Hubby and I haven't been having our typical 'Virtual Date Night' dates lately...Don't get me wrong! We have been having our Friday dates...just not our typical 'virtual visiting' dates! For instance, last Friday we spent the day quietly beating each other's brains out in Scrabble! ^_^ Well...I was beating his brains out!!
I know it was unfair! I mean...I'm the 'word queen'!! But, just the same, it was fun! ^_^ He was so sure I 'was going down!!!!' LOL...I even took pictures of the Scrabble board as we were going along. :-)) He was fine with it...because he was so sure it was gonna document my demise! But instead.....Well, you know! ^_^ {We're gonna do a post about it on our other blog later today.}
As I was saying, hubby and I haven't been having our typical 'Virtual Date Night' dates lately, but today we've decided to go off to a city that was posted about on Priscila's blog, Priscila Peters Decor...
We'll tell you about it tomorrow. :-) ...Today also, I want to tell you the story of 'Blue'! ^_^ ...When I was telling you the story of pink yesterday, you probably thought I was kidding about telling you the story of 'blue', didn't you?...Nope! ^_^
"Once upon a time, in a land far, far away....a land where elephants roamed...
...and where teal blue butterflies flitted everywhere...
...lived a girl who loved naps...
...and loved color, and coloring!...
...but wasn't that fond of rain. Grrr!... But she loved blue!...and umbrellas....and necklaces!...
...and she also loved crochet!! :-)
...even crochet that was being shown on a blog where she couldn't understand the language. :-/ ...
...The only thing she knew was that it was pretty!...She dreamed of what her own crochet flowers would look like in these pretty blue stripes.....*day-dreaming of blue striped crochet flowers*...But she wasn't gonna try to make them in blue stripes...In fact she wasn't even gonna be making blue crochet flowers right now. She was leaving that to others who do it well!...
...Such is the story of 'blue'.....The End!" :-)
And while that's the end of the story of blue, the story of my crochet flowers is ongoing! :-) I spent some time sewing the backs on, and putting buttons on the ones I made the other day. Here's a few of them...
This is only three of them. I finished more, but I figured I'd share those with you later. I don't wanna scare you away!! LOL...Have a good day, everybody!!...Yeah! I'm done! ^_^
