     It's Friday!....Awesome!!!!! :-) Although I don't know why I'm so excited. It's just another day, right?!....Wrong! It's the end of the week....It's the day before the weekend starts....It's my 'virtual date night'...(my hubby and I go all over the world 'virtually' on our Friday Date Nights, for those of you new here...Example: HERE.  ^_^)...and we're going away again...Shhhhh! It's a surprise trip for hubby this time. :-)) ...With all of my sleep issues lately...or should I say LACK of sleep issues,...and hubby being so great about everything, I decided that I'm going to 'wife-nap' him tonight! ^_^ I may tell you about it later.

      But since YOU all have been so awesome about coming to visit and read about all of my issues. I'm gonna make this an awesome Friday for two of you too! :-) I'll tell you about that in a minute. :-) ...Right now I'd like to share some things I found on Etsy that I think are pretty awesome...and things that I may or may not be thinking about for my 'Date Night' trip tonight! :-]

       Speaking of sharing, I want to share with you what I made yesterday...the creative brain with five whole hours of sleep was hopping! ^_^

      It's a gold, white speckled button lapel pin...

       I'm not selling this one though. Hubby wants it! :-) ..."Yeah, Shoulder-Looker-Overer, it's yours! LOL Maybe you can wear it tonight!"

      I "am" gonna sell this one though!...

   I know what you're thinking: "Hey! It's not a flower!".....I KNOW!! That surprised me too! ^_^

     What can I say..I was in a square black and white kinda mood! :-)

     We'll have to wait and see when and if somebody buys it, if I'm the only one in a square black and white kinda mood! :-))

      But right now I don't wanna talk about buying. I wanna talk about giving something away! :-) It's been a while since I did. And since Fall is right around the corner....and because YOU all have been so awesome!...and because I'm in the mood...I'm giving away two...count 'em...2 of my long remnant scarves! :-)

We're some 'virtual' traveling fools!
We revel in our 'virtual' jaunts,
but don't have to follow travel rules.

Our shoes stay on our feet.
In fact, sometimes we go without!

Yes, we travel everywhere,
and we never spend a dime.
It's 'virtual' perfection.

Blank Space Is Good For Dressing Up And Writing In!

     Have you ever looked at a blank space, or a blank page, and been totally dumbfounded as to what you were going to write about?!...Yeah, it's happened to me too...No! Really. It has! ^_^ ...but the wordlessness only lasted for about a second, in my case! LOL I can always find SOMETHING to talk about...even if it's talking about how pretty the blank space itself is! ^_^

     I'm talking about that gorgeous journal in my header photo. Isn't it colorful and pretty?! And it looks like the perfect place to write down some new poems or something! :-) I'll have to keep that in mind!...The blank space I'm gonna fill today though, is my blog space! I'm gonna dress it up a bit. It looks like it needs some accessories! :-)

My Favorite People

My favorite people listen well,

        I can hardly believe that we're already at the middle of the week! It seems like time is just flying by so fast!...Maybe that's because I'm finally getting a little sleep! ^_^ Yes...I am! About five or so hours a night! EX-CI-TING!!! 

      Knowing me, it's probably not gonna last, this rich man's stash of sleep I'm enjoying right now. But I'm not gonna think about that. I'm gonna ride the wave...smell the roses...count my sheep! LOL...*I was joking with my girlfriend just recently about how I've been trying to get sleep for so long that I've not only been counting my sheep, but I've been curling and braiding their hair...plucking their eyelashes...and putting their pajamas on 'em!...and they still keep getting out of the pen!! LOL*

       This is where I was with my blanket when last YOU saw it (above)...But I worked on it for quite a while last night while I was watching the gymnastics, track and field and beach volleyball. :-) This is where I am now...

       As you can see, I'm two more colors deep now! :-)

      I'm almost ready to start another color now!...The truth is...I probably would've started it if a certain six-foot 'gymnastics-floor-dance-mimicking-man', who shall remain nameless...but I think you know who I mean...^_^...hadn't totally distracted me with his version of the girls performances last night! LOL

      He came into the room saying: "I can do that!....It's like this....and like that!"...but y'all, it totally WASN'T like this and like that!!!! LOL It was more like Uhhhh....and like STOP IT before I pee my pants!!!!! LOL

Time For Me To 'Pour It On' Again!

       I'm sure that smilemercantile didn't expect to have their beautiful pitcher show up in a post like this one, but it was so pretty that I had to share it! ^_^ And since I "am" about to 'pour it on'...about me...again!...I thought YOU might forgive me this time...and I hope that smilemercantile forgives me too! ^_^ If one of you buy it, I know they will! LOL

     The reason I'm 'pouring it on' today is not just because I wanna talk about myself...although I never run from doing that, do I?! ^_^ But you can blame Melissa of LazyDaisyCrochet this time! ^_^ 

     Melissa nominated me for an award...the One Lovely Blog award! :-) 

          

         Thank you Melissa!...But in order to follow the rules of the award, I have to tell you seven things about myself...in other words, 'pour it on'! LOL

      I almost don't know where to begin, because I've told you practically everything about myself already! But here goes!...

