Hubby Is Green...So I've Gotta Be Blue!

I just couldn't resist sharing this little guy! ^_^ I felt exactly like this in the middle of the night last night...like I was a mouse looking for a little somethin' somethin' to nibble on! LOL Well...I couldn't do that much sleeping, so eating sounded like a 'cheesy' good idea! ^_^
Plus...I was on care-giver duty. Hubby's not feeling well. :-( I guess after all of the stress of doing our taxes, and a trip up near Boston this weekend to our Circuit Assembly (Jehovah's Witnesses), rubbing shoulders with so many people, he exchanged more than encouragement! :-) ...He exchanged a few germs too! ^_^
Ever since yesterday evening, he's had a raspy throat, some congestion, and a bit of a fever. He says he doesn't feel that bad...typical of what he always says when he's sick! But I hear his breathing, and see how zoned out he is...so I know he needs babying today...I'm already on it! :-)) He's had vitamin C, chicken soup, and back rubs and cuddles all night off and on. All of that, and a nap or two today, and he should be ready to go tomorrow! :-]
I've just got to keep things calm and quiet today...and I think the new treasury...

...that Anna from AnnaKiperPhoto chose to include my turquoise flower headband in...

...will be just the ticket! ^_^

It has some really soothing shades of turquoise blue items. Here's a few of them...

And if this treasury's items don't completely do it, then I'll have to try a few other calming images I found...

I can write hubby a "Get Well" card with these... :-)

I'm gonna share this photo with him...later...to help him appreciate the benefits of being sick! ^_^ He doesn't have to be OUTSIDE sneezing and wheezing. He can continue to do it right here in the comfort of his own house! LOL

I'll share this one with him just because...just because even sick husbands need a little color in their lives! :-)

And this photo is more for ME! To remind myself to take advantage of the time 'Mr. Sick Man' is out like a light! ^_^ ...By the way, is it wrong of me to be drooling over yet another crochet bag?! O_O ...But to this bag's credit, it has the actual word "Crochet" across the side of it!!
And in case hubby doesn't get up any time soon, I can also do some reorganizing!...

I've got some chicken soup, and other cold remedy meal recipes, that need to be at an arm's reach now! :-)

Okay...before I go, let me remind you that today is the last day to follow the blog and then put a comment below in order to get your name in the box for the afghan Giveaway! (click the photo of the afghan on the right hand sidebar.) I have quite a few comments this time too! So...come on...put me to work! :-) ...If you like, you can use your comment to wish hubby a 'Get Well Soon'! :-) ...And wish me a peaceful, quiet day of rest!....that's what I want!...and Shhhhh!....that's what I'm gonna get!! ^_^
Have a good day, Everybody!..."You too, honey!!" :-)

 Peaceful Moments

Peace is what I'm after.
No concerns to vex my head.
No disturbing complications.
No emotions to be read.

Peaceful contemplation.
Mental 'Playing in the yard'.
No 'You have to do this!" wording.
Nothing strenuous or hard.

Quiet, simple peace.
No one's problems I should fix.
No concentrated effort.
No new wrinkles in the mix.

Yes, peace is what I'm after.
Nothing pressing me 'to do'.
I want peaceful little moments.
And I'm gonna get them too!
