My post today, though, is about zipping my lips!...Or, rather, the lack of zipping my lips! ^_^ Teresa, of Hollyhocks blog, presented me with...

The rules of the award are first, don't forget to take your award! Then the rules say that I'm supposed to share with you 7 random facts about myself, and then pass the award on to 15 other blogs that I feel merit this honor...So, here goes, seven random facts about me....besides the tons of random, useless facts I've already told you in the past...whether you wanted to know them or not!! LOL
1. When I was in Junior High School, our school used to take 'Field Trips' to different places (museums, parks, zoos, etc...). While most of the kids would be trying to get away from the back of the bus, I would strategically plan to be the first one on the bus so that that's where I'd be riding...in the back!!...all the way in the back! ^_^
... I loved sitting in the middle of the bench seat in the back. I could see everything, and everybody, on the bus, and 'hold court' sorta, talking and laughing and singing songs with my friends. :-)
2. As much as I LOVE wearing make-up, pretty clothes and jewelry, and having everything coordinated and pulled together, I am not a 'touch up' kinda girl...

Maybe if I had some makeup like this (above) it would've been different, but no!...Once I was out the door, makeup in place, that was it! You would never see me going to a bathroom during lunch or something just to re-apply make-up and check my hair!....Going in there to use the bathroom?....Yes!....And I would straighten and check everything while I was in there for that reason. But go into the bathroom strictly to re-put on make-up or fix my hair?....No!...How I left the house was the way it rolled all day!!...
Some days I'd get home and see myself in the mirror, and my hair would be flying everywhere and my lipstick would be all blotchy...like a bad Picasso painting! And still...the next day I'd leave the house and do the same thing!...As I say, I'm not a 'touch up' kinda girl! LOL Whatever kind of messy look you'd find me in, my attitude would be: 'Don't hate me because I'm beautiful!' ^_^
3. When it comes to chicken,...baked, sauteed or fried,...I prefer white meat. Breasts and wings....period!...

...And if it's a choice between the breast OR wing....it's wings. ^_^ I'm not one of those "There's more juiciness and flavor in the dark meat" type of girls...In fact, if it was up to me, all chickens would be leg-less and have ten wings...Just saying! LOL...They'd be sitting on the ground 24/7 and have to lean sideways to lay an egg....and I'd be happy for them! ^_^

5. I don't indiscriminately follow blogs. I follow blogs that I know I'll read and enjoy, whether they ever come and follow me or comment back or not...I check on every one of them every day too. Some of them probably don't even know I exist! But I follow them anyway...and enjoy them!...Now, this doesn't mean that I read every one of them every day. Sometimes I can see from the lead in lines that it's something that's not my 'cup of tea' that day...so to speak. But if it catches my eye, I read them...even though I don't always feel the need to comment.
On the flip side, I delete blogs that have become uninteresting to me, or for one reason or the other does not encourage me to want to read them anymore. It may just be that a blog is going in a direction from where my mind is right now, or from where they were before. It's not about judging anyone's blog or anything like that. We all have our own interests....Deleting blogs doesn't happen often though, because I'm so careful about who I follow in the first place.

...And those of you who know me in real life, STOP LAUGHING!!! LOL...Okay, maybe saying 'few' was stretching it a bit! ^_^ Case in point:..
--- I have to have one foot out from under the cover when I go to bed....in order to breathe! LOL
---.I hyperventilate almost at the idea of too many people having keys to my house!....*deep breath*...The housekeeper had to almost go into a key contract before I gave her one!!...And one time she lost it....And I almost lost my mind!!! O_O Thankfully she found it in her closet at home. If it had been lost outside somewhere, she would have had to go into the 'house key witness protection program'!!! LOL
---I like all of my food on my plate separated....unless they're potatoes (potatoes can mix it up anywhere they want! LOL), but then I have to mix them all together on my fork before I take each bite. O_0 ......Don't ask! I don't know what that's about!!!
---My food needs to be steaming hot when I eat...Not luke warm..Not tepid....Not easily eatable!! LOL It has to be so hot that I have to blow on it and wait for it to cool down. Trust me! It doesn't taste the same luke warm. And it doesn't smell the same, or have the same texture either!!!......Why are you looking at me like that?! O_O
There are more quirks, but I think you've laughed at me enough for one day!! LOL
7. I love being alone as much as I love being with tons of people! I'm as comfortable at a large gathering with lots of friends as I am sitting at home for hours, crocheting and playing Scrabble by myself....
