Love For The Tiny Handmade Boutonniere!

Even though the world's news is full of homes sliding off of cliffs and the threat of war, battles over political issues and all manner of this and that...I'm NOT talking about any of that today!!...and you can't make me!! ^_^
I woke up very early this morning...(Hormones. Don't ask!! Grrrrr!)...and I was in a surprisingly good mood! :-) I had the song "The Way You Look Tonight" playing over and over in my head...(Don't ask about that either, because I don't know why! LOL)...and my mind was as clear as a bell! :-)
I got me a cup of Love.....green tea with honey and lemon :-) ...

...and headed off to get my day started! :-) I went to my Wuglyees Etsy shop and saw that a few lapel pins needed renewing...and so I did...immediately!! It's getting to be about that time for people to 'come-a-calling' for boutonnieres and lapel pins, and I wanna have as many on hand and ready to go as I can!! ^_^
I'm not the only one that feels that way either! I went through the Etsy search to see how the other boutonniere sellers are fairing, and I saw these!...

Oh Yeah! They're doing just fine! :-) I decided to show off their work and give them a little love, from me to them! :-] So go by their shops and check out what they're making, will ya!

Also come by and check out mine too, please! ^_^ ...

I love the variety of colors I'm able to put together. What I most like about it is that if someone is getting married, or having a baby, or....or...for whatever reason they want!...they can let me hand-make a boutonniere or brooch pin in that color for them! {I'm about to do a whole black and white wedding theme boutonniere set soon!} :-)
Each boutonniere takes me about 1 1/2 hours, or a little less, depending, and I only charge $11.00 each for the boutonnieres, and $9.00 each for the tiny lapel pins...

The above tiny lapel pin will be in the Wuglyees shop later today. I finished it late yesterday. :-]

Oh My!! O_O Did this post sound like one of those t.v. 'info-mercials'?!!!... ^_^ Oh Well! I've sounded worse, I'm sure!! Ha! Ha!...I'll try to find something more interesting to talk about tomorrow...or not! ^_^ Even if it's not interesting, you know I'll be here talking my fool head off!! ^_^

 Living Are The Words

All Poets through the ages,
from Poe to Maya Angelou,
have known the power of a word
and what the written word can do.

Words, alone, or in a sentence,
camouflaged or on their face,
are living breathing things,
occupying time and space.

Left within the mind
no one can hear them swear and curse.
When you release them by your speech,
their jab can go from bad to worse.

A complement is like the carving
of a golden apple's peel.
Falling gently on the hearer,
making shiny words a meal.

Cutting words are like a dagger
seeking out the mind and heart.
of the innocent and sure.
Pulling confidence apart.

Living breathing, in and out,
causing havoc every day.
You could be their vehicle.
So, be careful what you say.

Let good words inhabit spaces,
(which inevitably they do.)
And in receiving minds and hearts?
Let them flourish in there too!
