Spring...just fabulous!!! Rain, gnats, not being able to breathe because of all of the pollen...Okay already!!! Just the pollen thing alone is driving me batty! My hubby too! Every time he goes out of the house and comes back in he has to take a quick shower before he gets near me! I am so allergic! And considering that we have this thing where we don't leave the house or come back into the house without giving each other a little kiss, his quick showers are getting a bit much!...As you can see, I'm not in the best of form today. My mood is not good, and I've been up and down all night!
I think I really did myself in with my little "Nap" yesterday. I was so tired...actually exhausted...all day. (Hormones!) So I decided that I would put my lovely C-Pap machine on and take a little nap. This was at around 6:30 p.m. Just about a half an hour was all I wanted...to rejuvenate me. I was listening to the French Open tennis in the background, so I was sure I wouldn't stay asleep long. (I don't like to miss anything with my tennis!)
Cut to 10:30p.m.!!! Hubby said: "I thought you just wanted to take a nap! I tried to wake you up 3 times. Kuzzey won! (That's the nickname for Svetlana Kuznetsova)" UGH! I missed my match, and I was still feeling as tired as I did when I went to take my "nap"! So I got up, had hubby make me a hamburger, watched some tennis, chatted and giggled with hubby,...he was trying to make me feel better...and went down for another little "Nap". This was around 3:30 a.m....Back up I came at around 6:00 a.m.! I'm done!!! I decided to open my package that came on Saturday. (You know I haven't been in the best of mood when a package comes in the mail...a BIG one too...and I don't start tearing into it right away!!) And WOW! I think this just might put me in a better mood!
Oh Yeah, there was something else in the bottom of the box too!
Spring Is The Rain
Spring is the rain,
when the flowers grow again,
and new life is let remain.
After months of drench and drain,
you now see roses down the lane.
Spring is the rain,
and the budding of the grain,
and birds, out your window pane.
When the weather makes you sane,
and its no longer on your brain,
'cause there's no cold to give you pain.
Spring is the rain-
the time for traveling on the train,
for watching trees, not weather vanes,
and raking leaves-Autumn's disdain.
You lift your head, just like a crane,
and now your thought's no longer vain.
You think of seasons that were plain,
but now its blooming, down on Main,
because spring is the rain.
