I found this gorgeous picture on the internet...SOMEWHERE, but I can't remember where! I labeled it wrong. So if it's yours, remind me and I'll attribute it correctly. But it's so beautiful that I couldn't let it go unseen!
In fact, between the header photo, and some early morning photos hubby took in the backyard this morning...
...I'm feeling pretty good about what this day is going to bring! I'm not achy...because there's no rain. I'm not cranky...because I had a fun date night last night that still has me in a good mood this morning. And I don't have a loaded schedule of things to do today...because I cleared it all over the last few days so I could just relax today! :-)
So, what am I going to do today?!....The sky is the limit! So, first I'll show you some more sky photos that I found around the web!...These two I found on the blog And baby makes three.
This is another one, courtesy of Silja Erg. I mean, you can't beat a rainbow sky photo!
The next photos are not of sky....but as I said: "The sky is the limit!" So, I thought I'd throw a few flowers in the mix too! ^_^ I found these two on the blog Writings On Rose Petals.
Pretty good, huh?!...I guess by now you can probably tell I'm in a good mood!! ^_^ Hubby is too. I finished the fingerless gloves/mittens I was making for him! {I actually pulled the other ones apart that I had done. They didn't seem sturdy enough.}
These are much sturdier. In fact, I even crocheted a thin elastic cord into the rows of the wrist band part, so that they would hold their shape better.
He really likes them! They were my 'Date Night' gift to him..I got ribs and broccoli and two Hershey Chocolate Almond bars to put in my stash box! I love that he knows what I like.....and that he likes to see my face when he gives it to me! {Not like the occasional lapses in judgment,...like the bottled sink water thing!....Yikes!...I better get off of that subject before it ruins my good mood!! ;-)}
He likes these gloves so much that he said he wants me to make him a black pair too. I told him that those were going to cost him. He said: "How much?!" I said: "$700.00"...Maybe that'll get me out of having to make another pair any time soon! LOL I'm not sure though. He walked off like he was headed to see how much he had!!! ^_^ I suppose I better get out of here!!!
Have a good weekend everybody! I hope it leaves you in as good of a mood as I'm in right now! :-)
Going Out With My Baby
Going out with my baby.
Or going nowhere, but it's alright.
Playing games and constant laughing.
I think it's gonna be a great 'Date Night'!
Going out with my baby.
Or staying in, and hugging tight.
Eating all the things we shouldn't.
But smiling through every single bite!
Going out with my baby.
And visiting 'virtually' every sight.
All dressed up or in our jammies,
We're having fun. You know that's right!!
Hi Debbie! haha lol@700 dollars you are funny.They are cute, but for me my whole hand freezes in the wintertime lol.My poor fingers would be froze.
ReplyDeleteOh arent those photos nice, I love the rainbow.Those that were mine I just love the shade of blue they look like a purplish kinda blue.
Have a nice Sunday ahead!
Becky, So far the $700 thing is working!! ^_^ And I agree with you about the fingerless gloves, but he works on a truck all day loading, unloading, and inputting stuff into a hand computer. He wanted to be able to keep his hands mostly warm, but also be able to function without putting on and taking off mittens or gloves all day. These work for him...although he is talking about gluing patches in the palms of them. I can't watch him do that to my gloves, so...WHATEVER!! LOL...By the way I was mesmerized by those floating blue flowers! :-)
ReplyDeleteThose blue flowers are LOVELY! They just pop!
ReplyDeletePretty things, Thanks! Her site always has nice photos...I saw your websites too. You have gorgeous photos of your jewelry too!!
ReplyDeleteDeb....what were you thinking??? Take the 700 and buy all the things you've been wanting on Etsy!! Tell him that! He won't want the black ones! Teehee!!
ReplyDeleteCinLynn, Ha! Ha! Ha! I never thought of that! I'll try it!!...................Didn't work. :-/ ^_^
ReplyDeleteStunning photos! The rainbow is beautiful! I love the fingerless gloves you made for your man. They look great and are so useful.
