You May Hate Me After This Post! :-)

     If you looked at the header photo quickly, in your Google feed, you probably said to yourself: "What is that?...a biscuit?!" ^_^ Well, let me assure you it's not a biscuit!! It's a 'Here-You-Go!-Feel-Better-Wug!' LOL
     Why am I calling it that?!...Because when I saw it yesterday...I felt so much better! ^_^ Technically it's cheesecake. Or should I say, TWO cheesecakes!! :-)
 

     This is what happens to me whenever I have a really bad day, and I feel awful, and exhausted, and frustrated, and achy, etc...I could go on and on here, but I'll spare you. Suffice it to say...Yesterday was a really bad day for me!
      But somehow whenever I have a really bad day like that, something wonderful always happens that seems to make my bad day pale in comparison. And that's what my Here-You-Go!-Feel-Better-Wug cheesecakes did for me! :-)

      Some friends made it for my hubby and I. Homemade individual cheesecakes, with Oreo cookie crust!!!! YUM!!! :-) Hubby couldn't eat the crust. He's allergic to chocolate...sorta, kinda. (It won't kill him if he eats it, but he gets all kinds of other side affects that he doesn't like!)But that's alright! I'm NOT allergic to it!! ^_^
 

     No, the cheesecake didn't take away all of my health issues yesterday, but it sure did do a world of good for my mental state! ^_^ Well, the cheesecake, the 4 sales in my Wuglyees shop, and the final public talk by our visiting Circuit Overseer at the Kingdom Hall! :-) Ooooo! That talk was so timely and encouraging!!...Sometimes a reminder of how valuable you are to God is highly needed when you're feeling down. ♥
        So, if you hate me now, for showing off my cheesecake...my cheesecake that hubby went and bought crushed pineapples to put on top of...almost when it was too late! LOL...I'm sorry......sorta, kinda. ^_^
 

      Let's face it, if my aim for this post was just to get you to like me...I probably wouldn't talk so much!! LOL But I'm still talking my fool head off!! ^_^ Hey! I can talk to myself!!..and I do!!...probably waaaay more than I should!! LOL..."HELLO!!!....Is anybody still out there?!"...If you are still out there, have a good week!! :-) ♥

Contagious Annoyance

Are annoyances contagious?
Yeah, you heard just what I said!
There was one thing that annoyed me;
Then somehow it seemed to spread.

I was annoyed at my computer,
at my stomach, and at me;
Annoyed at why my written-worded
brain cells seemed to flee!

Annoyed at my 'To Do' list
never seeming to get done.
Annoyed that going shopping
wasn't nearly as much fun.

Annoyed at family members,
and at hubby's 'helpful' glee.
Annoyed at Blogger-dot-com,
and it's not letting me be me!

So, come on everybody,
Please! Today, 'throw me a bone'!
Just peacefully leave this half annoyed
and crazy girl alone!

       I had a whole lot of words...for the Post Office...Grrr!...that I was gonna start today's post with, but I saw this cutie and that was the end of my rant. :-) Hello, Cutie!!...

      How could you have a bad word for anybody...not the weather man, the aching arthritis pain that's coursing through your bones, the sarcastic post office worker!...Grrr!...or anybody with that little smiley face looking at you?! ^_^ You're smiling yourself right now, aren't you?! ^_^
 

       So cute! :-) ... And that little cutie is stopping me from ranting on and on about the post office and their shipping prices, but it's not gonna stop me from telling you what happened yesterday!
              Hubby went to the Post Office to mail out a package for me. A rare summer sale in my shop. YAY!!...

      The woman behind the counter at the post office said: "Hi! I haven't seen you in a while!"

       Hubby said: "Yes, that's because sales are slow."

     She said: "Why is that?"

     And he said: "I don't know."

     Then she sarcastically said: "Maybe it's because it's summertime and people are outdoors, and not on their computers."
       I say: "Ha!!!!!!!...No, Mrs. Postal Worker Smarty Pants! It's because YOU GUYS hiked up your shipping prices, and ran all my customers off!!!!!! They can't 'afford' to be online buying anything! especially not crochet boutonnieres that they can live without anyway!!!" ^_^
      But of course....hubby didn't say anything like that to her!! He's too cute, and too polite, and not like me....DIRECT! LOL I would have said: "No, it's not the weather. It's your hiked up shipping prices that's taking my business away!!" LOL
     Hubby wouldn't say that. And he didn't! He just smiled at her...sorta like that cutie in the header photo, and said: "Have a nice day."......UGH!!!
      Uhhhhh....do I sound kinda cynical about the postal worker's comment?!...Yeah!....Yeah.....ya think?!!! LOL...But thanks to smiling foxes, and weather forecasts that say a break in the rain is coming at least for part of the day, I'll get over it! ^_^

If I Can't Have Hummingbirds........

      Here I was this morning looking out into the backyard at the rainless lawn and the leaf-filled tree where my hummingbird feeder used to hang...Yep! It had to come down. And not because of the neighborhood boys either!...It was the ants! They started taking the feeder over again....and we haven't even seen a hummingbird yet!...Bye, bye, hummingbird feeder!...I "DO NOT" want to start with the ant and wasp war again this season!!!! No! 

     But does that mean that I don't want to see birds?....No! It absolutely "DOES NOT" mean that! I definitely wanna see some birds!...besides my ever-present backyard robins, cardinal, blue jay and mockingbird I mean...How about some chickadees, nuthatches, or finches! :-) ... And wouldn't they be fun to watch coming to a pretty feeder like the one in the header photo!

      I'll have to give that some thought later...Today I'm all about maps and flowers! :-] Maps, because I'm working on some mapping in my spare time, helping to make some territory easier to access...Flowers, because...

