Yes...I know what's on a lot of people's minds today, and my heart goes out to the families of those who have lost someone they love. Death and change and bad memories are never easy. Thankfully I know that the world's future is shiny and perfect and fear-free. I'll be happy to tell everyone I come in contact with today about it.
With the crisp September air coming through my window, and birds gently squawking their territory call, my hubby softly breathing beside me, and the silent whirring of my air purifier, I sit and ponder the 'good' of September and things that give me a chuckle or a smile. That's what I want to share with you today.

Okay....time to close the window and wake up the hubby so we can get some breakfast before our early meeting today...Later on today it'll be watching the U.S. Open Tennis finals between Samantha Stosur and Serena Williams, and more crocheting on my Fall inspired scarf. (I'll show it to you tomorrow)
Please find some time to think some good thoughts of September today. There's certainly going to be enough sad ones to go around...Here's my attempt at starting a September good thought for you today. :-]
September
The changing of the seasons,
squirrels that scurry everywhere,
a cup of steeping apple cider,
and the crisp and cooler air.
Cozy scarves and football games,
and harder to get out of bed,
worrying whether frost will come,
and what is flying overhead.
September brings a lot of thoughts,
and some reflection will be sad.
But as the years and seasons change,
good thoughts replace the bad we've had.
