Romance, Orange, white, and Ping!

     This cute owl couple kinda looks like me and hubby here at the 'treehouse' last night...^_^ Doing nothing special except sitting and looking at each other! Thankfully there was no throwing up, high fevers, coughs or nothing!....Well, except a few aches and pains here and there. He's feeling much better today!
       So, I thought I'd just share a few romantic items I found on Etsy...Hey! If I can't 'go' on a date, I can sure look at romantic 'date'-like things!... :-)

        Okay....I got the romantic bug outta me now! :-) Moving on........!
       I didn't just sit around yesterday twiddling my thumbs, watching for signs of stomach distress though. I also finished my white scarf!!
       I can hardly believe that this is an acrylic yarn! It's so soft!
        I think it would look really nice wrapped around a bride for a winter wedding, don't you?!...Okay, so maybe I 'don't' have all of the romantic bug out of me yet! :-)) Maybe finding out yesterday that one of our friends may be dating is what's making me all 'goo-goo eyed'. ^_^
     I don't know any details...yet! But I'll find out!...Anyway! One more thing to share and then I'm out!...A new treasury...Orange in Autumn.
      It was curated by Branislava Firicaski
      She included my Salmon Orange Infinity Moebius Circle Crochet Cowl Scarf from my Wuglyees shop...
      There was even a cute pair of earrings in there that I thought would look cute with my scarf.  They're Orange Jade and gold Earrings by anthology27...
      Cute, huh?! And colorful too! :-) {I needed some color too, after all that white!}
     Okay, that's all I have for today. Oh! Except to tell those of you who heard me talking about it...my 'Talk' went great! :-) {It was all about 'sweet smelling' prayers (Revelation 5:8).} I don't know what I was worried about! ^_^
       Mr. Wug and I will be updating our couple's blog later today. (In the house...Mr. and Mrs. Wug) All about how husbands and wives sometimes have different communication styles....We definitely do! ^_^
        Have a good rest of the weekend Everybody! :-) I'm off to look for a "Ping!"...And don't forget the Giveaway --->

"Ping!"

Do you find that you have lulls?
Times when life just has no 'Pings!'
Times when all that you've been planning
has been done! ... and nothing 'sings!'

You don't know what you should do.
Taking naps seem so sublime!
Knowing, when you look around,
that No! You haven't wasted time!

Lots of things have all been done.
But many things that you could do.
But nothing 'Pings': "Let's do this next!!"
The lull just gets the best of you.

Right now I'll try to ride the wave.
No expectation. Just relax.
Keep flipping books for inspiration.
Enjoying colors, brights and blacks.

Soon I know I'll be off again,
deeply engrossed in some new thing.
I'll get such satisfaction from it.
And that familiar little...'Ping!'

  4. CinLynn, It was, as always, my pleasure to share your beautiful jewelry on the blog!...And yes, Bead, I'm afraid I am a sappy romantic. ^_^ Guilty as charged! No apologies either. The world could use a few more sappy, loving romantics...in the purest sense of the word I mean. (It's just one Wug's opinion, but the world has waaaay too much 'sexy' and 'erotic' for my tastes!)...Thanks for the nice words about the scarves too! Have a good day too! {By the way, the other blog is up now}

  6. Priscila, Thank you! Glad you like the scarf! I hope to put it in the shop sometime soon. Who knows...maybe some 'chic' skier will want to have more than white snow hitting them in the face on the way down a hill! Ha! Ha!...Enjoy the rest of your weekend too!

  14. Awesome scarf! I can picture it with so many fall and winter jackets! I was in a bit of a romantic mood Saturday as well. Maybe it's from all of the 'Say Yes to The Dress' episodes I watched lol!

  16. Lisa, :-) Thanks! It wasn't the easiest scarf I've ever made (all of the fuzzy knotting made it hard to find the stitches at times), but I really like it too now that it's done...And I haven't seen 'Say Yes To The Dress' in a while! I didn't think it was still on! I'll have to find it and see what's going on these days in the bridal boutique! ^_^ Have a good day, Lisa!
