Here we go! Another Monday...Another beginning of a week....Another kick start to your schedule...Another slew of plans you have to implement...And for me?!....Hopefully another night of sleep somewhere in the works! O_O
I saw these owls and they made me giggle. The eyes make me think of what my eyes must look like to hubby at 2:30 or 3:00 in the morning...when he turns over to see why I'm pulling on his cover! LOL...Anyway! That's not what I wanna talk about today. I'm sick of talking about my sleep...or lack thereof...and my hormonal issues! Grrr!
Today I wanna talk about things that make me laugh! ^_^ Me and hubby got into a conversation over the weekend about the different shows that we've loved over the years and our favorite scenes from them. (By the way, if you tried to look at our videos on the other blog --> HERE <-- and couldn't, try again. I fixed the setting.) It immediately had us acting out scenes and laughing our heads off!! ^_^ ...I was almost so wiped out after laughing that I could've taken a long nap! LOL...Tried it...
...I slept for about 20 minutes and then popped back up like a 'Jack-in-the-box' that's been wound up too tight!! LOL
Some of the things we talked about were funny scenes, like the scene in 'Frasier'
where Frasier had bought a restaurant. Do you remember that?! :-)) He put his brother, Niles, in charge of cooking in the kitchen and the aristocrats they they were, they put eels on the menu. O_O For some reason though, they were brought 'live' eels in a fish tank...and Niles was afraid of the eels...and didn't want to have to kill them.
In a frustrated haze, Daphne grabbed one of the eels out of the tank and whacked it across the table...:-)) ...and later, there was an explosion that happened when Daphne walked through the door. She came back through the door looking charred, and her clothes were smoking, and announced that there was cherries jubilee everywhere! LOL You had to be there. Ha! Ha!
I think I have funny scenes going through my head from every show I've ever seen, since I was a kid! Just rolling through my head, waiting for the times when I'm so exhausted that I don't know what to do with myself. That's when my brain decides to play them, like movies in my head...one after the other! LOL
What's in there?!...Lucille Ball's chocolates on a conveyer belt scene,...Martin and Gina's vacation to "Chilligan's Island",...Phoebe (of "Friends") learning how to ride a bike for the first time...sorta!... ^_^...Bill Cosby's family singing "Baby...Ohhhhh Baby!!" for their grandparents, lip syncing to an old record...and tons and tons of other useless...funny...stuff! LOL
Do you remember the funniest thing you ever saw?!...If I used that criteria though...the funniest thing I ever saw...there would also have to be things on the list that weren't on T.V....like hearing my hubby talking to.....himself...in the bathroom. I snuck around the corner to peep in and see what he was saying, and who he was saying it to...only to find him with a face full of shaving cream, playing out a scene from the wild west, to himself in the mirror!! ^_^ "This town ain't big enough for the both of us!" LOL
When he realized, after I bust into laughter, that I had seen the whole scene, you should've seen his embarrassed face!....PRICELESS!!! ^_^
Okay...I'm off to get some breakfast. We've got a lot to do today. I'll tell you about it in the upcoming days...Thankfully the 'leg-work' of it can be done here at home...because I'm gonna need to be close to home...and bed...today!...I foresee a good day. I hope you all have a good day too! :-)
Home
The place where I am at my best.
A place of calm and peace and rest.
The place from which I never roam.
'Cause it's in my heart, this place called home!

I don't remember that episode of Fraiser. I do remember the chocolate episode of Lucille Ball! It's a classic!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things that have made me belly laugh over the years. Hard to pick just one.
Get some sleep today and I hope your day goes well!
Oh! It was hilarious, Bead! It was a compilation of funny things happening one after the other. ^_^ You'd have to see it to know what I mean...At any rate, it's nice to have funny things in my tired brain...and not teary ones! LOL
DeleteLucille Ball provided lots of entertainment over the years. I never tire of watching her show. She was a very funny lady :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Jo! ^_^ I still watch her reruns every week now!
