We're In From The Backyard...And "In The House"!

Just like hubby yesterday, when he went out to get me coffee...which I'm not having today people!!...just saying! ^_^ ...today's blog is gonna be wandering around a little. I've got some ends and outs of things to tell you about.
           First up is the new venture hubby and I embarked on yesterday...we started a new blog!!! ^_^ It was a whole day of figuring out the background, the font size, the font colors, the gadgets we want to have......okay, so that's still in the works! ^_^ {Who knew wrestling your husband for gadgets was gonna be so much work?!! LOL}
We're still tweaking a few things here and there, but our first post went up yesterday. The new blog is entitled "In the house...Mr. and Mrs. Wug". We're only gonna be posting there once a week or so. And it'll be conversations more about the two of us and things we discuss...our different views on things. And occasionally we'll share photos and videos and stuff like that...If you're interested, come on over and follow us HERE
Another subject is my Salmon Orange Fingerless Gloves from my Wuglyees Etsy shop...
Avramova included them in her new Treasury, entitled The Legend of Sleepy Hollow...Buuuuuu...

And etty2504 included my Black and White Crochet Teardrop Necklace...
        ...in her new treasury!...
          Thank you ladies! :-)
On the crocheting front...and yes! I'm still doing that! ^_^ I'm working on another 'Ugly Wuglyee'. I'm not that crazy about the colors....Yet anyway...but onward and upward! It might not be beautiful, but it's sure gonna be warm!
It has some micro-fiber black, some chocolate brown...
....some angel hair-type pink, and a variegated yarn that has brown and a kind of rose pink mixed in it...
You know how it is with some 'babies'. They're cute and cuddly....with their 'ugly little selves'! LOL I think this is gonna be one of those!!
Okay, the wandering around has stopped now...
Hubby's wandering around ended him up at 'Macy's...at the Mall! ^_^ Unfortunately my wanderings just end with me still talking....and a poem. :-) So, we've reached that destination...And since I'm off to work on the website house a little more, I'll share my poem about what my dream house...in real life...would look like. :-)
Have a good day everybody!! :-)

Dream Home

If I could dream a home to live in,
and put it anywhere I like,
I know it wouldn't be on a mountain.
I'm not a girl fond of a hike.

Although some mountains in the distance
would be a welcome tranquil view.
So would some loud and crashing waves
in an ocean crystal blue.

A very large Bay window,
would be a welcome book retreat.
I could lounge in there for hours,
watching the sea from pillowed seat.

There'd be big open spaces,
and huge chairs for taking naps.
A room just made for hubby,
with no candles, but road maps.

A kitchen full of tile and wood,
pretty colors everywhere.
The room that makes your food should say:
"Come on in, Girl!" and "Let's share!"

Everywhere you look
they'd be a space to sit and chat.
{Of course, for me, everywhere I've lived
there's been a place somewhere like that! :-)}

A big backyard with lots of grass,
where kids would love to play.
A deck, for barbecuing,
and for playing cards all day.

From miles around you'll see my house,
and hear the happy noise.
Lots of flowers you will smell,
and meet all my girls and boys.

My dream home has lots of things
that it will always be full of.
But even if the cupboard's bare
It'll be jam-packed full of love.

Can't wait for you to visit!
Just bring good manners and be kind.
I can't tell you when, just yet,
because this dream home's in my mind.

It's got all kinds of other colors though! ^_^ Thanks for the nice words about the new blog too Cin. We're not gonna waste a lot of time on it, but it's something to do anyway...And NO COFFEE for me this morning! Ha! Have a good day! :-)

  3. It doesn't have to have orange in it! I think the browns, blacks and pinks would make a beautiful pair of fingerless gloves! Have you ever considered multi colored ones?

  6. CinLynn, You know what? I did make some two-colored ones that sold, but I didn't make any more. I never really thought about three-color fingerless gloves. Hmmm...I'll have to do some thinking on that one! Thanks for the suggestion. :-]
