Cruciani bracelets?!... O_O ...And A Shawl Update!

      I went my whole life without ever hearing anything about Cruciani bracelets, and in one day...that day being today!...I've heard about them two different times!! O_O Have you heard of them?!

     I first heard about them on a blog post done by the blogger of SavvySpice. They were mentioned and shown in a post she did entitled 'One Night In Milan'. {You can follow the link over to her blog and read the whole post if you like! ^_^ It was very interesting.}

     And, of course, since I'd never heard of them, I went on a search on Etsy to see if I was the only one in the dark about Cruciani bracelets! ^_^ And I found that...uhhh...I 'may be' the only one that's never heard of them!! LOL...TYPICAL!!! ^_^

      Creativity still reigns on Etsy! ^_^ Oh, if only I could figure out a way to crochet some of these 'bad boys'!! LOL But for now...I'm sticking with my shawls. :-] ... Speaking of which, here's a quick 'where-are-you-now' shawl update! :-) ... The blue and white one has gone from this...

      Well...I could complain!...but I won't! ^_^ Except to say that focusing on more crocheting has put a 'kink' in my desire to blog as much! O_O ... But as you can see...I'm still here yakking my head off!... (That would be 'talking', not 'throwing up'...both sometimes being referred to as 'yakking'!!!! LOL)

Sometimes It's Just Funny!

 As a 50 (something) lady,
humor has to be a goal!
If I can't laugh at myself
I just go gray and wait for old.

Blogging at my aging
gives my mind something to do.
But it's nice to have a partner
I can laugh at sometimes too! 

Thankfully There "IS" Something To Giggle At!

      Maybe I'm over-tired or something, but the last couple of days I've found myself giggling at random things, like some kind of crazy woman! ^_^ ...For instance, I giggled at the reaction of people that were interviewed about the black bear roaming in a local neighborhood...It wasn't so much what they were saying. It was more about my brain and what I was thinking about when I saw the video. I was thinking about what some of my relatives would say or do if they came out of their houses to get in their cars and saw a black bear in the yard! Ha! Ha!...I'm not gonna get into the details, but trust me...it's funny to think about! Hilarious even!! ^_^

     I started giggling when I saw the commercial...for the umpteenth thousandth time...about the guy... ^_^ ...I almost said "nut"!...that is planning to walk a tightrope across Niagara Falls tonight on LIVE TV!!...He's not the first guy that's done some kind of stunt to get publicity, so it's not just his doing it that was funny to me. What was funny was when hubby told me that the guy was upset because the authorities are gonna make him wear a harness. He said it was gonna throw his balance off! ^_^

         WOW! How ridiculously insensitive of the authorities, trying to stop him from killing his fool self!! ^_^ ...I'm not watching it! But I'm sure I'm gonna be seeing all kinds of news trailers all over TV tomorrow though....either way it turns out!  I only hope it still remains something to giggle about! O_O

        I giggled at the video I saw of the little chimp playing with the baby through the window at the zoo...

     ...not because it was all that funny in itself, but because I wondered what the chimp and the baby must've been thinking during the whole encounter....and 'that' was funny! ^_^
        It's been one thing after another, with the giggling. And considering that there's so many serious things going on in the world....deaths, large wild-fires, flooding, Lance Armstrong being accused of drug doping O_O, etc...things not funny in the least little bit...I guess I'm grateful for the respite...tired though I am...from so much serious stuff, and to have a little something to giggle at....besides hubby's cooking attempts and new dance moves I mean. ^_^ Oh! I wish I had video of these things to show you!! LOL

     Something I do wanna show you, but nothing to giggle at so much, is the Etsy items that made me smile :-) ...

      No giggling there, right?!...Just smiles! :-) ...But back to my giggling subject, let me ask YOU, have you ever found yourself giggling about something that other people didn't find that funny?!...Or starting to giggle about something and not being able to stop yourself?!...It even happens to famous tennis players! :-)) ...