1. My husband says I'm very witty and he loves my smile...that's the answer I got from him when I asked him what things I could share with you this time :-) ...so the first thing I wanna tell you is that my 'picker' was very good 30 something years ago, when I was choosing a life partner! :-) And to let you know how good my 'picker' was...I couldn't stand my husband! YUCK! What an annoying guy I thought he was! Ha! Ha!...Thankfully I got out of my own way and let my 'picker' (my better judgement) do it's thing!!! ^_^

2. Blogging and talking comes so easy to me!...It boggles my mind why, because my brain barely works when I have to focus it on something exacting where I have to be very specific about what I'm going to say!...or when I have to remember what I did five minutes ago! LOL I guess the 'stream of consciousness' thing works for me. 

3. I have paid to be a lifetime member of three different exercise gyms in my life...None of them exist anymore, but here I still am...as under-exercised as a girl can get! LOL And, by the way, I LOVED exercising!!...I didn't love having to get up so early to travel to the gym,...and I didn't love some of the outfits I had to wear, and I didn't love a lot of the silly equipment I had to use...remember the cellulose wooden rollers that were suppose to beat up your cellulose and release it?! LOL...Ugh! After using that machine, leaning my tummy up next to it for what seemed like hours, the only thing that was beat up was me!....and I was itchy besides!...*shaking my head*...Here's the machine I'm talking about, the Walton Massage Roller...

4. I love the texture of my own hair...when I put heat to it, 'straightening' or 'relaxing' it, it's very silky. Whereas when it's wet, it's extremely curly! ^_^ I have saved tons of money during the years, just wetting my hair and putting 'products' (Vitapointe) on it, to make it shine. People thought I was paying hair salons lots of money to get those shiny curls! ^_^ ... On the flip side though, when my wet hair dries...YIKES! It's really tangly and hard to comb out! I usually have to re-wet it before I comb it out, when it's curly...Also, the gray hairs that have come in over the years don't have a different texture than my other hair...although I think that usually it does with most people. I'm thankful! :-]

5. I can name all 66 books of the Bible from memory...in order...in less than 60 seconds...Sometimes, when the brain is having a really good day, I can do it in 50 seconds! :-) ...Why?! LOL I had a 6 year old Bible student who I was trying to teach the books of the Bible. She asked me if I could name all of them without looking... O_O... I couldn't....so now I can...and really fast!! ^_^ Sometimes you teach....sometimes you learn! :-)

6. I secretly wish I could come by all of your houses, for at least one hour every week, to have a sit-down Bible study with you, free of charge of course! ^_^ ...Oh, the fun we would have! Just thinking about the conversations and the laughter that would ensue makes me smile. :-) ...Okay...it's out! Ha! Ha! It makes you almost thankful that my health doesn't allow me to get to your house, right?!

7. I have an ear for accents...and mimic them easily. Not necessarily well...but easily. Breaking into a Jamaican accent, with accompanying phrases of Jamaica, has given my husband a wealth of entertainment over the years! ^_^ But my Spanish, English and Southern accents have been fun for him too!...or at least he says they have. He could be laughing 'AT', not 'WITH', me for all I know! O_O ...Wha-tever-man!! ^_^

      So there you go!...It's all poured out! And now, something pretty...

      YAY! Monday!! Another beginning of a week that we can be happy in! :-) ... What?!...Is that too much exuberance from a sleepy 'Wug' on  a rainy, foggy, New England morning?! ^_^ Okay, okay! I'll keep it down a bit. And there's nothing like just the right color to set a low key mood. So here goes...

       Now, strictly in the interest of showing you what I mean, I'm gonna share my latest creation with you. ^_^ Okay, so maybe it's not 'strictly' in that interest...Frankly, I just wanted to show it to you! LOL...

      I had been making so many men's boutonnieres and lapel pins for my Wuglyees shop that I had stopped thinking of my pretty necklaces for the ladies all together...a situation that had to be remedied! :-)

        It'll be back to the boutonnieres and lapel pins today...and maybe a little work on a certain forgotten sweater blanket too...

      Hopefully, after I work some things off of my 'To Do' list, I'll have the time and energy to list a few things in the shop, including this necklace and a couple of lapel pins I already finished!...I'll make it more urgent if any of you want to buy it. When I Lay My Pillow Down

What do I want to accomplish
by the end of the day?
Do I want a sense of peace,
or have my nerves all at a fray?!

I want a calm to have set in.
To have my muscles all relax.
To have brain waves slowing down,
and my awareness at a max.

I want to know that I've done good
when I lay my pillow down.
That I've caused someone to smile,
and feel more happy and unwound.

I want the people that I love,
without strings, to love me back;
And relationships I've formed
to be settled and intact.

When I lay my pillow down,
with my business put to bed,
I don't want to have to worry
that I've cheated or misled.

I want a sense of satisfaction,
and that feeling, "Job Well Done!"
No loose ends that need re-tieing.
No last race I have to run.

What I want to have accomplished
at the end of the day,
is brain cells in the pink,
with no foggy, mental gray!

A happy family, happy me,
a happy God, without a frown;
And I want this every night,
as I lay my pillow down.
