Darkness And Rain Doesn't Stop Me!!

It's another dark, heavy raining day here in Massachusetts...*shaking my head*...Massachusetts, Massachusetts, Massachusetts!!
Anyway!!...The good thing about rainy days is that it gives me an opportunity to take an even closer look around at other blogs to see what everybody is up to! :-) And then I get to share it with you!! :-)
Lately I've been exploring this whole 'blog hop' thing. I haven't joined a lot of them.....Okay, I've only joined one!...*Teehee*  Yes, I have time, but I don't have THAT kinda time!!...:-))
I have been doing a little 'sneak looking' at some of the blogs on some of the 'blog hop' lists though! And I've actually started following some new blogs too!...Food blogs mostly! Ohhhhhh! The food!!!! :-)
Apples and Twinkees blog...(You already know why I'm following this blog, right?! ^_^)...has a recipe right now for Double Chocolate Pudding!
Who knew I could make my own?! ^_^ And it's almost as easy as ripping off the lid on one of the store-bought ones! :-))
Ezra Pound Cake also has a recipe for Morning Glory Muffins!!
Need I say more?!....Yum!!! They've got grated carrots, shredded coconut, raisins, pineapples, pecans and apple!! The recipe is at the link above....RUN, don't walk your fingers over to the blog to get it!! ^_^ ...If I had the ingredients in the house, and the money to hire a chef to come and make them for me, I'd be having these for breakfast this rainy day in Massachusetts! Along with a hot cup of coffee!! :-) {Nope! Haven't had any for a couple of days or more now...but this morning?!....hmmmmm!} (I guess I 'did' need to say more! ^_^)
And I can't show you the pictures...you have to go to the blog to see it for yourselves...but another one of the new blogs I'm following now, Sprinkled With Flour, has a recipe for Banoffee Surprise Pie!...Let me just say three things about this recipe that'll make your clicker finger go crazy!....Bananas, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and peanut butter!!...Hello! Are you still here?! O_O
Oh well, I knew I was taking a chance on losing everybody if I said the ingredients! Ha! Ha!...For those of you still here, Vicki...of the blog 2 Bags Full...has a Giveaway going on right now. It's for this wonderfully colorful bag!...
And there's flowers on it too! :-) There's also an opportunity for another bag, and another little goodie too! You have to follow the blog link above, over to her blog, to read all about what it is, and to enter! The drawing for them is November 4th!
You know, a rainy day in Massachusetts has some perks! :-) Including music...

No, I don't foresee much crocheting going on today. But I do have some studying to finish for my Bible based meeting tonight. And after a little massage, and a nap or two, I might even watch an old movie or something. Who knows...I might even play a game of one man Scrabble!  (I like playing by myself when hubby's not here...honing my 'beat-your-socks-off' skills! LOL)
Ashley, Aron, and new baby, Hudson...of the blog Hither & Thither...went on a road trip last weekend...
...and hubby and I thought that their destination was such a great, great idea, that we decided to go too! So I'll be making some travel plans and fixing an itinerary for the trip today too...We don't know why we never thought about going here for 'Friday Date Night' before!...DUH!!!...I'll tell you all about it tomorrow. :-)
For those of you who watched the above Bee Gees video. Here's that second song they were talking about at the end. Enjoy!! :-) And have a good rainy or dry Thursday everybody!! :-)

Blogger/Looker

They're blogs of folks I hardly know.
Why do I like looking at them so?

I watch their children laugh and grow,
and every bead and artwork crow.

No, I don't do it for the 'dough'!
On my blog there's no money flow.

I like to scroll and take it slow.
An easy read, and 'Peep and Go'!

Updated blogs, all in a row,
and a new day. What will they show?!

I'm not some kind of stalker though.
I'm just a blogger/looker pro!

This Post Is 'Going To The Dogs'!

Say hello to 'Encore'. He belongs to the owner of the blog A "Cheery" Disposition. :-) This photo, showing off 'his' cheery disposition, was the perfect header for today's post about my bloggie pal's beloved pooches.
The idea for this post came to my mind because I haven't been feeling all that great the last few days. {Allergies I think.} I've been exhausted, stuffy, head-achy on occasion, and just plain lethargic. I've just been wanting to cuddle up in one spot and do.....NOTHING! :-) Like I did when I was a kid.
On sick days when I was a kid I would hang out on my bed, watching T.V., eating soup and crackers, and cuddling with my beloved sympathy-eyed doggie, Tracy...*Pause: Taking a moment for an 'Awwwww feeling'*...She was all I needed at that time, to make the blues and the sickie girl feelings go away...And as I look around Blog-Land I can see that my pooch didn't 'break the mold' on what a good pooch's roll is in a family!
Art and Sew Forth loves her dogs too!
*Teehee*....What?!....So what if he's not a 'real' doggie! He's a doggie just the same! :-)) And, by the way, she also loves her same pet-like cats.
And just to acknowledge that everybody loves their pets, no matter what kind of pets they are, here's a nod to a few other pet loving bloggers: Jo-anne of Blooming Lovely. Her ginger Kitty, C.K.,  just recently had a Yarn Caper that'll make you laugh! ^_^)
Cindy of CinLynn Boutique loves her kitties...; Bumpkin loves her bears! :-) And Things I'll Forget By Tomorrow has some NOT so pet-worthy squirrels! (Another post that might have anyone that's ever had a squirrel in their yard laugh. LOL
I may do another post in the future on everybody's pets, but today this post is strictly going to the dogs!...
Say a big hello to Morgan, a resident of the blog Holyoke Home.
I have found myself howling with laughter at the posts she's done with Morgan 'talking'...kinda! LOL
And Tuppence hasn't been Mythreebeez's resident very long...
...but it's clear that he couldn't be any more loved if he wanted to be already!
And who couldn't love this face?! :-]
This little loved one is from the blog Framed Cooks. An ad in the paper for him would read: loves days with, or without, snow...probably more without! Loves people. And loves eating stuff off of the floor that falls there while it's owner is preparing food to show other people! ^_^
He'll never see a wanted ad though. He's too good of a friend...and foot warmer. :-))
This lovable little pooch is kinda new to me. I only recently started following the blog OLD BRAND NEW.
But I can see that he's full of personality! I'm gonna keep my eye on him. I'll let you know if anything interesting happens...before he destroys the brand new rug I mean. LOL
Puppies, you make me happy! :-) And you make me feel better just looking at you!...Speaking of which, here's a couple of doggie commercials that made me giggle. They're only about a minute each, but you'll be able to see right away why these pooches were used for these commercials. ^_^

