      Sorry, but I'm not in the mood to do a lot of talking today. In fact, I've had a really rough...and when I say rough, I mean ROUGH day!! I may be up to telling you about it tomorrow. But today I just wanted to be quiet...do some crocheting...chit chat with the hubby...and cry a little.

      I can tell you that even though it wasn't that great of a day, I did find a couple of things to smile about. Including this cute drawing. :-) ...

      Yep!...It's Monday alright! ^_^ And I'm already 'off to the races' this morning! I've got a package to ship out of the country, and some mittens to finish crocheting, and ship!

      I needed some Monday inspiration though. So I found this gorgeous shop full of watercolor paintings to share with you. It'll help me show you what my Monday is gonna look like! :-) And it'll show off Rachel's amazing talent!!

      I've got a real 'case of the Mondays' this morning. You know...the kind of Monday where you barely have gotten over the weekend, and now you have a mountain of scheduled 'must dos' ahead of you...that you really aren't ready 'TO DO'!!

    Thankfully it looks like it's gonna be a beautiful day 'weather-wise'! So that at least the mountain of 'must dos' that I have to do today can be done without aches and pains. Well...not as many aches and pains! Unfortunately there's always at least one or two 'ouchies' lurking somewhere in this body of mine!! ^_^

      Hello Monday!! I'm coming at Ya! :-)) ...with studying to do, reading to catch up on, and crocheting to amuse myself with...Speaking of which, I amused myself with these yesterday! :-) ...

     ...A boutonniere in topaz, white and turquoise (above)...And one in royal blue, turquoise and white! (below) :-)
 

       I listed them in the Wuglyees shop yesterday. And I've got a list of other boutonnieres and lapel pins to 'MONDAY' around with today! ^_^

      I've also got some sick friends and family to re-connect with, and so, so much more stuff to do too!!!...*sigh*...What a time to have a case of the Mondays!...when I wish it was another Friday! :-))

      Is it wrong, on a Monday, to pretend that it's a Friday, so that you can make it to a Wednesday, and forget there ever was a Tuesday. A Tuesday that you wished was a Thursday anyway, because it precedes your beloved Friday?!!! ^_^

I'm Looking For Signs Of Spring!

         It's Monday...It's the beginning of a new week.....It's almost the end of March.....and it's SPRING! :-) ... Uhhhh....I think it's Spring! O_O Looking out my window into the backyard, it would be hard to know for sure that it, in fact, 'is' Spring!..That's why I decided to look for signs of Spring today.

       Now, I'll show you why I'm looking for Spring....It's because of this!...

       We have cloudy gray skies, temperatures in the low 30s (Fahrenheit), and snow still on the ground! O_O Sad, isn't it?!...And it's suppose to be Spring!!...I'm glad there's still signs of Spring's coming...

     ...could really put you in a bad mood!!...I mean, I thought that by now there would be birds looking for Spring nesting material, and I'd be on the impatient wait for my dear hummingbirds to return!
       Instead I'm watching hubby going back and forth to the window, looking at the almost empty suet bird feeder, and saying: "Should I put another one out there, or clean the hummingbird feeder?!...Will the winter birds scare off the hummingbirds if they show up at the same time?! O_O"
       I keep saying: "I don't know.....I don't know....I DON'T KNOW!!!!"... All I know is that it sure doesn't feel..or look...like Spring!! Spring would look like this!...

Bye, Bye, Weekend...Another Colorful Monday Is Upon Us!

      Hello Monday!..I would say: 'Nice to see you!', but...uhhhh...I don't think it is!...nice to see you, I mean! Ugh!...It was nice to see the weekend!! The weekend brought us a visitor who gave us wonderful encouragement, and it sent us a friend who made us beans and rice and delicious ham! YUM!

        The weekend gave us all kinds of nap and crochet time, and saw the finishing of my husband's crocheted scarf...finally! :-) He needs some help putting fringes on it...Photos coming later this week! :-)

     The weekend also brought some good ideas...like this beautiful journal to put poetry in!...

     I haven't been writing as much poetry since my boutonniere business took off, but over the weekend I had a little bit of a breather, and I thought about writing a fresh new poem! :-) ...No, I didn't actually write one!...but I 'thought about' it! LOL...I write in spurts of energy when I'm inspired. And lately crocheting, and color, is inspiring me more than poetry. But I have poetry on my brain now, so who knows what will happen...Stay tuned! :-]

     Speaking of color though, let me show you a colorful pair of earrings that wowed me this weekend!...

     They're so pretty, aren't they?!...If I could crochet some like this I would be all over it!!!...But my colorful crocheting is of these little lapel 'babies'...

     There were some others too, but I already listed some of them...that was something else the weekend gave me time to do!...I have a few that I have to photograph and list. Maybe I'll get to it later today. GREEN is among them! I finally found some green thread that I liked at the store over the weekend!!...I love Mr. Weekend!...Well, this past Mr. Weekend! ^_^ It was sunny. We didn't get any more snow!!! :-) And my favorite woodpecker made our feeder his home! :-) 

         Okay Monday!...the challenge is on for you to now outshine Mr. Weekend in your own colorful way! :-] I know you can do it! You have to! You have to set an example for the other four weekdays that follow right behind you!! :-)
