Hello November!...And Thanks For Not Bringing Snow...YET!

      Winter is the time for snow, right?!!...So imagine my surprise when the news people, last night, said that we might be getting a little snow overnight. O_O ... SNOW?!!!...NOW?!!!!...It's November! It's not December or January, when you would expect it to snow!!!...But I guess when you're the weather, you can do whatever you want, whenever you feel like it!! LOL So....Hello November!! ^_^  

      The good thing is that I'm looking at the ground outside in the backyard this morning and....YAY!...there's no snow! :-) Apparently we got a reprieve! LOL It's a good thing too! We don't need to be dealing with snow and the rearranging of rooms in our house, all at the same time!! 

      Yes, rearranging...*deep breath*...Hubby's mom is having some issues with the house, and living there by herself, so we're trying to get my craft/office room converted to a real working bedroom, so that if she comes to live with us, which I'm hoping she will because I'm really worried about her now, she'll have somewhere to call her own.

      We don't want her to feel like she's imposing on us, but with all of my yarn, sell-able items, and supplies, staring her in the face, how could she not feel that way?! O_O So, they must go! Relocated to.......uhhhhh.....that's the dilemma we're battling. Right now they're coming out of that room and some is here, there, and everywhere!

      Hopefully by the end of the day....*Okay, maybe that's wishful thinking. Let's say by the end of the week!*...my bedroom will look like a comfortable bedroom again, and all of my craft stuff...and all of the other stuff we now have found again! ^_^...will be somewhere easy to retrieve, and not in the way!!

      Isn't this wonderful Sunday talk! ^_^ Well, let's move on, shall we!...I have a couple of cuties to show you!...

      Sorry I'm so late getting my blog post up today, but I was off falling in love with some sweet little baby feet!! :-] They stopped me in my tracks this morning when I was scrolling through my Etsy activity feed...And so, a change of blog subject was necessary...I won't tell you what the 'other' blog post was gonna be. But I 'can' tell you that it was all about 'jibberywasheret'! ^_^ I'll explain some other time. (But I'd love to hear what YOU think 'jibberywasheret' is!! LOL Leave your guess in the comments below, if you're 'game'! I may send a free gift to anyone that gets it right! ^_^)

      Moving on!...Let's talk about other feet items...and other limited editions! :-) Because I have time today...before my 'virtual' date :-)...and I have feet! ^_^ And I just love places to put my feet!...look at this!!...

       Can you feel the slight lift in my mood today?!...It's because I got some news from the doctor that may mean the my road to the hospital may have a slight curve in it! ^_^ I'll have to tell you about that later too...when more developments arrive. :-]

First Snow...Where?!

      The news is all 'chat-chat' about the snow that's lightly falling in our area. Lightly falling snow means slippery roads, soft visible kitty cat footprints, and chilliness!...call it COLD!!! Brrrr!...But when I look out my window...O_O...I see leaves on the lawn, trees branches slightly blowing left and right, but....no snow falling! O_O

      I don't know where this snow is suppose to be, but it's not here!!!...and 'I ain't mad about it either!' ^_^ The only thing all of this snow 'chat-chat' makes me realize is that it's time for me to put up the suet balls for the winter birds!...Where's my pad. I better write that down! My memory is not what it used to be.....Uhhhh...now what was I talking about?! O_O

A Little This And That...While It's Snowing!

       Once again, I'm in 'slo-mo' this morning. Or for those of you not use to my short-cut sentences...I'm in 'slow motion'. I feel like my feet are in quicksand...and my head and body are repeatedly being banged on by a drum stick...or a hammer! O_O Yeah! It's one of those kind of days already!!

       The fact that it's snowing and raining, and the wind is blowing...*I'll show you a few backyard shots in a minute*...is probably the reason I'm feeling like I do...O-U-C-H!!!! O_O But you know me!...Onward and upward! :-] Let's turn some lemons into lemonade!! ^_^

     Let's see some good in this foul weather!....Good....hmmmm....like....scarves!! :-) How pretty would you be wrapped up in the scarf that's in my header photo?!!...

       

      It has such pretty colors, and you can wear it so many ways!...AND...it's not like everybody else's scarf! ^_^ It's certainly not like any of mine!!
       The scarf below is another example of a scarf not being like everybody else's!...

     Both of these Etsians (Etsy shop owners) are after my own heart with their creativity! :-) I love them!!...If only I could find a creative way to like aches and pains in the winter-time!! LOL...But there isn't that much creativity in the world presently!!! LOL

     Even my resident woodpeckers, who are in the habit lately of just hanging out on the feeder...I mean for LONG periods of time NOT eating, just checking out the lay of the land in the backyard...aren't interested in 'hanging out' in this weather!! ^_^

      Me?!...When the 'ouchiness' allows, I crochet, crochet, and crochet! :-) ...*Tomorrow I'll tell you what happened with the lady that came to question me...sorta.*

        This is my latest boutonniere...

     I worked on it while listening to the fellas sing on 'American Idol' last night...*Just saying, a couple of those guys can REALLY sing! The rest of them?!...Not so much, in my opinion...But 'Woot! Woot!' for trying!*
      
      Anyway!!...Here's the finished boutonniere...

    They're both going into the Wuglyees shop today...I've already been in the shop 'fiddling around', but just not listing anything new! I renewed a couple of things, and took some newer photos for my large yarn brooch...

     I don't have any desire to make any more large yarn brooches. The larger ones don't sell. :-( But this one was made with my rare Czech glass fly button. I just had to renew this one!! This may be the last time though. If it doesn't sell this time, I'll be taking the button off and remaking the flower into a free gift keychain!...It's funny to me that nobody really buys my keychains, but when I send them as free gifts along with their orders I get more complements on the keychains than on whatever it is that they bought!! LOL

     Okay, I'm outta here! ^_^ But let me share this one last thing with you first!...

Snow...We Hear You Knocking!

      Yep! The weather is turning on us! No more unseasonably warm winter days. We've got a rain and snow mix knocking on our door here in Holyoke...*sigh*...Well, there's no sense in getting upset about it. It can't be hot and balmy all the time, can it?!

     The only good thing is that I can crochet my way out of it!! ^_^ In fact, I'm crocheting a custom hat right now. Something I haven't done in quite a while...crocheting a hat. Crocheting anything besides boutonnieres, really!...Oooo! O_O I just remembered the unfinished rainbow blanket that's somewhere in the house here in a bag!! Oops!

     I'll think about that later! ^_^ Right now I'm thinking about hats....and SCARVES! In fact, I had to renew these in my Wuglyees shop this morning...
