LOL It's been really rough!!!...But I'm back in the game now!
I still have some family issues that have happened that I'll spare you and won't share here...NOPE!...and they would only lead to many more questions, and your mouths hanging open anyway!! ^_^ ... And there are a few other none-smile-worthy issues that are on-going that I'd rather not talk about here. I'll save those for my close "in-real-life" friends and relatives! :-)) They're required to listen to my crazy...whether they like it or not!!! LOL
Thankfully my not talking about those few things hasn't emptied my head of thought all together! LOL And they haven't left me with nothing to talk about either! That won't happen unless something beyond my control takes away my ability to form my ABCs into cohesive written sentences! ^_^ ... Actually it may take even more than that! ^_^
I told hubby that if anything unexpected happens to me, like I have a stroke and can't move my mouth or hands for instance, he'd better get prepared to read angry eyebrows and 'slow-quick-quick-slow' blinking patterns pretty quickly!! LOL
All joking aside, as you can see, my sense of humor is still intact...as are my letters and words! ^_^ And, by the way, so is my ability to spot a cute Etsy item!! ^_^
During the week off from blogging I've also been doing a lot of crocheting. I'm trying to get some items made for the craft show my items are suppose to be featured in! :-] And also, hubby has been selling scarves for me offline, and getting custom requests for me to fill too!! :-)
I'm also trying out new marketing techniques, like a flyer with some of my items shown on it in full color. Hubby has been leaving them EVERYWHERE!!! :-) Unfortunately while I am getting more traffic to my Wuglyees shop, I'm not getting more sales there! Ugh!...But I have sold about 10 or so scarves offline recently! ^_^ I say something is better than nothing!!
Other parts of my marketing strategy include giving away an occasional free necklace with my scarves. :-) This necklace is free to someone who buys a certain scarf in my shop....You'll have to go look through my scarves to find it though!! :-))

I'm working on some other strategies too...like taking lot of naps, so I can have the strength to crochet and think up new strategies!! ^_^ Thinking is hard tiring work!!! LOL
Here is one of the hats I made recently!...
It was specifically made for a woman who saw the multicolored hat I made for my husband and decided she wanted one...in plain red! LOL Hey! Not everybody can wear multicolor!! ^_^
And this is my latest pride and joy! :-) ...
It's a pattern I bought from another great shop on Etsy!! :-) It worked up beautifully too!!!...and the shop owner gave me permission to sell the already made items in my shop!! :-)
It can be worn as a chest shawl, a cowl neck shawl, or a hooded scarf!! ^_^ I've got all kinds of colors bouncing back and forth in my mind about it!! ^_^...In the meantime I'm finishing up this 'baby'...
It's made with 3 strands of virgin wool and 'crimp' nylon! :-] ...
Tomorrow I'll be jumping back into the ABC end of the crochet pool, with 'black' scarves! ^_^ I have four of them to make!!!! FOUR! O_O I may go blind from the color monotony!!! LOL Only time will tell!!

A Little Doze'll Do You!
I enjoy my sleeping, and a doze,
a nap, and such.
In fact I might enjoy a snooze
entirely waaaay too much!
At any time of day,
you'll find me like a weeping willow.
Head hung low and dragging,
looking for the nearest pillow.
No, there's nothing wrong.
I'm not depressed. I've still got bounce!
And I can stay awake and be
quite witty when it counts!
But I have been awake for things
when I could've been asleep.
And now my time's so valuable
I don't treat it like it's cheap.
My sleeping, dozing, napping,
is to my life a special key.
It unlocks and refreshes
and dispels anxiety!
Most people try to fill up
every hour in the day.
But me, I'd rather be asleep
and waste it all away.
There's plenty hours left
for all the flit and play and chore.
An hour for a nap right now?!
Why not?! There's 24!!
