I had my first night of the sleep study last night. UGH! I can't imagine another two nights like the one I had last night! O_O And neither can my husband! I was just miserable!....and when you're married to someone for almost 30 years, when you're miserable...so are they. And if they're not, you remedy that little problem right away! LOL
Between the thing obstructing my breathing near my nose, the velcroed monitor on my arm that kept falling off, the wires around my chest, and the squeezey thing on my finger...I could NOT get comfortable! And there wouldn't have been enough pretty nighties in the world to make it so either! :-(
I kept falling asleep and waking up....Once I fell asleep, and woke up and only 45 minutes had gone by. I fell asleep again, woke up...less than an hour had gone by! O_O Then I flipped left..."Be careful of the wires!!"...I flipped right...I moaned....I hummed (^_^ a little thing I do instead of snoring!)...I complained!....And finally I said: "I've had enough of this!" All the wires and monitors had to go!....and it was only a little bit after 3 a.m....UGH!
Now I'm exhausted, irritated, and hungry....thus the chocolate chip pancakes in the header photo! ^_^ I saw them in a post Jo, of A Cup Of Jo, did on Pinterest images. It almost made me rethink my avoidance of Pinterest! LOL...Just looking at them, I know that they could take care of the hunger...if I could just get my husband...whose probably "Too Through with me!" right now...to make me some!
I mean...I 'am' the girl that was trying to order him some Peach Pie In A Jar, from LetThemEatPie, for our upcoming anniversary! :-) ... I was trying to, but then I realized that they needed three weeks to send the pies out!...I don't have three weeks before my anniversary. I have 3 or 4 days!...*lack of sleep has me losing track of time, so please holler when Monday gets here, will ya!*...Too bad too, because I was drooling over the prospect of biting into that delicious pie in a jar while I was looking longingly into the eyes of my husband of 30 years...I'm avoiding his gaze right now because, after last night, he's not very happy with me! His eyebrows are furrowed...and fuzzy too. :-))
I can't wait until I see some sunlight...
...and be able to see all of those beautiful flowers that are growing along the edge of the backyard...
They're probably weeds, but they have me flower drooling anyway! :-) I'm even drooling over vases to put them in. Wouldn't they look nice in this...
Anyway...once I get a little something to eat, and do a little crocheting to try to relax myself (I'm still coming along on the sweater blanket)...
...and maybe do a little reading...
(HookUUpCustomCrafts)
...and have a little something to drink...
....and watch a little sports (There's PLENTY of it on these days! ^_^)...
...then I'm going to bed!....and with my C-Pap machine on this time!..Hey! They didn't say I had to nap with all of those wires and stuff on! ^_^ I need to SLEEP....and maybe DROOL! LOL...Have a good weekend, Everybody! :-)
Hungry Stomach
My empty stomach's grumbling
was as noisy as could be!
So demanding in it's urging,
and it's "Hungry" symphony.
I awakened to it's music,
and the fluttering that it caused.
I tried to just ignore it,
with its twist and turning gnaws!
Like a 'stick-in-hand' conductor,
setting music to a riot,
I'll direct some food into it,
so that it will just be QUIET!

Poor you, I hate it when sleep is like that, hope you have a happy weekend sweetie, and maybe a treat or two! :)
ReplyDeleteBee happy x
Thanks for the sympathy, Bee. :-) I just woke up fro a two hour nap....at least that's something! I'm hoping tonight's round is better!...*shaking my head* ^_^ Enjoy your weekend!
DeleteI could never do a sleep study. My son does them as part of his job and I still don't understand how he can sit and watch someone try to sleep. Oh well, I hope you can find your "sleep number" spot sometime and get some ZZZZ's tonight. You could make your own pies in a jar..I think I did it once..hmmmm..if I only did it once it must not have turned out so swell. I did make chocolate chip pancakes last weekend for the Grandkiddos that stayed. That I know I can do! Hope your weekend is a good one!
ReplyDeleteHi Yaya! :-) I was just over on your blog looking at your feet! ^_^...I'm just about ready to settle down for another night of no sleep...UGH! My sleep number for this sleep study is "ain-no-mo"!!! LOL
DeleteThose pancakes just made me drool. I'm going to have to make some of those soon. And your crochet blanket colors are gorgeous! That looks like a nice & heavy pattern. It bet it's a yarn-eater too!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are not sleeping well. I know how that can make everything miserable, including your sleeping buddy. I hope things settle down soon and you can get some deep, solid sleep.
Hi Pammy Sue!...Now there's another one of us drooling around here! ^_^ ...Thank you about the blanket, and boy are you right about it being a yarn eater! By the time I finish I'm gonna have used up all of the yarn i my stash I think!...Okay, I'm off to do night two of the sleep study...UGH! Goodnight...at least for you! :-))
DeleteGosh those pancakes looked amazing. I wish I had some of them right now! Yum!
ReplyDeleteThey sure did....and I wish I had some too! LOL I ended up having eggs and sausage instead....It wasn't as good as the chocolate chip pancakes would have been! ^_^
