Oooooo! Awwwww!...Aren't they beautiful! I was so happy to see them looking so healthy and vibrant in the backyard this morning because we were given a "frost warning" by the weather man last night. I was sure that we would wake up to drooping, drooping everywhere! But no!...Everybody survived!...
Even this little beauty (below) from the front yard!...
I love looking at them so much!...And not only did they survive...they seemed to laugh...Ha! Ha!...in the face of a Spring frost! ^_^ It made me wonder if now us 'scaredy' humans could take a true Spring inspired breath! O_O Is it possible that Spring is gonna finally look like Spring...and stay?...Is that big Spring snow storm gonna pass us by?...I know, you're thinking snow storm?!.....Yes, snow storm. I mean...why not?! We've gotten every other kind of unexpected weather around here! LOL
So, in honor of Spring finally being here and hopefully...staying, I decided to share some Spring and...dare I say....Summer inspired things! :-)
(Shoulder Bag by kinies)
(25 Glass Rondelles from whachuneed)
So, are you ready for all of this Spring weather?!....Are you ready enough to dare get the pool ready?!... O_O
Maybe one more week of waiting wouldn't be all that bad...just in case!....*looking left and right*...O_O
Whatever you decide....Have a good weekend, Everybody! :-)
All The Things I Love
If I listed all the things I've loved
I could rattle on forever!
Whether by 'order of importance'
or by a poeticly quick endeavor.
Right now it's Tennis...Well, all sports,
and reading informative magazines.
And crocheting, food and music.
Well..that might be in my genes!
I've loved teaching and line dancing,
So many things in my short life.
But I've never jumped from a plane,
or wittled anything with a knife!
With every passing moon
I find some other thing that I love.
Whether grassy patterns on my lawn,
or phenomenal skies above.
Yes, if I listed all the things I loved
my words could fill all space,
It comes from curiosity,
and an Ooo-ing Awww-ing place!
Your flowers look great!! Isn't it surprising how well they've done considering all the frost? Mine too!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day and weekend!!
Thanks, Bead! ^_^ I think so too, considering...! I'd love to see some photos of yours too. I kinda like flowers you know. :-)) Have a good rest of the weekend, Cin!

ReplyDeleteCorina from germany
Thank you for stopping by to let me know, Corina! :-)
ReplyDeleteThose flowers look so beautiful. What is that flower in the header? It looks stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo...Hubby says it's an "Azalea" bush. And you're right....stunning! It's so pretty....and hearty!
DeleteThanks for letting me know. I don't think I've seen an azalea in flower before :( I tried to grow some once but I killed it with kindness, oops.
DeleteHa! Ha! I've been known to kill a few plants with kindness...and too much water...too!... ^_^ ...so I understand.
DeleteDelightful poem! And lovely photos. I'm so glad your flowers survived!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Thanks, about the poem, Madeleine!...And yeah, I'm glad the flowers survived too! :-) Have a good day!
