     First, let me say to all of you who commented so encouragingly about my pricing issue on my blog, and through my Etsy shop email, THANK YOU!! :-) I really appreciate your taking the time to let me know your stories and experiences, and helping me to feel that I'm on the right track! ♥

     Now!....Yes...I'm actually awake enough to do a blog this morning...albeit late! ^_^ Late, because I went back to sleep after the Nadal/Federer tennis match....WOW! Was it good!!! :-] And I'll stop right here to say congratulations to my 'baby boy'...alias, Rafael Nadal! ^_^ He was fantastic!!!

      I was worried that it was gonna be the end of his Australian Open run, because of the foot issue...and the blister on the hand issue!...His serve was very hampered in the prior match he had with Dimitrov. But this match, with Roger, brought out the best in him! He served magnificently!!! :-) In fact, except for one visit from the trainer to reapply a small bandage, it was almost as if he didn't have a problem at all!!

      Anyway!...as I said, I'm awake!...as least enough to talk to you for a few minutes. ^_^ I wanted to share a few items I saw in my Etsy activity feed this morning...starting with the pretty and colorful frame in the header photo! :-) What a great place for a toddler's photo...or the family pet, huh?!

     And if you need some new walking 'kicks' (shoes), how about these new....but old vintage...ones (below)!...

     They're so cute!...and flowery! And you all know how much I love lace and flowers!! :-) 

      Along those same lines, you all know how much I love an interesting button too! :-) That's why these magnets caught my eye!...

     Last, but not least, you all also know how much I love words....written.....spoken....quoted....sewn on.....etched on.....in print.....or cursive....etc....etc....etc....WORDS!! :-)

      So, words on a napkin?!.....SURE!!...

     Words on a napkin could almost make eating more fun!! ^_^ Although, if my eating gets any more fun I could be in some real trouble!! LOL Speaking of which...it's time for breakfast! ^_^

     After breakfast I've got to get packed and get to the 'virtual' airport! Hubby and I are heading off for a loooooooong trip for our 'virtual date' tonight!! :-) In fact, we may be in-flight and out of earshot of anybody for the whole day!! :-] And then...we're heading off on another leg of the trip...to Australia, for the women's singles final!! :-) Cibulkova versus Na! I can't wait!!! ^_^

       Because you all know how much I love spending time with my crazy, loving hubby, you probably also know that we're gonna have a great weekend! ^_^ .... I hope YOU all do too!!! :-)

With 'Different' as the gauge,
it could be almost anything.
I guess that's why I keep on looking.
Hoping for that 'Different' zing.

      I was gonna start this post out by telling you all about my 'virtual date', but since that's a 'crossroads' tale...I decided to pass. ^_^ Instead I'll just let you know that it involved some quiet time...and some music...Stevie Nicks (of 'Fleetwood Mac') and Lady Antebellum to be exact! :-) 

      Now it's the day AFTER the 'virtual date'. Now What?! O_O ... I know! I'll tell you what I'll be doing today!...

Friday Date Night...Haute Couture Style!

      Bear with me on this one, Y'all! I have to try to figure out how to tell you some news without telling you any details.....Hmmmmm...I give up! ^_^ Let's just say that 'couture' has something to do with it...if it works out!...Is that vague enough?! ^_^

      Anyway!...I had to do a whole 'snap education' on the difference between 'couture'...'haute couture'...and...'bespoke'. Who knew there were so many ways to say 'Just for you, and only you, baby!' LOL 

    I know this applies to my hubby, because he's 'just for me, and only me....baby!'...especially on Fridays! ^_^ But 'haute couture', Wikipedia says, is something that's made to order for a specific customer, and it's usually made from high-quality, expensive fabric and sewn with extreme attention to detail and finished by the most experienced and capable seamstresses. It also says that "Haute" means elegant or high, and that a haute couture garment is made specifically for the wearer’s measurements and body stance.

     Hmmm...Well, you know where I headed! ^_^ "Here I come, Etsy! What do you have that's 'couture' or 'haute couture'?! :-) ... I found the hobo bag in the header photo, and these two pieces...

      They may not be 'couture' or 'haute couture', but they sure are stylishly beautiful!!!! :-]

     I'll have to tell you the rest of my personal story with couture later...whichever way it turns out! :-) ... In the meantime, let me share a couple of my latest boutonnieres...

      They 'could be' couture...if you wanted them to be!! ^_^ I'm all about doing a custom order!! Just contact me and tell me what you want! :-)

Bacon.....and eggs?!!! Really?!!