And I'm throwing this short video in here just because it made me smile the big smile!!!...And because I'm married and have good memories of my proposal...And because I love creativity...And there actually might be a picture of a dog in it!!....A hot dog! ^_^

Have a good day Everybody!!! :-)

Now Let Me See.....What Are YOU All Up To?!!

I was catching up on my blog reading this morning (I always try to do that before I do my post for the day...I'm always up sooooo early in the morning!), and I came across so many fabulous things on the blogs that I decided I would share! :-)
The first thing that caught my eye was this gorgeous photo in my header! I saw it on one of my favorite blogs, A CUP OF JO. The post was entitled Sunrise bubbles. Perfect photo, and perfect title for me this morning! It was taken by the Norwegian Photographer Odin Hole Standal. I think it's just an exquisite shot!! Jo has more photographs of the bubbles HERE!
Then there was some brain food! :-) I love it when my 'catching up' involves me learning something I was always curious about, but never knew!...You ever see this icon on blogs?!
Well, this morning, on the blog GUIDEBOOK, I found out what it means! It means that the blog that has this icon has an RSS feed. Basically, it has to do with the way people subscribe to, and read, your blog. You can click on the icon above to take you over to the blog post that tells you all about it! There's also links there for how to set it up and everything!...Good to know, right?!
Next, I need a baby!! LOL Why? Look at these shoes!!!
On the blog Elle THE HEIRESS Elle was sharing her Pinterest beauties...things she likes on Pinterest. And these baby shoes were there! They're from ithinksew.com. Aren't they fabulous?!! 'I think so'!!! ^_^
She had a couple of other things she 'pinned' too!...Continuing my 'I need a baby' theme....

A little poem...It says preceding the poem: "Advice from my mama". And my favorite catch line is, of course, the last...Babies Don't Keep!!...Awwwwwwww! They sure don't!!!....Uhhhh....that's why I think I never had any! LOL
And who wouldn't love this little Pinterest 'pin' choice?!...Anybody that's yarn crazy, like me, I mean!! ^_^ You have to click on the photo for this cute little yarn wreath. It'll take you to Joann.com where you can find it.

Elle had some other good things she 'pinned' too. Go HERE to see the rest.
Last, but certainly not least, of what I saw when I was reading blogs this morning, was this beautiful photo on the blog journallingthroughphotos.
Kamana takes beautiful photographs. I love going by to peep at what she's seen through her lens. It was nice to find such beautiful 'LOVE' there this morning. :-]
In fact, I get a lot of joy from seeing what all of you are doing. I try to say so, if I can, through my comments.
Now...What am "I" up to?!!...Take a guess?! ^_^ What else.....CIRCLES......Yoyos!! (Made me think of a song! ^_^ You can click HERE to see which one.)
This was the last set I had to finish. 10 sets....DONE!!
After I was all done I had to put the individual sets in numbered bags so I can easily retrieve them for assembling them.
Then I had to make up my mind about what color would be the main color of the 5. White would get dirty too fast, and too often...Green would have been my color, but not many people carry green bags...purple was pretty, but again, not a color people carry often (especially every day)...red was the color Alittlesprite's bag was in. Gorgeous, but I wanted to see it in another color as well....So, brown it is!!
So I got started. I connected the first 4. This was no small thing either! I had to figure out what end to start on, and pay attention very closely to the way they needed to be connected. But......DONE!
That's the process I'm into right now. I'm not doing too badly either!! :-) I'm more than half way done with putting them together...SEE!!!
So, while I finish the other blog posts that popped up while I was doing this one, I'll be putting the rest of my circles together! Don't you wish you were here to help me?! ^_^
Now let me see.......Oh Yeah! A poem!! :-) Have a good day everybody!!

Around the Bloggie World

Blue birds, with tails extended.
New tutorial writers too.
New cameras at the ready,
all enhance my bloggie view.

Face sketches, eyes so pretty.
Flower earrings to give away.
And all kinds of crafty candy
also being given away today.

A painting of weeping skies;
a musical horn made into cake;
a miniature calendar
and a snow scene by a lake.

A new haircut, all snazzy;
A butterfly print. It's her first win!!
A Himalayan trek,
and baked cookies in a homemade tin.

I love the things I see
when I look at my Bloggie world.
It's exciting for a writer
whose a curiously nosy girl!
