It's time to get back on the 'New-Week Pony' Y'all....and ride!! ^_^ Did you have a good weekend?!...Are you ready to start the week again?!...We had a pretty good weekend. The weather was nice. There were no big surprises...Phew! And I was actually able to get a little sleep, and a couple of new things crocheted!
First, I wanna show you the three cool things I had my eye on...on Etsy, of course! :-) One is this beautiful piece of pottery...
...Just looking at it makes me smile...and makes me wanna click the "Add To Cart" button!! I think it's because of my Cherokee Indian heritage. Although I don't know what tribe this piece is representative of...It doesn't matter. It's beautiful, isn't it?!
Another piece is this summery looking necklace...
With that pretty shell, and, of course, that pretty flower, I just wanted to get it, throw it on with some flip flops and a wrap skirt, and go find a beach or a barbecue somewhere! ^_^ Okay...a barbecue. You know I'm not a beach person....sand between my toes...YUCK! LOL
Lastly....just because...
I'm always drawn to gold and yellow jewelry. I don't know why, but who cares why! ^_^ But wait a minute!....maybe it's because they look like honey! YUM! :-) ...Uhhhh...can you tell it's breakfast time now?!
Okay, before I ride off into the "New-Week" sunset...or sunrise, since it's BREAKFAST TIME!...let me show you the two new items I made over the weekend.
One was a new crochet ring, a green and white one...Okay, I can't stay away from the green!!!! LOL I'm convinced that there's gonna be a bride or a formal occasion where someone just has to have GREEEEEEEN!!! ^_^ ... Or it could be because that's my favorite color right now, and my brain keeps saying: "Make a green one. I don't think you have one like that yet!" LOL
JUST LOOK AT THE RING!!!! Ignore the old lady lumpy hand! ^_^ YIKES! What was I thinking, using my own hand for a cute flower photo?!! LOL
Yeah...show it from the palm area. That's better! LOL
Then I made this...
IGNORE THE YARN SPOOL! LOL...I was experimenting at a new way to photograph one of my cuff link lapel pin boutonnieres. What do you think of having the spool of yarn under it?!
It was very colorful anyway! :-)
I can hardly believe that I went into the vault and pulled out one of my rare Swarovski Crystal fly buttons to put on here!...Now it's just gonna be a matter of me not over-pricing it just so no one will buy it! LOL...Because I know how rare they are, I kinda don't want to sell them. But I've got to use them. What kinda nut keeps buttons, even rare buttons, in a plastic container, wrapped up in pink foam tissue paper, and just opens it every once in a while to look at them and smile?! O_O ... Don't be judging the crazy person, neither!!!