     Was that wrong?!... ^_^ ...to lure you here with a vision of bacon and an egg, only to let you find out that it's not an eatable bacon and egg?!!...sorry. :-) But that's the same thing that happened to me! LOL I saw it yesterday when I was in full 'waiting for breakfast' mode....hubby was in the kitchen! :-) 

      When I first realized that it was soap I have to admit that I was kinda disappointed. I mean...a blog post about an Etsy shop that ships bacon and eggs would've been soooo cool! LOL...But after the disappointment came admiration. Admiration or someone who could create something sooooo cool!! :-)

     Then started the search for cool! :-)) And where would I start?....besides my very own wedding line o crochet boutonnieres I mean!! ^_^ Say hello to the wedding 'button'-ieres section of my Wuglyees shop!!...

     These are the only ones I have in there right now, but I'll be working on it a little at a time.

     As I was saying..^_^...I went on a search for cool! And since I already had eggs on the brain, I went in search of cool...eggs!

     Now I know you're saying.....WHAT?!!! Cool eggs?!!! ...O_O...But wait until you see what I found!!!

      Frankly, bacon is not on my mind this morning. Getting prepared for the big storm we may be getting, starting tonight, is what's on my mind this morning!! O_O The weather people are 'all a-flitter' about it! Unfortunately they can't tell yet whether it's gonna be a 1-3 inch event, or a 6 to whatever...plus ice...plus rain...event!! They're watching the 'weather models' to find out.

      You know what that means!! O_O...That means that we should probably go outside in our yard, lick our pointer finger, hold it up to the four winds, and see if snow lands on it, or it freezes like a Popsicle!! Ha! Ha!

     Anyway!! ^_^ The storm is not coming until late this evening, and my stomach is growling right now!..."Here I come, Breakfast!!!!" :-) ... Have a good day, Everybody!

If It's Snow...You Need A Hat, Some Candy, And Some Music!

    No, this photo isn't of Massachusetts, but it sure could be today! We're actually getting a light snow flurry right now. So romantic looking....Yes, "I" said that! ^_^ Go figure...I'm missing snow! Who woulda 'thunk' it?!! LOL Not me, that's for sure!

     I didn't know I was missing snow until yesterday afternoon. While the sunshine was beating down on my backyard, I looked out the window and saw a light snow shower floating by, and thought: "Ooooo! Snow!!" Then I looked around to see who said that! ^_^ Imagine my surprise that...it was ME!! LOL

      Don't get all excited though, all you winter "white stuff" lovers! When I'm talking about me missing snow, I'm talking about the kind of snow that floats lightly from the sky and makes all sound disappear. Not the kind of snow that packs your grass and barbecue under a snow drift the size of Texas, where you have to pull out shovels and ice scrapers, snow blowers and salt to throw on the ground for grip!...Thinking about that kind of snow almost makes me sorry I said ANYTHING nice about the 'white stuff'! LOL

     From a purely financial perspective, snow "would" make people think about covering their heads...Covering their heads with hats...Maybe MY hats! ^_^ That would be a good thing! I've been making so many of them, but not selling any. Well...not yet anyway. Although I do have a hat on reserve for a customer right now. 

     But not selling them is not stopping me from making them!...This is my latest 'baby'!...

         My hubby loves these hats! Not necessarily the turquoise, but he's been trying to steal the black one and the red one! ^_^ I've held him off with the promise that I'll finally make him a new pair of fingerless gloves...I made the gray pair he's wearing now last year, or the year before (I can't remember).  They're looking pretty frazzled right about now, but he absolutely loves them! He says he's getting a lot of questions from guys that see him wearing his too, as to where he got them. He says I should make some and let him show them off for me! :-)

      Okay...Men's fingerless gloves,...not to mention water bottle holders, and toilet tissue covers....back on the list! :-) But for now, onward to the next hat! ^_^ I started it yesterday...

     I don't know if I'll finish it today though. My girlfriend is coming over to have breakfast and doctor on my 'silent' computer! The speakers came in....YAY!!! I may be boogieing before sunset! LOL

      Okay....what else?!....What else?!....Oh! Yeah! I found a couple of shops on Etsy I think you'll like. One has a fabulous watercolor painter! She's been on Etsy for a year without a sale!! If you look at her shop, with the cutest cards and paintings, you won't be able to believe it either!...This is one of her paintings...
