Sooooo...What Are Your Leftovers Of Summer?!
Okay...so the backyard flowers may NOT look quite as beautiful as this right now!! :-)) But the photos of them...which were leftover in the camera back a while ago, in the early summer when hubby took them, are quite a beautiful leftover of summer. Don't you think?! ^_^
They were a lot nicer to look at this morning than the rainy darkness that I woke up to!! Grrrr! "GO AWAY!!!!" {No need to quote the rest of the poem to the rain. You know 'Rain, Rain, Go........!' That rain knows exactly who I'm talking to!!! Grrrrrr!}
Rainy days are a good time to do some other things though. Like re-organizing your organizing! ^_^ And that's what I'm doing today. Actually I should say 'that's what I'm continuing to do today'! I started it yesterday.
For some reason all of my little places where I keep my stuff keep getting MORE stuff!! LOL You know, the little box I keep next to the bed with my 'get-it-quick' stuff in it that I always need to get my hands on quick which use to have just my extra crochet needles, floss, tape measurer, stamps, hand lotion, emery board, nail clippers, etc...now also has batteries, safety pins, rubber bands, a calculator, a hair scrunchy, keys, etc...UGH!
I was watching Peter Walsh on Rachel Ray the other day...you know, the guy that helps people organize...and he said something that I thought was rather 'Organizer-Profound'. He held up a fork and said: 'If you found this fork in your house while you were somewhere else besides in the kitchen, you would know exactly where to take it back to! Everything in your house should be the same way. It should have a home. Somewhere that you know it belongs!'
Thus....my organizing!! ^_^ I'm trying to give all of my 'STUFF' a home!! LOL Needless to say.....I'm beginning to think Peter Walsh needs to get out of my head!!! ^_^
In other news: I finished a crochet sweater, hat, and booties set for a 6-month to one-year-old (or there about that age! ^_^).
If I can get out of my 'mad-organizer' mind some time today I'm gonna list it in my wuglyees etsy shop. :-]
I would love some feedback on it though!...Would you buy something like this as a gift?!!
Okay...I'm off to ORGANIZE!!!...something other than my typing fingers and my mind!! LOL Have a good day, Everybody!! ♥
Priorities
Big rocks of life, important things,
decisions in your prime,
require the best that you can give;
Deserve the choicest of your time.
We have to go to work;
and everyone needs time to play;
But without priorities
the speed of time will take your day.
And if you don't believe it,
try this trick, with rocks and sand;
Put rocks into a bucket.
Then fill the sand in, hand by hand.
Now, empty out your bucket,
and then fill it all back up.
But this time, put the sand in first,
the same sand, cup by cup.
The thing that you will find
is that you don't now have the room!
Putting rocks back in is now like
putting a baby back in the womb.
The rocks are goals, priorities,
the important things to you.
The sand can be most anything,
even recreation too.
Yes, Such is the challenge
when you're managing your time.
That's why Big Rocks come first!
They help prioritize the climb.

It's Not Always About Crochet Boutonnieres!
Hello! :-) ... Yes!...even though there was a lot of 'hacking and barking' through the night, we're still alive! LOL In fact, hubby is feeling much better!! So much so that he was in the mood to fry chicken yesterday! ^_^
While he was in the kitchen frying chicken, I was in the other room crocheting!...Of course I'm 'always' in the other room crocheting...but it sounds all important when I type it 'out loud'! LOL
What I was crocheting mostly was not boutonnieres this time though! :-) Even though I did steal a bit of time to make this powder blue boutonniere. :-) ...
I was gonna try to make it into a much bigger flower...the kind you put on the side of a headband or something. But the thread was waaaaay too thin...It was a ball of thread that was given to me along with some other yarns, by my girlfriend, to make some flowers for her out of.
You'd think that after spending day after day with my arthritic fingers and that thin, thin crochet thread, that I would be happy to make some bigger flowers!...but it was tough!...
This was some really thick yarn!...
The brown was a bit softer...but still thick!...
I had fun putting the thin fashion hair thread in the center of this one. (above) :-] ... And I also made one a bit larger still, with no fashion hair thread. (below)...
I'm gonna try to double some of the powder blue threads up and make another flower a little later today...First I've got to get a shipment out...and make some phone calls...and write some letters...maybe...if my fingers hold up! (We have a special event coming up, and I've got some invitations to get out!)...It's suppose to be one of the nicest weather days we've had around here in a while, and I'm aching all over!...UGH!...There is never any rhyme or reason to the functioning of this body! I just keep 'putting one foot in front of the other'...so to speak...and smiling! :-) The alternative is not an option!! LOL
All I have to say is 'YAY' for working minds, and partially working typing fingers...even if every day there's a new key on my keyboard sticking! Grrrrr! Today it's the 'h'!! ^_^ Fun is....picking a new key to hammer every day!!...Hmmm...I'm starting to sound like 'Oscar the Grouch' on Sesame Street! LOL Time to go!!!...Have a good day, Everybody! :-)

Hello!!
Greetings, Bloggers! ^_^ I'm so sorry I'm so late putting my post up today, but I woke up with a boiling stomach, pains everywhere because it's raining, and sales in my shop that had to be wrapped and shipped. And besides all of that, the nice lady that cleans for me came early, and her and I got to talking and laughing....And in between that, the phone has been ringing off the hook!!! ^_^ Hello!!
My somach is still doing a slow growl every once in a while...NOT GOOD! LOL...but at least I have a few minutes now to sit here and say: "Hello!" :-) ..."How ya doing?!"..."Whatcha up to lately?!" ^_^
What I'm 'up to' today is gonna be crocheting! :-) I'm sill trying to get into a timed routine for making my tiny lapel pins. At some point I wanna be able to just replace ones going out, and make a new design color here and there as I want to...Yeah, right! ^_^ We'll see how it turns out!
I do love color though! Hello!! :-] That's probably why this pencil print caught my eye!...
I think I have boutonnieres and lapel pins in my Wuglyees shop right now in every one of these colors! :-))
But I love words...and naps too!...Hello! :-)) That's why my head is trying to nod while looking at this right now! ^_^ ...
So cool!! :-)
And speaking of cool...
I love his cake topper!!! ^_^ My hubby is in the kitchen on his rainy gloomy day, making walnut banana bread. I wish I had this cake topper to put on top of it, with some cream cheese frosting, when he's done. YUM!
Okay...I know my conversation is all over the place! But what do you want?...I'm working with a distracted mind...a distracted stomach...and a distracted crochet schedule!!...Just be thankful you didn't get me talking about the resigning pope...floating, non-powered cruise ships...the country singer Mindy McCready's death...Ocar Pistorius' murder conviction...watered down Budweiser beer...the New Zealand great white shark...snow hurricanes...etc...!...Hello!...We could've been here all day!!! ^_^
Have a good day, Everybody!! :-) Goodbye!
