I saw this magnet/pinback button badge/keychain/bottle opener/pocket mirror in the etsy shop BadgesByQuake and all I could think was WOW!!...Of course it said: "WOW!" right across the front of it! LOL So maybe that had 'something' to do with me saying WOW!...But just the fact that it's so small and yet it has so many uses is enough to make anybody say WOW!...Don't you think?!
I seemed to be saying "WOW" a lot yesterday. Some reasons were good...Like, for instance, I received a beautiful loving letter full of precious and valuable words of encouragement...and with a big check in it too!!...WOW! It was out of the blue...unexpected!...and totally WOWed me!! It wowed hubby too! :-)
It especially wowed hubby because he had gotten a call earlier in the day from the auto repair shop that was trying to diagnose our 'sick' car, and found out that she was REALLY sick!....$2,000 sick! And more than that, even if the 'car surgery' on her was a success, she was still gonna need some more work...probably before July!...WOW! :-( ...Getting such a nice letter with a show of support for our situation was much needed right about then!
Unfortunately, although the money that was sent to us was a substantial and well appreciated gift, it's not gonna be enough to pay for all that the car is gonna need to get done between now and the next few months...So hubby decided that the car has to go. :-( We have to come up with some other option for transportation.
Our sick car is like an elderly, but loved, old cow. It's time for her to go out to pasture. :-( As my granny used to say: "There's no need ,at this point, to be throwing good money after bad", trying to repair every leak she's gonna spring. And eventually....very soon, eventually...we're gonna have to get new transport anyway!....and by then we'll have wasted a lot of money!...WOW, right?!
At least I had some pretty things (like the ring above) to look at and to WOW me in a good way yesterday :-) And I found some other things too (below)...
They're big beautiful checkerboard cut citrine stones, combined with carved Pink Tourmaline leaves, in a 14k yellow gold setting! Definite WOWers!!!

I got my new "O" magazine!! :-) ...I didn't have time...or energy yesterday...to read it, but I feel better physically today, so here I come "O"!! It's all about de-cluttering it appears. I flipped through a few pages. I can't wait to read the article, with the funniest pictures, of Gayle King going through the clothes in her closet! ^_^ I think I saw a few pieces that look familiar...to my closet!!!...WOW!! ^_^

Yep! This one looks like a real goodie!!...Who knows! Maybe if I pay close attention I'll be eating better and be all organized! LOL My house could be looking like Oprah's in no time!!!
I think that's waaaay too much to expect from a magazine! LOL I better just keep my mind on what we're gonna do about transportation next week! That's enough to think about...organizing my thoughts! :-)

I'm feeling butterfly-ish.
Wanna flutter...move real slow.
Wanna wander...mind and body.
Not be fast, and 'on the go'.
I'm feeling like I need
a quiet day to hang around.
Have everything wrapped up,
and just block out surrounding sound.
I'm feeling butterfly-ish.
Wanna lay in bed till noon.
Wanna have some time to morph.
Need a tree and a cocoon.
I'm feeling that today
it's time to change and modify.
To spread my wings, add color,
like a brand new butterfly.
I'm feeling butterfly-ish.
