It's All About LOVE On Fridays, Right?!!

      I did a post late last night, so I'm not gonna do a lot of talking here this morning...and STOP clapping Y'all!! ^_^ But I did wanna say 'Happy Virtual Friday' to my husband. My hard working support system. ♥♥♥ He's had his hands full lately, but he's handling it like a 'trooper'!! ♥

      We're gonna just spend the day alone in a tent somewhere. I'm not gonna tell you where because somebody might show up and 'squash' our Friday vibe!! LOL As it is our trip might be delayed by another round of blood-work. But whatever! I can do blood-work now! Go ahead, white-coated vampires!! Take all you want...Uhhhhh...within reason! O_O

     I'm all about Friday...and Love...and Music...today! :-) And I hope your Friday has lots of the same! Happy Friday, Everybody!! ♥♥♥

Marital Language

Does your husband speak your language?

I should probably warn you, I'll be just fine...

Here's why...because I'm happy...." ♫

        In case you don't recognize the lyrics, those are the words from Pharrell Williams' song, "Happy".  I woke up this morning with them playing over and over in my mental song looped head......*In case you're new to the blog and you don't know about this, I wake up every morning with a song playing in my head...for no apparent reason. It could be a wordless tune from a commercial, or just a random classical, pop, country, etc song..Doesn't matter...But there is ALWAYS a song of some kind playing in my head when I wake up!...as if my dreams have theme music! ^_^)

      And as it turns out....I'm in a good mood! :-) My head cold seems to be gone. And the cold sore on my lip almost is too!...The huge snowstorm that was suppose to hit us, starting tonight, apparently is gonna be just a dusting, or one or two inches of snow, by the time it reaches us here in Holyoke! :-)...And the doctor's appointment that I was fretting over has been changed to next week!! ^_^

       I feel like a dancing school kid this morning!! ^_^ ... Now, add to this that hubby offered to make me pancakes...and you really got a lot of Sunday morning happy going on!! ^_^ But...... 

         "Uhhhhhh...hold up, Mr. Sunday Morning Pancake Cowboy! O_O What did you say?!...We don't have enough pancake mix?! O_O......Uhhhhh...You're gonna do what?!...Find something else to mix with it, and put more water in it to make it stretch?!...You think I'll be happy with them?!.....Uhhhh...Thank you, but no!...I don't want pancakes that look like pancakes, but taste like something else!!...I'd rather not have pancakes at all. Thank you very much! Don't mess with my 'happy' this morning!!" 
        
      Sometimes happy is going just a little bit too far!! LOL 

      Anyway!! ^_^ I was in such a good mood this morning that, with a happy song playing in my head, I headed over to Etsy to scroll and look for 'Happy'! This is what I found! :-) ...

      I found signs of Spring, and lots of happy color! :-) You know how it is when you're in a good mood...Happy. :-) You find what you're looking for...every...single...time! ^_^ ♫ So, I'm happy!! ♫ ... I hope you find your happy today too! But if the school kids in the video above didn't do it........I don't know what to tell you! ^_^

Happy Weather People

Weather people are so happy!
So excited about their maps!
Always smiling on the T.V.,
like there's sunshine in their laps.

They're a chitty chatty bunch.
Talking radars and jet streams.
Strangely when the weather turns
their eyes glaze over, and face beams.

I don't know how they are so happy
when there's snow and rain and sleet;
When they do outdoors reporting,
smiling, while with soaking feet!

The places that they go
are where most folks are running from!
Are they brave?, selfless?, crazy?,
 or just really, really dumb?!

I cannot imagine
how they hold their heads up high,
when most folks can't stand their forecasts,
and they make folks want to cry.

They seem so proud and happy;
Fancy ties and great hair-dos!
Disgruntled comments bounce right off,
as do our frequent hiss and boos!!

The conclusion that I've reached
is that they have a 'Happy Gene'.
But, no doubt, they would just say
that they're reporting what they've seen.

Hey! They were not there
when wind and force moved things around!
But they're happy to be able
to now tell us where it's bound! 

I Needed Some 'Happy' and......I Got It!!!

      When you're having a bad day, like I was having yesterday, it's nice when you can see that 'someone' is going out of their way to help you get encouragement. :-) And that's what happened to me! 
     I wanted to take a long nap...longer than my usual I mean... ^_^ ...and wake up and have the day have been a bad dream. But no!....It was real alright!! So, the next best thing to a 'Nap-of Forgetfulness' was being able to redirect my mind into a positive place. And thanks to some Bible reading, music, crocheting, and wonderfully encouraging comments from all of you, it worked! I'm in a much better mental place this morning! :-) Your thoughtful words were very appreciated. THANK YOU! 
      And also appreciated was this quote that I saw on the blog bitsotruth..."The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything". I AGREE!!! So, today I'm on a quest to make the best of everything....with my trusty knight in shining armor by my side...Hubby is home! LOL
    He's making me a powerful happiness-inducer called....BREAKFAST right now! ^_^ And in the meantime, I thought I'd show you some things from Etsy that make me happy too! {You can click on any of the items to go to the item or the shop where they're from.}

        Considering that I'm a hummingbird watching fool these days....and they are more and more coming up to the window to watch me!...anything with the hint of a bird on it catches my attention immediately! ^_^ This particular eco-friendly zip pouch is already sold, but there's many more in the shop.     And is there any surprise as to why I like this 'Flower' cushion?! :-)

        And if you have jewelry...any kind of jewelry...you have to have somewhere to put it, right?! And being as I collect jewelry boxes, this one really made my 'clicker finger' twitch!! LOL

       I love the little butterflies on the side!
     And I've told you all about my love of pocketbooks...Look at this natural cotton knitted bag!!...with flowers!!...I'm SMILING!!!

      And this large handbag, with stripes and spots all over it.....Hmmm....reminds me of a certain black and white shawl! :-) {It's finished by the way. I'll show you soon...maybe tomorrow.}

        I don't know why this photograph of the setting sun over a farm caught my eye...but it did! And it made me very happy. :-) Maybe it was remembering a much slower time in my life, or maybe it was the beautiful sky!....Yeah, that's probably it, because we've got more rain...and more rain here in Massachusetts today!

       Why this Glitter Beret makes me happy is obvious! :-)

      And the same goes for these turquoise blue tumblers!

        And, last but not least, some music equipment!! :-)

     Isn't that a beautiful Mandolin?!!.....Reminded me of a song! :-)

Feeling Better

There's no card for "Feeling Better"!
But I think that there should be,
when my friends have sent good wishes;
and been loving up on me.

When they've sent good food to eat,
flowers, cards, emails, and calls.
When they've made it bearable
watching T.V. and 4 walls.

I'd like a card to send them back,
with a smiley face there too,
saying: "Feeling so much better;
and it's all because of you!"