       ....Well,...because I'm always about a flower. Always! ^_^ In fact, that's all I've been doing lately, is crocheting flowers!...In a minute I'll show you the newest flowers I made last night. But first I wanna show you the two treasuries a couple of my items were chosen for!

      

         One was "Oh So Pretty For The Princess"...

        The other one was "Purple Haze"...

         And one of my crochet flower brooches, my lilac purple brooch, was chosen for this one!...

        Thank you, very nice treasury makers! :-)

     And that brings me to the brooches I made last night. :-] I made a couple of crochet necklaces in the same vein as the above brooch...more petals. Instead of ending with the usual six outside petals, they have nine!...

        It's still not that big though. It's just a little bit bigger than 2 inches (5.1 cm)...

       I made two of them, in two different shades of purple.

       And with two different buttons...

       In the photos below, I laid them beside one of my 'Wuglyee' boutonnieres, so you could see the difference in the sizes...

      If I was listing these flowers as fast as I was making them my shop would be so full you'd have a hard time finding your way around in there! LOL In fact, I have a whole bag full of boutonnieres and necklace flowers that need to be photographed and listed! O_O

      It's not gonna happen today. That's for sure!!...I got my "Friend" visiting this morning...UGH! I guess the last time it visited, when I thought it was gonna be the last time it showed it's ugly face around here again, "wasn't" the last time!! O_0 The only good thing about it showing up, finally, is that it explains why I've been so exhausted, sleepy and hungry the last few days!...I mean I've been starving from the minute my eyes opened in the morning until my eyes closed at night!

      It was starting to worry me a little because, contrary to popular belief, I don't think about food that much, and lately it's been on my mind ALL DAY LONG!!...ANNOYING!!!...So here's hoping that this visit REALLY IS the last one!!! ^_^ ... Sorry fellas, sometimes a girl's gotta talk about what a girl's GOTTA talk about! LOL I'm done now though! ^_^

What An Annoying Day That Was!!!!!

        Stay with me now!........because I know this is gonna be a stupid question, but have you ever had one of those days where everything seemed to start out just fine,...except for a little bit of physical issues,...and a little bit too much on your mind,.....and then the world seemed to tilt everything just a little bit on it's axis.....AND EVERYTHING STARTED TO GO HAYWIRE ALL AT THE SAME TIME?!!!!!! O_O Well...that was my yesterday!!

       My stomach was acting up all day. I should've known right there and then that it was gonna be an one of those days!! Here's what happened:

1.  I had a list made of the things I needed to get from JoAnn Fabrics...to do my finishing embroidery work on my crochet pillow. It was a loose list, you know....the basics....Hubby left the house to go somewhere that was gonna take him about an hour and a half. No problem....HOURS went by. He wasn't answering his phone. I began to worry. O_O Did he have a car accident? Did something come up that he hadn't expected? Why hadn't he called?!

    HOURS later...he pops back into the house...without a care...carrying bags from two craft stores, one being JoAnn Fabrics!! He saw the list I'd made and thought he'd just go and get the things for me. He said he was gonna call while he was out and let me know, but he forgot his cell phone here at the house. {Eight scared, worried messages later.......UGH!} I asked why he didn't call me from one of the stores or stops he made......he said: "Oh! I could've done that, couldn't I?! :-) I didn't think of that......O_0}

         And my stomach went...gurgle, gurgle, gurgle....Now, maybe I shouldn't have been annoyed. After all, he went shopping for things he thought I needed, and he was standing there so proud of himself that he had gone on this 'adventure' without being prompted for a change!

     No, I shouldn't have been annoyed...but I was!! Grrr!...I was annoyed because I didn't get to tell him the specifics of exactly what I wanted at JoAnn's...He came back with only one of the four items correct. Muslin fabric. The fabric I was gonna use to practice my embroidery stitches...*shaking my head*...And yes I do hear all of you out there in blogland telling me to MOVE ON and take it for what his intention was....Okay!!!!!

2. I went to write a check for something yesterday and realized that I didn't have any!! O_O The brand new checks I ordered over a week ago hadn't come...and I had forgotten all about it!...Thankfully, as quick as I realized I didn't have any, the mailman came and there they were!....PHEW! One slightly more annoying annoyance averted.

3. I put my blog up yesterday. Went and did some updating in my Etsy shop. Went offline for a while. Came back online and answered a couple comments I had gotten on the blog...Went back offline for a few hours....Came back online. Headed to my blog, and........and......I couldn't access it! O_0 It said I was denied access! And even worse...that my blog had been deleted!!!!!...What?!!!...Why?!!!!...

      I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out what was wrong...going to a lot of your blogs trying to see if I could access mine from yours....Nope! Asking questions on Twitter.....on Etsy.....on Facebook.

      Finally YAY!!! I got some help!! A wonderful fellow blogger...who I would name in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure she would like it. :-)) She showed me exactly where to go. Then.....click....bam...boom! I was back in!!! :-]

      Was that the end of my annoyances of the day?!.....No!...*gurgle, gurgle, gurgle*...Aargh! I'm not gonna make you sit through me listing any more of them though. Why should you be annoyed just because I am?!!! LOL.....Well, maybe I'll just mention a few of them. LOL

       This morning everything on the computer wants to update, and a bunch of things in my Etsy shop have expired all at once and need updating, and....and this is really annoying, even still this morning,...I missed my trip to Madagascar for my 'virtual date night' last night!....Grrrrr!!!!...My mind was a little occupied and hubby didn't want to annoy me talking about a little trip to Africa! LOL

        What else?!......Well, my brain doesn't want to calmly put words together this morning either!....and even though the temperature in our area is supposed to get up to 50 something today, right now I'M FREEZING!!!....Did I make my brain and body annoyed with me now?!!!...
