Yep!...The sun is shining! And in fact, the weather map is showing no more rain in our area straight through the weekend! :-) I know that's not good news for some of you, but for me it's great news. It means my poor aching arthritic bones will get a little break!

And that's what's going on around here today...Sunshine!...If you were here yesterday, you saw me thank Melissa, of Lazy Daisy Crochet blog, for the sunshine she gave me by way of the Sunshine Blogger Award.
I hadn't planned to talk about this today, but once again I didn't get much sleep, and I don't have enough brain cells firing together right now to talk to you about what I 'was' gonna talk to you about. Also, I was afraid that if I put it off much longer I would forget to do it...so here we are...YOU, all attentive and everything, and ME, all tired and still chatty and everything. ^_^

While I'm answering my favorite things questions I'm gonna share a few Etsy finds too...cuz that's how I roll! ^_^ :
1. Favorite animal: The Bengal Tiger...and birds. Especially baby birds.

2.Favorite number: I don't really have a favorite number, but since hubby and I will be married 30 years this summer, I guess 30 could be my favorite number right now...Of course, we've been together for 34 or so years, so 34 could just as easily be my favorite number! LOL
3. Favorite non-alcoholic drink: Right now I guess it would be green tea with honey and lemon...It was coffee just recently I was starting to be a 'cup-a-day' drinker. But, for no particular reason, I fell out of 'every day' love with it so much. So, since I haven't had a cup in such a loooong time now....I'll stick with the green tea. I had a cup of that last night! ^_^

4. Facebook or Twitter: Both....at different times, and for different reasons. I like words. :-) ...I like keeping up with friends on Facebook, and sharing my etsy items...On Twitter I like the immediate sharing of my etsy items and what I had for breakfast. ^_^ Also sharing comments with people while I'm watching a ball game or something. I love that with a hashtag we can all be ball game watchers together! :-]

5. My passion: Because I don't share it that often on my blog, only my friends in real life would know this, but my real passion is the Bible! I love the person I've become by trying my best every day to live up to the standards in it...Of course, right after that would be my passion for crochet, poetry, music and talking my head off! ^_^

6. Getting or giving: Both....at different times and for different reasons...Mostly, I love giving, because I like the feeling it gives me. Jesus was right when he said: 'There's more happiness in giving than there is in receiving'! I like being happy. And I wanna be responsible for making as many other people as I can feel happy too. :-) ...That's why I also like 'getting' too! :-) ...especially when it's from someone who cares about and knows me...I LOVE a surprise! Getting or giving!!
7. Favorite Pattern: That would be my crochet flower pattern. I love crocheting flowers for brooches, boutonnieres, necklaces, etc...They're all made slightly different. Fun!

8. Favorite day of the week: Friday...It's the day that marks the end of the week. It's my visiting day with my 'Tiggerific' friend. And it's the day for my 'Virtual dates with my hubby. :-)

10. Favorite country: I don't have a favorite country. I love living on the earth. And since I have friends all over the world. Wherever they are is my favorite. :-)
