Kissinglass...And A Black Cat!

I did it again!!...And no, I'm not talking about sleeping waaay too long...even though I did that too! ^_^ I'm talking about running into another shop on etsy with a bunch of unique, one of a kind, items in it!
I Love the candle holder in the header photo, with the twisty tree and the cat sitting in it. :-) ...Actually, I love the whole kissinglass shop!...and every single recycled glass piece!!...How cool that every piece has a signature ladybug on them! :-) Oh! The detail on each piece is amazing!...and looking for the ladybug on each piece is kinda fun too! :-)

And as much as I love the twisty tree with the cat, that's not my favorite piece in the shop! My favorite piece is this red art vase with the sculptured raven silhouetted onto it with foliage....

Yes, I love it because it's so colorful! But also the shape of it is fabulous! I can almost see some red roses that hubby gave me in there already!....Ummmm...*yelling into the other room*..."Did you hear that honey?!!!!!" LOL
Anyway!...I love the red one. But if you've been here long enough you know that red is not necessarily my favorite color....That would be GREEN. And guess what?!...There's a Malachite green art vase in the shop too! And it also has a raven! :-) ...

Me and ravens go waaay back!...Back to high school, when my English teacher made us learn about poetry....Edgar Allen Poe poetry to be exact!..."The Raven". It started: "Once upon a midnight dreary...." *cold shiver!*...That poem used to scare me to death!! O_O ...It's still not 'my' kind of poetry, but what I remember from reading and studying it in high school was how words can be so powerful. They can make your emotions soar...for good or for bad...And for me, that poem's emotion inducement was definitely for bad!! ^_^ ...But seeing ravens on a beautiful piece of art glass....is definitely for good! :-)

Moving on!!...Something else that was done 'again' yesterday, was that one of my Wuglyees shop items was chosen for a treasury! :-) ...(Actually there were three treasuries with my items in them yesterday!!! ^_^ I was so flattered...I'll show you the other two tomorrow.)...The item that was chosen was my gray, black and white flower button headband...

It was included in Natalia Georgieva's treasury entitled Black Cat...

I feel very honored to have my headband sharing a 'virtual' gallery space with here, alongside these items (below)...

          {This outfit is $20.00!!!!!...I just had to tell you that!}

Nice, right?! :-] ... Not I have my mind on something black! :-)) So, maybe I need to make something black! ^_^ I know I need to make something red...a replacement...because I sold a red men's boutonniere yesterday! Woohoo!!! :-]
Maybe it'll be a red or black version of these fingerless gloves!...

I finished them last night! :-) And as you can see, I added a little drawstring, flower dangle to one of them...

So far I've only put this dangle on one glove. I'm debating with myself on whether I should put one on both gloves...or would that be too kindergarten. What do you think?!

      Right now they're 'haute couture'-like!! LOL...Well, sorta! ^_^

Okay...I'm off to get my day started....finally! ^_^ Yes, I'm still having a little struggle with the scheduling thing now that hubby is home. I'm using to having my blog post up before 9 a.m. And that's what I'm still aiming for!!! LOL I'm only an hour and a half late today!! LOL I'll get back there. I'm determined!!! ^_^ Have a good day everybody!!

GREEN

Beans, asparagus,cabbage and frogs,
cucumbers, shamrocks, and moss on old logs.

Leaves, trees, and tangy mint jam,
Dr. Seuss stories of green eggs and ham.

Grasshoppers, apples, and new lawn-cut grass,
tropical waters and thick bottled glass.

 Pistachio, collards, and yes...Money too!
And don't forget envy. It's green when you stew!

Ecologically aware, reusably clean.
Either way. They both are called "green".

A color, a feeling, a veggie, all fun!
And also my favorite color is one!
