(Red Velvet by Lauren Hammer from hammerpots)
I am always ready to talk your ears off, but on this foggy morning here in Massachusetts...Okay! So I'm still ready to talk your ear off! ^_^ But instead of doing so much talking today...I thought I'd show you the three beautiful Treasuries that some lovely Etsy shop owners have so generously included some of my Wuglyees shop items in!
The one in the header photo has such nice...red...items in it! :-) And it was kinda nice to see my red and chocolate brown headband wrap in there!...
It wasn't alone either. There were a whole slew of cuties in there! But my favorites were these...
But truthfully who wouldn't have Red Velvet Chocolate Chunk Marshmallow Raspberry Cupcakes as a favorite! ^_^
But I also loved this...
(dottyral)
...It's a Felt Cup of Tea Pincushion!! :-) How cute is that?!...As I say all the time, people are so creative!
The next treasury was this one...
(Gifts for Teachers by Lisa from ElainaLouiseStudios)
Who even thinks of giving gifts to teachers anymore?...but they should! And I'm not just saying that because I'm a teacher either! :-) Anyway...I think the gifts to a Bible teacher are those wonderful heads full of new knowledge that your students go away with! :-) But still...having one of my crocheted flower necklaces around a teacher's neck couldn't hurt, right?! ^_^
And how about these as gifts...
...The recipe for the best banana bread ever!...
...Or some repurposed vintage button earrings!...Pretty good, huh?! :-)
Okay....Last, but certainly not least, is this beautiful Treasury with a lot of reasons to smile!...
(Reasons To Smile by Patricia Chute from CeramicsOnEtsy)
I think this Treasury is really special because it has the theme of one of my poems! :-] ...
(Wuglyees)
So, I'm admittedly a little biased toward this treasury...and a lot humbled. :-]
I'm also loving all the reasons this treasury gives you to smile too. Let's see if it gets a smile out of you!...
You smiled, right?!....At least once! :-) ...I wanna thank all of the curators of these beautiful Treasuries for including my shop items. I really appreciate the attention. :-) You all gave me great reasons to smile!...and I could use a reason to smile today too.
I just heard on the news that the Postal Service here is trying to put a kink in one of my reasons to smile...Grrrr! They're laying off some people, and closing down some services. They're having some financial problems it looks like. So apparently getting our packages to customers is gonna take a little bit longer now...Oh Yeah, they're trying to make 'The Wug' a very 'un-smiling' girl!..but....it's not working....not so far anyway! I still have crochet!! :-]
This is my latest 'baby'...
I'm already about half way through re-making the soft blue scarf again too. I'm making it a little bit wider this time...Six inches instead of five...After that I'm gonna get started on a soft mint green scarf and headband. Fun! :-)
What are you all working on?! Spill it!! ^_^ ...And don't forget to enter the Giveaway for the child-size headband too! Click on the right hand sidebar picture of it for the details...and more photos...Have a happy, Treasured Monday Everybody!! :-)
Monday, Monday, Monday
Here comes another Monday!
Your frantic work week has begun!
Say goodbye to 'Take It Easy',
and all those things you haven't done.
Four more week days are ahead,
seeming like they'll never end.
But just think, before you know it,
"weekend" will be round again.
Lift your attention, all you mothers;
Week day workers, "Out The Door!"
Time to file, and diaper babies,
walk and scrape things off the floor.
Here comes another Monday!
Whether you want it to, or not!
Say goodbye to 'Take It Easy'.
You've got things to do...a lot!
Monday, Monday, Monday!
Why do you have to come so fast?!
And you stay so long! Why can't
the weekend 'Take It Easy' last?!
