Food = Fall...Fall = FOOD!

This post is just the next step in the process of posts that would be FALL!! :-) I mean...I already shared the outside scenes of Fall with you the other day! Now it's all about the FOOD!! ^_^

If I told you to go and pick a food photo that expresses what Fall looks like to you, you'd probably pick one of these, right?!...

Me too! :-) ... But hubby has been bringing home delicious fruit and other goodies from the grocery store. So Fall is looking a little bit more fruity at our table this year! ^_^ It's not all about the sweet potato pies and corn bread stuffing!.....Well, it's still a "little" bit like the sweet potato pies and corn bread stuffing! I mean...I still can see...and smell, can't I?!! LOL...But look at some of this Fall fruit and tell me you wouldn't be attracted to this too!...

      Huh?!......HUH?!!...Delicious looking, right?!! ^_^ ...Fall!.....Food!.....Fruit!! :-)

Looking around blogland I can see that I'm not the only one thinking about food for the Fall season! Some other bloggers are posting delicious recipes, and things they're cooking....YUM!...Like Nicole, over at Nicole's Homemade Treats blog,...

     ...with her Apple Crisp recipe!

And Jenna, of Eat, Live, Run blog,....

...with her Spaghetti with meat sauce!

And how about Laurie, over at the Simply Scratch blog, with her Spicy Garlic Chicken Wings and Blue Cheese Dip...

Or would you prefer to go over and have breakfast with Kamana, over at the Journalling Through Photos blog?...She made Cinnamon Rolls!...

Me?!...I had a certain 'Mr. Wug Man' fix me a nice breakfast this morning...Cheese Kielbasa and grits, with a hot cup of green tea with lemon...or as I call it, 'liquid compost'!! ^_^

Speaking of 'Mr. Wug Man', I mentioned yesterday that I trained him to do something for me...Well, he's been taking a few classes about the computer. He's learned all kinds of things that I didn't know. He shared a few things with me, and I.......took advantage of his desire to practice what he now knows, and his enthusiasm for trying new things! LOL
I "allowed" him to list a few lapel pins for me in my shop...^_^...I showed him how to open two windows at one time, and how to 'copy' and 'paste' sizes and stuff like that. Then I let him loose on about 12 or more of my latest lapel pins! :-)) ...He did a great job...except when he forgot that "he"...for all intents and purposes...was "me"!! O_O
He listed one of my lapel pins and then put, as a comment heading it, "Nice Work!"...O_O...I didn't see it until later. LOL...WOW! How arrogant do I look?!..."Hey!....Hah!....Look at my lapel pin...Nice work, right?!!"....*shaking my head*...I told him: "From now on, let's leave off the commentary, alright!!" ^_^ ...He was over-come by how cute it was, he said....How could I be mad at that?! :-)
Just for that, I gave him some cookies!...

(Black and Orange Oreo Cookies by Lori411)

...and a hot cup of tea...

...and then I gave him these 4 lapel pins, that need listing today! ^_^ ...See what a good wife I am! :Nice Work!" LOL...Have a good day, Everybody!

 Trying Something New

Sticking my feet in the water,
sticking my toe in the sand,
sticking my tongue out to taste it,
rolling it around in my hand.

It's not somewhere I've been before.
It's not something that I've ever had.
It's not what I had expected.
But you know what? It's not that bad!

  1. Fall is my favorite season for sure! I love the apples, grapes, pears, colors, crunchy leaves, etc.! The problem is....I know what it leads to. :/ Guess I'll just have to enjoy it and take it a day at a time.
I just finished making some fresh raspberry muffins! Yummy! I should photograph one and show it off too! :)
Have a great day and I'll look forward to seeing your new lapel pins listed today too!

  4. Apples would be high on my Fall food list! Also acorn squash. I had a half of one everyday this week for lunch...so good! I could use a few..OK, many, lessons on the computer. I'm glad I'm able to blog and post comments! What a great guy you have who makes you breakfast and helps you list your "wares"! The oreo cookies made me smile. Every year I know it's almost Spring when the pastel oreos make a showing!
